Background / History
Ancient Deeds and Fragmentation
As a King of Origin, the Forging Throne belongs to the primordial beings born alongside the universe’s evolving rules. Such beings possess an innate responsibility to defend the universe 171 206.
In an ancient battle, he fought alongside two other Kings of Origin against a powerful Evil God. He broke off a chair-leg fragment of his own body to seal the enemy. Someone later stole and refined that fragment’s forging origin, erasing his memories connected to it 202 203 204 206.
He also shaped the Galactic Core Continent after devastation associated with the Negative Universe’s invasion. The Ancient Tortoise of Time witnessed this achievement, but the Forging Throne himself no longer remembered it. Jiang Ziliu suspected that further bodily sacrifice had been involved, though this was not established as fact 210.
The Dwarf Race’s progenitor ultimately proved responsible for scheming against him and leaving him shattered. Earlier suspicions that the progenitor had deliberately lured the Evil God into the universe remained conjecture 206 249.
Survival in the Dwarf King’s Hammer
The first Dwarf King unknowingly incorporated one of the Forging Throne’s core fragments into the Dwarf King’s Hammer. This made the demigod artifact the starting point of his revival and established him as its first-sequence master, ahead of its artifact soul, Ailande 79.
He spent most of this period asleep. After the hammer shattered in battle and Ailande descended into madness, he eventually awakened and restored her sanity. Surveying Blue Water Star afterward brought Jiang Ziliu to his attention 79.
Contract with Jiang Ziliu
The Forging Throne identified Jiang Ziliu as an opportunity to reverse his situation. Jiang Ziliu nevertheless questioned the dangers of becoming involved with him and insisted on controlling how their recovery plans proceeded. The Forging Throne accepted these conditions, admiring his resistance to temptation 80.
Probability Judgment returned a 97.3% chance that the Forging Throne sincerely wished to become Jiang Ziliu’s fourth contracted beast. The contract was directed through the Dwarf King’s Hammer into the hidden core fragment. Because the resulting feedback would overwhelm Jiang Ziliu and reveal the Forging Throne’s existence, he sealed it 80.
The relationship became more than a recovery arrangement when the Forging Throne recognized that Jiang Ziliu’s actions were changing humanity’s fate. He began sincerely acknowledging Jiang Ziliu as his master and urged him to rescue a besieged base’s remaining inhabitants 107.
Final Confrontation
After Jiang Ziliu reached Origin Rank, he could locate the remaining fragments directly through their contract. The final two were held by the Dwarf Race’s progenitor, who had become the Ancient Battlefield’s eternal guardian and secured the protection of the universe’s will 249.
Unable to take revenge without confronting that protection, the Forging Throne accepted the returned fragments and departed. He also chose not to retaliate against the Dwarf Race or reclaim its forging talent. He subsequently completed his restoration in Jiang Ziliu’s Divine Kingdom 249.
Appearance
The Forging Throne initially manifests as a mysterious golden throne with an open golden divine eye. He considers the throne his original form and disdains adopting another shape 120 153.
- Golden throne and divine eye: These remain his actual core, even after he reconstructs a humanoid body 243.
- Restored humanoid form: A seated figure with a burning fire eye between his brows and a hammer in hand; both the figure and hammer form parts of his true body 243.
- Concealed damage: His early manifestations appear complete despite his fragmented condition. Jiang Ziliu only recognizes the missing chair leg after finding it separately 202.
- Soul-affecting form: Prolonged contemplation of his form can strengthen a viewer’s soul, but also makes that soul subject to his influence to a degree 120.
Personality
The Forging Throne combines pride in his primordial identity with respect for practical judgment. Although powerful enough to influence the beast-taming contract, he accepts Jiang Ziliu’s insistence on directing his own growth. He increasingly admires his master’s caution, patience, and refusal to surrender control over important decisions 80 107 113 122.
His relationship with Jiang Ziliu prompts self-examination. After being challenged over interference in Jiang Ziliu’s path, he wonders whether his own failure to hold firmly to his Dao contributed to his ancient defeat 122.
Recovering knowledge of his past reveals a strongly responsible, self-sacrificing disposition. He comes to recognize that his efforts to protect others left him vulnerable, and contrasts his fate with the Ancient Tortoise of Time’s safer, uninvolved existence. Nevertheless, when given an opportunity to punish the defenseless Dwarf Race, he declines 210 249.
Abilities & Skills
Forging Authority
Forging is the root of his Origin Rank power. All related rules support and extend that central origin 244.
- Artifact creation: Can forge the myriad things of the world into artifacts and shape them into desired states 203.
- Transformation of living beings: Residual power from his ancient battle can turn intruders into top-tier Demigod Artifacts, preserving their divine souls as artifact souls 203.
- Equipment enhancement: Upgrades existing equipment into top-tier Demigod Artifacts comparable to the demigod ninth stage 187.
- Purification: Hammers Dragon Death Baleful Intent out of true dragon blood and seals the extracted power inside a crystal 120.
- Spatial construction: Proposes forging a single-use spatial gate capable of forcing entry into a Dungeon Space, though its use would trigger resistance requiring suppression 134.
- Concealment constraint: Forging equipment directly while incomplete risks leaving recognizable traces of his rules. Modifying existing artifacts is less conspicuous 187.
Origin Divine Power and Feedback
His initially incomplete King-Rank Origin Divine Power is one of the few abilities Jiang Ziliu’s information panel can safely display 80.
- Feedback sealing: Suppresses both life and skill feedback when Jiang Ziliu cannot withstand them. Maintaining the seal imposes a significant burden 80 81 96.
