Chapters 201–225 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 201The easygoing Miss Satan

Lord El-Melloi II met Origami to learn her intentions and discuss the Holy Grail War, and concluded that his group should avoid provoking her. After the visitors left, Origami returned to watching anime while Gray remained puzzled by the unusual magical energy in Origami’s wings.

  • Lord El-Melloi II told Origami that the number of Servants suggested a hidden, true Holy Grail War, and said his group would not oppose her.
  • Origami agreed not to kill Lord El-Melloi II’s students if they followed the rules, then listed several dead Servants and warned that Sajyou Manaka was a nuisance who knew her identity.
  • Flat questioned Origami about her Atheism and projectiles, but she declined to explain how they worked.
  • Lord El-Melloi II, Flat, and Gray left the building, and Lord El-Melloi II decided they should keep their distance from Origami.
  • Gray sensed that Origami’s retracted wings held magical energy unlike that of any Servant she had encountered.
  • Origami switched back to cartoons and relaxed on the sofa.

Ch. 202A challenge at dusk

Origami arrived at the lake west of Snowfield City after sensing a deliberate challenge from Sajyou Manaka and her allies. She damaged the Bull of Heaven, but Hassan and Richard interrupted her follow-up attack, leaving the battle ongoing.

  • Origami brought Tiné to the western lakeshore and protected her inside a barrier before facing Sajyou Manaka, Richard, Hassan of the Zealot, and the Bull of Heaven.
  • Sajyou Manaka ordered the Bull of Heaven to attack, and Origami fired Metatron: Crown Cannon at it.
  • The Bull of Heaven dodged most of the beam, but the blast evaporated its right hind leg.
  • Hassan of the Zealot threw the Kanshou Sword at Origami to disrupt her next shot, but her Astral Dress deflected it.
  • Richard charged Origami with the Crimson Heaven Sword, forcing her to stop charging Kadour, then fired repeated arrows that bounced off her Astral Dress.

Ch. 203We were all trying hard to stay alive~

Origami’s enemies used lightning, stealth, and a Magecraft barrier to land a powerful collision, but her Astral Dress left her unharmed. As the battle continued, other forces in Snowfield City watched or moved toward the fight, and Origami prepared to take the attackers more seriously.

  • Richard and the Bull of Heaven obscured Origami’s vision with lightning while Hassan of the Zealot attacked her repeatedly, but her ten wings of light blocked every strike.
  • Sajyou Manaka placed a non-divine Magecraft barrier over the charging Bull of Heaven, allowing its collision to send Origami flying into abandoned buildings without bypassing her Astral Dress.
  • Students of the El-Melloi Classroom watched the battle from a temporary base, while Hippolyta wanted to join but followed her Masters’ orders to stay away.
  • Alcides, possessing Bazdilot Cordelion’s body, headed west toward Origami to seek revenge for his death.
  • Origami recovered, identified Sajyou Manaka’s barrier tactic, and said she would not be caught by it again.

Ch. 204Alcides's surprise attack

  • Origami Tobiichi’s dark energy formed a black orb, from which the seven-crowned demonic dragon Satan emerged.
  • Satan’s roar forced Richard and Alcides to the ground and made the Bull of Heaven tremble, while Sajyou Manaka recognized the dragon as Satan.
  • Satan’s declaration of arrival sent a pillar of dark-red flame skyward and disabled surveillance across the western battlefield.

  • Satan’s Blazing Flame of Purification destroyed the Four Horsemen’s bodies, but their conceptual foundations survived, so it used the Crown of Sloth to put them to sleep.
  • The Four Horsemen summoned a being to protect the innocent lamb, offering their powers, concepts, and existence in exchange for an angel’s descent.
  • At the official base, Orlando and Faldeus struggled to understand the western battlefield’s overwhelming energy, while Lord El-Melloi II looked to Gray for help.
  • Gray uncovered Add and chanted as it released its restraints and transformed into the Holy Lance Rhongomyniad.
  • Gray fired Rhongomyniad at Satan, and its spiraling pillar of pale golden light pierced the demonic dragon.

Ch. 208The Ice Spirit

Yoshino was summoned to the battlefield, where her merciful power neutralized the demonic dragon’s despairing flames and restored the city’s people. She learned that Tsubaki needed protection and that Origami was inside the dragon’s black sphere, then sent Zadkiel to shield Tsubaki with armor.

  • Gray’s Holy Lance failed to harm the demonic dragon, and Lord El-Melloi II realized its Atheism rejected the products of God and the Age of Gods.

Ch. 210[God's Atonement]

The demonic dragon concentrated the power of its seven Crowns of Deadly Sin into God's Atonement, forcing Yoshino to make a desperate stand. The beam broke through her defenses and struck Siryon, leaving Yoshino curled up at the center of a collapsing ice sphere.

  • Yoshino summoned Zadkiel, which became Siryon armor, then built a vast ice sphere and layered ice walls between herself and the demonic dragon.

  • God's Atonement struck Siryon as the ice sphere collapsed, leaving Yoshino curled at its center.

Ch. 211Clash of Spear and Shield

Yoshino and Demon Dragon Satan were dragged to the Reverse Side of the World as their clash shattered reality and left a growing dimensional rift behind. Crimson Moon summoned Aoko Aozaki, who used the Fifth Magic to send the rift into the distant future and restore the sky.

  • Yoshino kept repairing Siryon's armor as it endured Demon Dragon Satan's attack, until their clash shattered the world and sent them to the Reverse Side.
  • A dimensional rift remained on the real world's side and began devouring matter, so Crimson Moon tried and failed to seal it with Marble Phantasm.
  • Crimson Moon summoned Aoko Aozaki and explained that the rift threatened to consume the world.
  • Aoko agreed to help in exchange for a favor and activated the Fifth Magic.
  • Aoko compressed the rift and its destructive power into a ball, then hurled it into the distant future, restoring the sky.

Ch. 212Origami awakens

Aoko transferred the crisis into the future and returned to her cold oden, while Yoshino endured Demon Dragon Satan’s attack until it weakened and then entered the black sphere to find Origami. After Satan admitted it had punched a hole in the world and opened a rift back to Snowfield City, Yoshino was suddenly summoned away, asking Origami to take care of Tsubaki.

  • Origami received the Throne of God from her guardian and summoned it beside her, where its sacred light repelled Ereshkigal’s attacks.
  • Ereshkigal guessed that Origami might be connected to Kether and offered to release the Servants’ souls in exchange for peace.
  • Origami refused to accept Ereshkigal’s fearful plea and sat on the throne.
  • Ereshkigal summoned Gilgamesh (Old Gil) and Ishtar, lifted Gilgamesh’s restrictions, and returned Ishtar’s Authority.

  • Ereshkigal teleported herself, Old Gil, and Ishtar away from Origami’s projectile, but the blast wave still caught them and devastated the Underworld.
  • Ereshkigal raised layers of spear cages while Old Gil summoned defensive Noble Phantasms, then used Akhilleus Kosmos to shield the three inside a miniature world.
  • After the explosion subsided, Old Gil questioned Ereshkigal’s choice of opponent, and Ishtar identified Origami’s throne as His throne.
