Li Qiang built a following in Gusong, pursued Mei Jingjing’s parents, and became entangled in the struggle over the Wrath of the Heavenly God. After An Lang and Situ Yong captured and transported him to Tanbang Star, Li Qiang began challenging the rulers of its Black Prison.

• Li Qiang traveled from Earth to Heavenly Court Star, advanced his cultivation, and began making allies after arriving in Hanlin City.
• Li Qiang defended Hanlin City from En Gang’s Black Banner Army, then accepted an imperial summons and gathered Zhao Hao, Mei Jingjing, and Zheng Peng around him.
• Li Qiang reached the capital, became Gusong’s envoy to Litang, and later used diplomacy and intelligence to help Gusong avoid war.
• Li Qiang left the capital with Mei Jingjing and Zhao Hao to find Mei Jingjing’s parents, surviving attacks by Lei Tianxiao and the Five Heaven-Burning Envoys before becoming trapped in the Star Palace.
• Li Qiang met Mo Huaiyuan, escaped the Star Palace, and joined Hua Meiniang and Qin Xiaohuan as Baihuang’s subordinates pursued cultivators’ Nascent Souls.
• Li Qiang reached the Frozen Plain, reunited with Zhao Hao and Mei Jingjing, and helped the group fight off Qiaqia Ice monsters before they continued toward Rejuvenation Valley.

• Li Qiang was sent to Tanbang Star and imprisoned in the Black Prison, where he protected Qiao Yuhong and declared that he would take control from the local boss.

Li Qiang led the prisoners out of Black Prison, gathered a new following, and pursued sea agate while navigating the Western Continent’s trade and political conflicts. The arc ended with plunderers trapping his group in a formation and wounding Paben, driving Li Qiang into a rage.

• Li Qiang took control of the prisoners, broke through the seal on his Nascent Soul, and led companions through the tunnels to escape Black Prison.
• Li Qiang organized the escaped prisoners into a fighting force, helped them repel Black Camp soldiers, and reunited with Hou Pijing and Fu Shan before the survivors were evacuated.
• Li Qiang stayed behind to seek sea agate, settled with his followers near Great Gorge Mouth, and began training them while planning a trip to Fengnan City.
• Li Qiang joined Princess Lanqiu’s delegation and confronted the Banshou Trading House after Paben recognized Bu Jigong as the man who had ruined his family.
• Li Qiang arranged armor and weapons for his men, studied Kubo’s Linked Beads, and agreed to travel with Kubo and Hong Qian toward ruins in the Western Continent.

Li Qiang escorted Princess Lanqiu across the Sea of Wronged Souls, was separated from her party in a storm, and reached Heavenly Melody City by way of a dangerous sea passage. There, he reunited with Old Man Kabaji and helped Tianhong descend into the Ice Eye, where they found a trapped loose immortal in the Mystic Suppression Pagoda.

• Li Qiang defeated the Banshou Trading House raiders, saved Paben with the Death-Averting Pill, and prepared to escort Princess Lanqiu to Heavenly Halberd Peak.
• Li Qiang and his companions fought Tante Kingdom forces near South Mouth Pass, drove them back, and reached Desperation Cape after finding civilians killed near Fengnan City.
• Li Qiang joined Princess Lanqiu’s party aboard the Flying Hook Chain, but a storm separated him from the vessel after he helped rescue survivors and fought a Taimeng Beast.
• Li Qiang boarded Zegu’s arrow boat, subdued raiders, and guided the damaged vessel through a reef formation to a teleportation platform that led to Heavenly Melody City.
• Li Qiang passed the city’s musical tests, reunited with Old Man Kabaji, and learned that Heavenly Melody City’s seal could be broken through a secret chamber beneath the Ice Eye.
• Li Qiang showed Tianhong the Empty Sound Fork, agreed to help him enter the Ice Eye, and promised Zegu and Kabaji that he would help them return home.
• Li Qiang descended into the Ice Eye with Tianhong, Geng Feng, and Huang Yan, overcame icy dangers, and reached the Mysterious Domain Secret Chamber.
• Li Qiang and the others collected six Law Treasures and discovered that a loose immortal was trapped above them, then Geng Feng opened the way for him to descend.

Li Qiang reunited with his companions and traveled into the Western Continent, where he fought the Beast-Splitting Tribe and a succession of monsters while investigating the Wild Plains’ soul-harvesting plots. After the Great Soul Refining Formation was destroyed, he became trapped beneath the sealed heartland and met Gu Mei’er, who joined him as he tried to find a way out.

• Qi Junsha accepted Li Qiang as his disciple, helped free the Mystic Suppression Pagoda, and joined Li Qiang and Geng Feng on their journey to find their friends.
• Li Qiang reunited with Hong Qian, Zhao Hao, Nashan, and the others, then led an expedition toward the Wild Plains and defended settlements from attackers and soul-stealing forces.
• Li Qiang and his companions joined Zhutou’s caravan, fought the Beast-Splitting Tribe’s monster attacks, and endured heavy losses before Li Qiang defeated the cultivators who trapped him in the Myriad-Layer Great Formation.
• After the caravan survived the assault, Li Qiang investigated Andu Central Stockade and followed a procession of walking corpses into the Great Soul Refining Formation.
• Divine Envoy Kaben, Geng Feng, and other cultivators destroyed the formation with Heaven-Smiting Thunder while Li Qiang pursued the Overwhelming Annihilation Devil Wand underground.
• Li Qiang reached an ancient fortress beneath the Wild Plains, met the spirit-body cultivator Gu Mei’er, and offered to help her cultivate and remain safe.
• Gu Mei’er became Li Qiang’s sworn little sister and named the little sea demon Blue Light, then guided him to a collapsed passage that Li Qiang began clearing with the Star-Absorbing Sword.
