As Pyp's head rolled to the ground, the undead warrior finally fell silent, his body collapsing at Jon's feet, becoming a lifeless pile of corpses. Benjen roared in fury, grabbed a heavy, burning log from the nearby campfire, his eyes blazing with rage, and hurled it at the towering figure of the Others. For a fleeting moment, a glimmer of hope flashed through his mind; the flames of the burning log suggested that the Others might share the same weakness.

But as the fiery bullet hurtled through the cold air, its heat quickly waned in the face of the Others' terrifying presence. By the time it reached its target, the flames had been extinguished, leaving only embers and wisps of smoke.

With a hollow "bang," the extinguished piece of wood struck the Others's cold armor, leaving a faint black mark on its gleaming surface. He grinned triumphantly and began to walk towards them. All hope began to crumble. Jon and Benjen could not accept this fate, and they roared as they charged at the Others.

The Others paid no heed to their swords. He grabbed Jon's sword with his hand and kicked him several meters away. Jon was gasping for breath from the wind. As Benjen struck him, the Others, oblivious, stabbed him in the shoulder with his sword.

The Others turned to Jon, slowly approaching him, its icy gaze fixed on Jon's fragile body, preparing to deliver the final blow. A sudden commotion shattered the eerie silence. A sharp whistling sound tore through the frigid air, growing louder and louder as time passed.

The Others keenly sensed the impending danger. He looked up and saw a massive stone statue flying towards him. He leaped swiftly, dodging the imminent threat. The statue crashed to the ground with a deafening roar that echoed across the desolate land.

As Aermir rode on Sith at top speed, he swept across the land like a hurricane. When Sith grew tired, he would transform into a bird and continue flying. When Sith had rested enough, he would summon her again and ride on her once more. In this way, he advanced toward Jon's party at top speed. At that moment, Skadi's voice echoed in his mind.

"Master, the Others have caught up with them. I've used all my companions to slow them down, but it's not very effective. I'm left with only one person to scout."

He was close to success, but it was too late; they had no chance against the Others. From what he had seen in his dream, the Others were weaker than his familiars in one-on-one combat; level 2 or 3 spells or Valyrian steel could defeat them. But ordinary beasts and humans were no match for them.

"Master, he didn't kill them immediately. He and his beasts are toying with them."

A glimmer of hope ignited in Aermir's heart, and he forced his wings to fly faster. "Come on, let's keep playing with them!"

Aermir could see them, but the situation was dire; he had stabbed Benjen and was about to kill Jon. Aermir had to resort to some desperate measures. He folded his wings and began to swoop down like a peregrine falcon. Just as they were about 100 meters apart, he reverted to human form and, within seconds, coated himself with a polished layer by every possible means, encasing his body in Stoneskin.

With a loud thud, he plummeted onto the field like a shooting star. As he crashed into the unforgiving earth below, his body was encased in a protective shell of stone. Upon impact, he managed to roll over, mitigating the crushing effect, but Aermir's legs still bore the brunt of the impact, aching from the weight of his fall. Yet, despite the searing pain coursing through his body, he remained resolute; the only thing supporting his legs was that layer of stone.

The Others are not mindless undead like wizards. They are living beings, and this particular Others Others young, only a few hundred years old. A few wizards and healers in the Free Folk settlements have dealings with the Night's King Night's King, offering him a child each year for conversion. Therefore, they can be considered half-human, and not entirely the same as the Night's King.

The Others realized the creature before him was far more powerful, but he was under orders from the king to kill every human they encountered. Jon was the reason he hunted them. But a new enemy posed a greater problem. On this side of the Wall, he had never encountered a sorcerer as powerful as himself. He had to kill both of them.

The Others, not wanting to give Aermir any time to breathe, charged at him. Aermir raised his hands, which began to glow orange. Sensing the magic in the air, the Others's eyes widened in shock, and he pulled out the ice shield hanging on his back.

Aermir began to spew flames from his hands, engulfing the Others in a sea of fire. The ice shield held up, so Aermir freed one hand from the spell and cast a wind spell to nourish his flames, making them even more ferocious.

Flames and howling winds roared together, shattering the ice shield, and the force of the explosion shoved the white zombie against a large rock. Just then, Aermir began casting healing spells on his legs. The spider stopped fighting Eddard and Sam and leaped toward Aermir, but shards of ice began flying from the bushes at the monster, inflicting numerous minor injuries.

Skadi managed to catch up with Aermir and continued bombarding the spider with ice shards, keeping it from making any rash moves. Aermir turned his attention to Benjen and cast a healing spell on him as well. At that moment, the white White Others stood up and immediately hurled an ice spear at Aermir.

Aermir controlled the earth, raising an earthen wall in front of him. The spear successfully pierced the wall, but got stuck. Aermir slammed his hands together and then made a forceful movement.

"Incursus Tegon!" ( Earth Impact Wave )

The earthen wall in front of Aermir exploded like a Claymore mine, sending large chunks of stone hurtling towards the white zombie. He clasped his hands together, forming a Fireball about a meter in diameter, and then began to exert force until the Fireball solidified into a sphere the size of a human head. Aermir waved his hands, beginning to change the shape of the Fireball and adding rotation to it.

The ball transformed into an arrow, and just as the Others rose, Aermir unleashed the spell. The Others tried to dodge, but the spell was too fast and struck its right shoulder. Upon impact, an explosion tore off half its torso, instantly killing it.

As the Others exploded, blue blood and pale blue flesh splattered everywhere. The icy light in the white zombie's eyes vanished, and then its body began to peel away, turning into tiny ice particles. Driven by the wind, all the ice particles began to scatter, leaving no corpse behind.
