Marco suddenly understood what Kazu was saying.
He couldn't persuade his Pops to listen, but now that Kazu had spoken up, his Pops couldn't just remain indifferent.
" Kazu, my Phoenix Flames isn't a panacea. It's indeed incredibly effective at treating superficial wounds, but for old injuries and certain diseases, Phoenix Flames effectiveness is greatly reduced, requiring advanced medical skills and precious medicinal herbs to heal them."
"Although I have learned a great deal about medicine over the years, those precious medicinal herbs are not so easy to find."
"Our Whitebeard Pirates searched the New World extensively, but we still couldn't collect all the medicinal herbs."
"So, my Pops's health has just been dragging on like this, and all I can do is try to slow down his deterioration."
Marco explained their current predicament to Kazu, hoping that Kazu could understand the reality of the situation and try to dissuade his Pops.

Marco was pleased to see that Kazu was also concerned about his Pops's health.
She smiled gently and said, " My Pops's main ailments are old injuries and internal organ diseases. He needs thirty-five kinds of medicinal herbs, and we have found thirty-two of them. We still haven't heard anything about the last three."
"The missing medicinal materials are Red Sun Grass, Seven-Colored Lingzhi, and Fortune and Auspiciousness Root."
Marco was just saying it casually, as a last resort. What if Kazu really had it? That would be a huge windfall.

Kazu remembered that the limitation of this Medicine-Medicine Fruit seemed to be that one had to know what the herb looked like in order to conjure it.
Otherwise, even if Makino is holding a potato, she wouldn't have a specific image of the herb in her mind.
"Yes, it's on the Moby Dick."
"That's good. Go get it quickly, I need it urgently."
Upon hearing that there really was a Pokédex, Kazu hurriedly urged Marco to bring it to him.
"No problem, please wait for me a moment."
Marco put down his wine bowl, conjured Phoenix wings, and flew towards the Moby Dick.

"I wonder, maybe he needed to pee but was too embarrassed to go to the toilet on the Divine Dragon."

Within a minute or two, Marco flew back, holding a thick herbal medicine guide, which he handed directly to Kazu.
Kazu took the encyclopedia and looked at it, discovering that Marco had already marked the three herbs; he probably dreamt about them every night.
"My darling Makino, look at these three things, can you conjure them up?"
"Okay, I'll give it a try."
Makino looked at the picture, then picked up an apple, closed her eyes, imagined what the herbs looked like, and activated her Devil Fruit power.
A green light shone on Makino, and a few seconds later, the apple in her hand slowly began to change shape, appearing exceptionally mysterious under the green light.
As the green light faded, the apple in Makino's hand had turned into a bright red blade of grass, which, upon closer inspection, looked exactly like the Red Sun Grass in the encyclopedia.
"This is..."
Marco, standing to the side, was stunned. He never expected that this green-haired girl would have such abilities; she was practically the goddess in the hearts of all the doctors.
Even Whitebeard and the captains stopped their playful antics and stared intently at Makino.
This girl is amazing! Her Pops's illness can finally be treated. This is wonderful!
"Haha, my darling Makino is amazing!"
Kazu took the Red Sun Grass, put his arm around Makino's waist, and kissed her on the cheek, making Makino blush.
" Kazu, there are so many people here, be serious for once."
Seeing Makino's shy expression, Kazu laughed out loud twice.
Then he handed Makino a banana and an orange.
Makino understood immediately and activated her Devil Fruit power.
Before long, the Seven-Colored Lingzhi and the Fortune and Auspiciousness Root appeared in her hands.
Kazu took it and handed it to Marco, saying, "The medicinal herbs are all ready. Now it's up to you."
Marco excitedly took the herbs and carefully placed them into three jars.
"Wait for me a moment. The rest of the medicinal herbs are on the Moby Dick. I'll be able to make the medicine to treat Pops right away."
After saying this, Marco, who was excited, did not hesitate for a moment and immediately flew back to the Moby Dick to get busy.
