Regardless of what Li Bo said, Zhang Yong continued his heartfelt declaration of love.

It looked like that brother-in-law of his, Lu Chi, really had taken the money and gotten to work.

Pretending he hadn't seen Lu Sangning, Zhang Yong continued his heartfelt declaration:

Li Bo stared speechlessly at Zhang Yong.
This fucker really had no fucking shame.
Li Bo lunged at Zhang Yong to grab the loudspeaker, and the five employees he'd brought joined in.
As he did, Li Bo berated Zhang Yong. "Who in all of Jing City doesn't know you were engaged to Miss Lu Sangning, yet went sneaking around for a taste elsewhere a month before the wedding? What are you playing the devoted dog for now?"
Zhang Yong acted as though he hadn't heard Li Bo. No matter how they tried to wrest it away, he clung desperately to the microphone.
"Sangning, I was once a lofty young master too, but for you, I can throw away all my dignity. Even if the whole world points in my face and curses me, I'll still bravely tell you that I truly, truly love you."
"Sangning! Please! Will you see me?"
To seize the loudspeaker, Li Bo and his five employees pinned Zhang Yong firmly to the ground.
Some yanked his hair; others clawed at his face.
Zhang Yong's four employees hurriedly threw themselves forward to help him.
The whole group erupted into a brawl.
The scene was an utterly hopeless mess.
Lu Sangning walked up to the community gates and, seeing the group wrestling together, was momentarily bewildered.
She'd originally heard Zhang Yong howling like a ghost at the community gates from inside her home and had intended to bring her bodyguards over, give him a thorough beating, and throw him far away.
Now, seeing that property management had already stepped in and started fighting, she found herself with nothing to do but stand to one side and watch the spectacle.
Lu Chi also watched the scene excitedly.

Li Bo finally snatched Zhang Yong's loudspeaker away, too.

Li Bo tossed his hair, which had been clawed into disarray, and cursed fiercely. "Your engagement's already been broken off, yet you're still shamelessly begging here! If you knew it'd come to this, why did you betray her in the first place?! Pah, pah, pah! You're a disgrace to us men!"
Zhang Yong clambered up from the ground in a sorry state, swept his gaze around, then suddenly stared at Lu Sangning in shock.
Scrambling and stumbling, he rushed over to Lu Sangning, his voice thick with tears. "Baby, I knew you couldn't bear to see me suffer. You'll definitely give me a chance to make things right, won't you?"
Two bodyguards stepped forward and pressed down on Zhang Yong's shoulders, one on either side.
One of the bodyguards kicked him twice in the knees, and Zhang Yong dropped straight to his knees.
Lu Sangning raised her right foot and hooked the toe of her black high heel beneath Zhang Yong's chin, forcing him to lift his head and look up at her.
Lu Sangning laughed. "That's right. I couldn't bear to see you suffer, so I came to laugh at you!"
