Abandoned City District

The next day in Dachuan City.

Yang Jian set out from the airport and drove toward the Fierce Ghost Zone recorded in the city archives.

Fierce Ghost Zone was merely the codename for a supernatural incident. In reality, it was an old district in Dachuan City that had yet to be demolished. A supernatural incident had occurred there, and its previous person in charge, Li Lepeng, had sealed it off.

There were quite a few people in the car.

Li Yi, Liu Qingqing, and Yang Xiaohua had chosen to come along. The remaining two were Yang Jian and Li Yang.

That made five in total, all of them messengers from the Ghost Post Office.

This was both a collaboration and a rather difficult letter-delivery mission.

Because Ghost Shadow Head had been successfully contained yesterday, the dangers around the outskirts of Dachuan City had been dealt with. The strange things haunting the city had vanished completely today. Yet at the same time, the city had fallen into deathly silence, utterly devoid of life.

The streets were empty, and even the air carried a faint stench of corpses.

This supernatural incident had dragged on for too long. It had clearly begun as a C-class supernatural incident, but after spiraling out of control, the threat it posed was nearly on par with an S-class supernatural incident.

"This city is finished." Li Yang sat in the passenger seat, looking outside as he sighed.

Having once been trapped in the Ghost Painting world, he had experienced something similar.

"Not necessarily." Li Yi spoke from the back. "There should still be living people. When we passed by earlier, I thought I saw shadows moving behind some nearby windows."

"There are indeed still survivors, just not many. Besides, this city isn't finished. Didn't the files say that
