Kotori insisted on joining Tomoe Gozen and Ritsuka Fujimaru’s delegation to negotiate with Quetzalcoatl, despite the mission’s dangers. After traveling through the southern jungle, the group reached Eridu and found a cheerful, bustling city unlike the ominous headquarters they had expected.
Ritsuka Fujimaru found that Quetzalcoatl's territory, Eridu, was a peaceful city, but discovered Ishtar bound to a stake in the central square. After Quetzalcoatl defeated the group without killing them, Ritsuka asked Kotori to send her to confront the goddess, and Kotori threw her toward Quetzalcoatl.
Ritsuka convinced Quetzalcoatl to make peace with Uruk, though Quetzalcoatl refused to help fight the Goddess of Demonic Beasts because of the Three Goddesses Alliance's pact. Afterward, Ritsuka freed Ishtar, who angrily confronted Quetzalcoatl for tying her up.
Ritsuka’s group freed Amakusa Shirou and arranged to bring Marduk’s Hand Axe back to Uruk with Quetzalcoatl’s help. They set off by pterosaur with Ishtar, Amakusa, and Quetzalcoatl joining them, leaving Eridu behind with the giant axe in tow.
Ritsuka Fujimaru and the others returned to Uruk with the Axe of Marduk, having rescued Ishtar and Amakusa Shirou Tokisada and persuaded Quetzalcoatl to stop attacking the city. Gilgamesh held a victory feast, but Kotori Itsuka stayed home, while the wounded Gorgon remained in her temple, unable to heal her burns.
Kingu used Solomon’s Holy Grail to heal Gorgon, who then summoned a host of Greek monsters, including a mysterious girl that made the other beasts recoil. The next morning, Ritsuka Fujimaru and her allies flew toward Gorgon’s temple to attack, sensing powerful magical energy as they approached.
Ritsuka Fujimaru and her companions reached the temple, where Gorgon revealed a host of summoned Greek monsters and an unknown figure named Typhon. When Typhon unleashed a world-threatening thunder Authority, Kotori Itsuka transformed into Astral Dress: Elohim Gibor to face her.
Kotori Itsuka blocked Typhon’s attack and shielded the others from its explosion, but Typhon transformed into a stronger dragon-like form. The two faced each other in midair as Typhon announced that the real battle was beginning.
Kotori and Typhon fought in an escalating midair clash that carried them away from the battlefield, while Ishtar and Jaguar Man faced new opponents. The chapter left Ishtar preparing to confront Gorgon and Jaguar Man under attack after a shield intervened.
Ritsuka used a Command Spell to restore Ishtar’s strength, allowing the goddess to unleash Mountain-Range Quake: Firewood of the Star against Gorgon. Gorgon was defeated and vanished, her remaining power flowing into Ana, while Kingu and the demonic beasts were left behind.
Kotori and Typhon continued their battle over the ocean as Tiamat awakened from Merlin’s dream after Gorgon’s death and began producing Lahmu. At Gorgon’s temple, Ana absorbed Gorgon’s memories while Merlin suddenly doubled over.
After Merlin vanished, Ritsuka Fujimaru and her companions learned that Beast II, Tiamat, had awakened and was the Seventh Singularity’s true final enemy. As they returned to Uruk to warn Gilgamesh, Chaldea detected the Beast’s manifestation, and Ana revealed that the mysterious being fighting Kotori was Typhon.
Tiamat emerged in her enormous true form, but her Black Mud repeatedly restored the damage Kotori and Typhon inflicted. Typhon used her Noble Phantasm to erase Tiamat and strike Kotori, whose body and Spirit Core were left shattered.
Kotori recovered from Typhon’s planet-level attack, while Tiamat was reborn after her conceptual death, leaving the three powerful beings unable to kill one another as the Chaos Tide spread. In Olympus, Zeus sensed Typhon in the Seventh Singularity and casually struck at the source of his revulsion.
Zeus destroyed Typhon with a single punch, leaving Kotori to flee from Tiamat as the goddess and her Lahmu pursued Uruk. Chaldea warned Ritsuka that Tiamat would reach the city within forty-eight hours, while Kotori returned to Uruk ahead of her and found her room empty.
Kotori waited for Tomoe Gozen to return to Uruk, while Ritsuka Fujimaru’s group reported to Gilgamesh that Beast II, Tiamat, had awakened. At the war council, Roman explained that Tiamat could only be destroyed if all life on Earth died before her.