- Released feedback: Once Jiang Ziliu enters the Planetary-Rank God realm, the Forging Throne’s feedback raises him to the peak of its ninth stage 222.
- Forging-based reinforcement: Particularly strengthens Jiang Ziliu’s divine spark, Divine Kingdom, and Divine Arts, which can be treated as products of forging 222.
- Support for other beasts: Contributes origin essence alongside the other two Kings of Origin to help A Kun, Lady White, and Thousand Faces survive Divine Fire and form Divine Sparks 227.
- Undisclosed abilities: Additional skills remain hidden because learning about them at an insufficient life level may cause unknown information hazards 80 161 166.
Perception, Fate, and Concealment
His senses extend far beyond ordinary physical sight, and he can recognize changes in fate and fortune 107 113.
- Remote observation: Examines the injured soul within Broken Ridge Academy’s Tree of Life despite intervening distance and barriers 113.
- Fate interpretation: Recognizes that Jiang Ziliu’s actions have diverted humanity from an unfavorable course and accumulated substantial human fortune 107.
- Identity protection: Helps shield Jiang Ziliu against divination and conceals his identity during Lady White’s dragon transformation 113 129.
- Self-concealment: Claims that even another King of Origin would struggle to discover him when he deliberately hides; the mysterious reborn girl nevertheless detects both him and his contract 154.
- Fragment detection: Can sense the approximate locations of other fragments once his condition improves 208.
- Limits: In his damaged state, cannot identify people hidden inside Dungeon Spaces or guarantee that powerful beings will not perceive Jiang Ziliu’s thoughts 131 171.
Illusory Training and Rule Instruction
He provides both simulated combat experience and direct access to the rules embodied in his own existence 97 206.
- Illusory battlefield: Creates a training region inside the Dwarf King’s Hammer where Jiang Ziliu and his beasts fight numerous kinds of enemies 97.
- Precision training: Helps Jiang Ziliu develop fine skill control, including electromagnetic acceleration of flying knives along irregular trajectories 125.
- Shared vision: Allows Jiang Ziliu to witness the underlying transformations involved in advancement from Diamond to Supreme Rank 115.
- Rule contemplation: Exposes patterns on his recovered body for study, helping Jiang Ziliu reach the demigod ninth stage and his three principal beasts reach the sixth stage 206.
Technical and Resource Knowledge
His accumulated knowledge supports Jiang Ziliu’s cultivation, infiltration, and beast evolution 113 134 143.
- Soul-repair formula: Supplies a remedy for a person whose injured soul has kept them asleep for nearly two centuries. Some memories will be lost; Jiang Ziliu assesses each prepared dose at a 96.7% success rate 113.
- Dragonification guidance: Identifies the need to weaken true dragon blood with a bloodline-degrading material before using it in a potion 120.
- Demon capture: Explains the use of Bone-Dwelling Foul-Smelling Devil Fungus and teaches a secret soul technique for collecting it 134.
- Beast-Taming Space evolution: Provides knowledge relevant to using dead stellar core fragments in a Stellar Space Potion 143.
- Knowledge gap: Despite his age, initially knows little about Divine Arts developed later by gods and takes an interest in studying them 212.
Equipment / Creations / Resources
- Dwarf King’s Hammer — Demigod artifact containing his surviving core fragment and a small world used for storage, training, and Jiang Ziliu’s early development 79 81 97.
- Divine Hammer — Origin Divine Ship forged by him. Bringing it out, activating it, and enabling its recognition of a master greatly depletes him; a non-core fragment aboard later assists his recovery 156 167.
- Suo Weilanya forging inheritance — One of his core fragments created the lineage’s elven-longbow forging inheritance approximately four million years earlier 185.
- Creation-category origin liquid — A mysterious girl’s gift capable of awakening him, but containing a hidden mechanism. Jiang Ziliu postpones using it and instead supports his natural recovery with Elemental Crystals 155 156 166.
- Black hole blood silver — Essential reconstruction material that devours Divine Power. Jiang Ziliu purchases 100 kilograms, alongside other materials sufficient to restore one-fifth of his true body 235.
Relationships
- Jiang Ziliu — Beastmaster, student, and eventual restorer. Their initially practical arrangement develops into sincere recognition and mutual care; Jiang Ziliu later supports his advancement to peak Sovereign Rank 80 107 249 252.
- Ailande — Artifact soul of the Dwarf King’s Hammer and its second-sequence master. He restores her sanity and lends her power to assist Jiang Ziliu 79 92.
- Qingling — Artifact spirit of Divine Hammer, who regards him as her master. She safeguards information about the fragment aboard the ship even after Jiang Ziliu contracts him 167.
- Ancient Tree of Wisdom — Fellow contracted King of Origin. Helps break the golden eye fragment’s seal, while resources from his treasure vault enable the Forging Throne’s bodily reconstruction 232 243.
- Ancient Tortoise of Time — Fellow contracted King of Origin. Supplies the power needed to retrieve the chair-leg fragment and prevents information or power from leaking during later restoration work 206 232.
- Dwarf Race’s progenitor / Dwarf Ancestral God — Enemy responsible for scheming against him and exploiting his origin. Returns the final fragments after securing protection as the Ancient Battlefield’s eternal guardian 206 249.
- Ancient Tree of Wisdom’s future beastmaster bond — The Forging Throne guides Jiang Ziliu into Blood Soul Land to find the tree as his fifth contracted beast 143 167 170.
Recorded Favorability toward Jiang Ziliu
