Restoring his identity

Shinsei's Sage Mode tutorial isn't something you can easily obtain.

Hidan's memories are a combination of various versions.

It wasn't just about Might Guy's personality; Shinsei needed a loyal subordinate. So, after discussing it with Sasuke, he combined Hidan's experiences to create a version of his memories.

This method certainly has some flaws, but these flaws are beyond the comprehension of someone like Hidan.

It's perfectly normal for a slightly discordant memory to appear during such a dangerous mission as infiltrating the Jashin.

Shinsei stepped forward and removed the shackles from Hidan's wrists.

Hidan wiped the tears from his face with his sleeve and pulled Shinsei into a tight embrace.

Shinsei instinctively wanted to resist, but then controlled his body, letting Hidan hug him.

"It's so good to see you again!" Hidan's tall frame hugged Shinsei tightly. Shinsei patted Hidan's back in return.

"It's good that you're back. Congratulations on completing your mission. You are a hero of Konoha."

Hidan shook his head. "I'm not a hero. I've done so many wrong things. If it weren't for Shinsei, you awakening my memories, I would have continued making mistakes."

"This isn't your fault. No one can predict what will happen during a mission. Don't stay here, we'll go help you restore your identity."

Hidan released Shinsei, stood up straight, grinned, flashed his big white teeth, and gave a thumbs-up, saying, "I, Hidan, have returned to Konoha! This is youth!"

Sasuke couldn't help but smile as he looked at Hidan's signature Might Guy expression. The other ninjas in the room also wore strange expressions.

Shinsei led Hidan out of the room. As they passed another room, seeing Deidara imprisoned behind bars, Hidan couldn't help but say to Deidara:

" Deidara, as my comrade from the wrong period, if you are willing to repent and behave well, I will use my merits to plead with the Lord Hokage to release you."

Deidara stared at the freed Hidan, his face filled with disbelief. "Damn it! Hidan, you actually betrayed the organization?"

Hidan shook his head. "I was originally a Konoha ninja, how could I betray the organization? Now I've finally completed my mission and returned to Konoha. This is youth!"

Deidara looked like he'd seen a ghost, completely unsure what to say to Hidan.

Shinsei looked at Deidara and wanted to give him a similar makeover.

Unfortunately, Deidara had other uses.

The Five Kage Summit is about to be held. After meeting the Tsuchikage, exchanging Deidara for a Ninjutsu shouldn't be too much to ask, right?

The Tsuchikage had long wanted to capture his precious disciple, and Shinsei was also eyeing the Tsuchikage's Ninjutsu, Light-Weight Rock Technique. If he could obtain that Ninjutsu, his physical speed would increase significantly.

Even without using the Flying Thunder God, he could be considered the fastest Shinobi World.

If a dispensable Deidara could be exchanged for that Ninjutsu, it would become an important part of building his own Ninjutsu system.

He possessed Earth Release Chakra, and among Earth Release Ninjutsu, there were only a few that he considered worthy of his Ninjutsu, with the most important of them being the Light-Weight Rock Technique.

After all, how could someone called an immortal not know how to fly?

The two Tsunade were playing cards in the room, with stacks of banknotes piled up in front of them.

Since Tsunade from another world came to visit, the Hokage version of Tsunade has rarely gambled in casinos.

After all, consistently losing is far more appealing than having a 50/50 chance of winning or losing.

After Shizune dealt the cards, the Hokage version of Tsunade picked up her own cards.

The two were fascinated by the Texas Hold'em game that Shinsei had taught them, a game that combined luck and psychological warfare.

A three and two twos—this Tsunade in the Hokage version of the game couldn't help but curl her lips into a smile.

It's a pair! This kind of hand is quite rare.

"One thousand taels." The Hokage version of Tsunade tossed over a banknote.

The younger version of Tsunade looked at the Hokage version of Tsunade suspiciously. Could it be a trap? She picked up her cards.

One two, two threes. A smile involuntarily crept onto my face—it was a pair! This kind of hand is quite rare!

"I'll take it!" The younger version of Tsunade also tossed out a banknote.

Neither of them would back down, and the table was quickly piled high with banknotes.

In their gambling careers, pairs are considered high-ranking hands, while the legendary straights and flushes only appear a handful of times.

A knocking sounded at the courtyard gate.

" Lady Tsunade, I'll go Gate of Opening." Shizune stood up and quickly walked to the courtyard gate.

Upon opening the door, they found Shinsei standing there with someone else.

It was Hidan from Akatsuki? But Shizune didn't ask any more questions and led the two into the room.

After a brief moment of surprise upon seeing Hidan, the two Tsunade quickly became engrossed in their card games.

"You go first!" the Hokage version of Tsunade couldn't help but say.

"Why should I?" the new version of Tsunade retorted defiantly.

"I was the one who paid 1,000 taels first!" said Hokage, the Tsunade.

The younger version of Tsunade did the math and realized it was true. Since they were on the same side, there was no need to haggle over it; it was only 1000 taels.

She threw 1000 taels onto the table and reluctantly began to play her cards.

Tsunade stared at the opposing team of one against three. "How come you're a pair?!"

The younger version of Tsunade looked at the couple opposite her and couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Admit it, I am the gambling god of Konoha."

The Hokage version of Tsunade was unconvinced and urged Shizune to continue dealing the cards.

Shinsei coughed twice to remind them not to neglect themselves.

"Why did you bring Hidan here?" Tsunade, in her Hokage version, asked.

Shinsei winked at the two Tsunade and introduced them to:

"This is my comrade Hidan. He lost his memory while on a mission, but with Sasuke's help, he has regained it and is now going to reclaim his identity."

As Shinsei spoke, he explained to Hidan, " The Lord Hokage has only recently taken office and hasn't yet come into contact with the secret mission you're carrying out."

Hidan nodded in understanding. After all, the top-secret mission he was carrying out was arranged by the Third Hokage, so it was normal for Lady Tsunade not to know about it.

The two Tsunade looked at Shinsei with strange expressions, casting questioning glances at him.

After seeing Shinsei nod, the Hokage version of Tsunade said to Hidan, "I will restore your identity. Thank you for your hard work, Hidan!"

Upon hearing the Lord Hokage's words of encouragement, Hidan felt tears welling up in his eyes. All the grievances he had suffered vanished in that instant.

Tears streaming down his face, he said, "I don't feel it's hard work for the village. This is my youth."

Upon hearing the word "youth," both Tsunade wore even stranger expressions.

Shinsei created a Shadow Clone and took Hidan out to arrange accommodations for him.

After he left, the Hokage version of Tsunade pulled Shinsei over, clamping his head between her right hands and gripping his temple with her left.

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"

"You still feel pain? Hmm? You're playing with fire, kid!"
