Uya, Ain, Kuina, and Camie arrived at Fish-Man Island, where a band of fish-men mistook them for mermaid kidnappers and attacked. Kuina disarmed the attackers with one slash, leaving them stunned by her strength and by the group’s ability to remain underwater without a coating bubble.
Uya and his companions confronted Hody Jones and the New Fish-Man Pirates beneath the sea, where Ain erased a herd of attacking sea beasts and Kuina killed the charging fish-men. Uya then took his group onward to Fish-Man Island.
Ace was defeated by Blackbeard Teach on Banaro Island and delivered to Marine Headquarters, where Sengoku ordered his public execution. Meanwhile, Uya finished arranging his constructed world and planned to move the Yarukiman Mangroves before the gathered Supernovas stirred the new era at Sabaody.
The Supernovas gathered on Sabaody Archipelago as the Marines prepared for Whitebeard’s coming battle, while the Straw Hat crew learned that Ace would be publicly executed. Hawkins’s cards predicted they would meet a big shot, but the chapter ended before he discovered who it was.
Uya arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago, where Hawkins and other pirates recognized him and felt the overwhelming pressure of his presence. Uya began clearing the island, using four tremors to throw everyone into the sea and destroy every building, leaving the 79 Yarukiman Mangroves intact.
Uya made the Sabaody Archipelago vanish by sending it into his own world, leaving the Supernovas and their crews stunned. Luffy's group failed to break into Impel Down, then headed for Marine Headquarters as the Summit War preparations continued with four Seven Warlords of the Sea present.
Uya, Kuina, and Ain secretly watched the Summit War begin as Whitebeard attacked Marine Headquarters with a seaquake. Aokiji froze the resulting tsunamis and then launched an attack at Whitebeard.
Kuina appeared at the Summit War and cut apart Hawk-Eye’s sword slash before it could reach Whitebeard. Her unexpected arrival left the battlefield wondering who she was, while Smoker and Tashigi recognized a resemblance to Tashigi.
Kuina challenged Hawk-Eye at Marine Headquarters and proved to be a formidable swordswoman, drawing his full attention. Their duel was interrupted when the Thousand Sunny fell into the harbor with Luffy and his crew, who joined the battle to reach Ace.
Kuina and Hawk-Eye resumed their duel with powerful clashes that sent waves of sword energy across the battlefield, disrupting the Summit War and injuring fighters. As they remained focused on each other and kept fighting, Kizaru and others prepared to intervene.
Uya appeared at Marineford, stopped Kizaru, and restored the damaged battlefield before taking a place above the execution platform. He allowed the war and Kuina and Hawk-Eye’s duel to continue, leaving both Marines and pirates wary of his intentions.
Kuina and Hawk-Eye fought to a near-draw, with Kuina gaining a slight edge because her sword damaged Black Blade Yoru. Hawk-Eye yielded the title of world's greatest swordsman to her and left the Summit War, while Kuina joined Uya at the execution platform, where he asked Fire Fist Ace if he understood.
Ace discovered the meaning of his existence and broke free of his Seastone handcuffs after Uya released him. Whitebeard split the battlefield so the Whitebeard Pirates could retreat, then stood alone against the Marines and their three admirals.
Ain restored Whitebeard’s body to its prime, and he defeated the Marines at Marineford before dying after destroying much of the island. Uya left One Piece and returned to the world of Naruto, eager to see Kushina and his daughter Yuxi.
Uya was appointed captain of Konoha’s Genin forces despite the others’ doubts, then led them to the battlefield in the Land of Rain. As the Konoha and Iwagakure Genin forces charged toward each other, Uya advanced to the front, and the battle began.
