The task was very simple.

Simple enough to be like an ordinary courier: receive the package, deliver it, and the task was complete.

Yet this seemingly simple task concealed many horrifying things, as well as rules that were never clearly stated.

For example, they could not tear up the letter, or they would suffer an attack from a ghost.

For messengers, being attacked by a ghost even once was fatal. But if they could endure that attack, it meant they had refused that delivery task. However, tearing up letters could not be repeated. Otherwise, the ghost that appeared would become more terrifying each time.
