" Scabbers!"
Ron just come down the stairs when he saw this scene. He immediately yelled and rushed over, his face pale, "Don't eat it!"
With a light leap, the Guantou stopped at Ron's feet, releasing Scabbers onto the floor.
"Don't worry, Ron," Morris's voice came from the sofa, "The mice aren't on the Guantou food recipe."
Ron frantically picked up the trembling Scabbers.
He glanced at the Guantou, still shaken, and turned to Morris. "What cat doesn't eat mice?"
"My cat doesn't need to eat at all," Morris shrugged, "But it will occasionally have a taste of cake and Fizzing Whizzbees."
"Ha!" Fred laughed loudly. "His taste is just like his master's."
Morris smiled slightly.
Although Guantou is an undead creature, it does sometimes eat food.
However, it does not need to excrete.
That's really strange.
Despite what Morris said, Ron still looked worried.
"I don't believe it," he muttered, clutching Scabbers protectively in his hands. "A cat is a cat. Even if it doesn't eat now, what if it suddenly wants a different flavor someday? I have to put Scabbers upstairs; it's safer there."
Ron ran upstairs and disappeared around the corner.
Guantou jumped onto Morris's lap, found a comfortable position to curl up, and barked a few times.
"You mean that rat wasn't an ordinary rat?" Morris asked.
The Guantou nodded.
"Is that so?" Morris seemed unconcerned. "Perhaps, after all, they're just rats in the Wizarding World."
Honestly, he wouldn't be surprised if Ron had kept a yellow rat that could generate electricity.
Seeing that its owner wasn't interested, the Guantou food stopped mentioning it.
"Dinner's ready, kids!" Molly's cheerful voice came from the kitchen.
In the afternoon, the twins enthusiastically showed Morris their various gadgets.
Like Skiving Snackboxes - many new varieties have been added.
There are also fake wands that look just like real wands, but turn into rubber chickens or socks when used.
Of these, Morris was most interested in an unfinished prop called the Portable Swamp.
In the twins' vision, the Portable Swamp could instantly create a large swamp area, complete with frogs and weeds.
Unfortunately, current Portable Swamp can only produce a small puddle of sticky, suspiciously colored mud, and the effect is extremely short-lived.
Morris suggested that they could stuff a few Dungbomb into the swamp.
The twins readily accepted.
In addition, Mr. Weasley returned to the Ministry of Magic, reportedly to deal with the complaints and reports about the misuse of Muggle items that had piled up during his vacation.
When he returned, he approached Morris with a very serious expression and led him to the backyard.
"What's wrong, Mr. Weasley?" Morris asked, puzzled.
Arthur looked at him seriously. " Morris, I just received word that Harry is currently staying at the Leaky Cauldron?"
"Yes," Morris nodded.
"Then why is Harry here with you? Ah, I certainly welcome you, but these are special times," Arthur lowered his voice, " Sirius Black looking for Harry everywhere!"
"I haven't heard of that before," Morris said.
Logically, that makes sense.
Sirius was Voldemort's henchman, while Harry was the boy who defeated Voldemort.
Escaping from prison for revenge is perfectly reasonable.
From this perspective, Sirius Black was indeed a loyal subordinate.
If he were Voldemort, he would be very moved.
"We must send Harry back to the Leaky Cauldron; only there can he be protected by the Ministry of Magic," Arthur said firmly.
"Leave it to me, Mr. Weasley, don't worry." Morris said calmly, "My ship is safe. Unless Sirius Black can fly, he won't be able to catch us."
Arthur nodded, his face still full of worry. " Harry needs to know this. He needs to understand the danger he faces."
As night fell, Morris and Harry returned to the Ship in a Bottle and quietly took off.
Morris stood on the deck, gazing at the stars in the night sky, letting the night wind blow wildly, making his long-uncut hair a mess.
" Morris, I have a question," Harry suddenly asked, "Why can we feel the wind outside when we're inside the bottle?"
"Good question, Harry."
Morris leaned against the side of the boat and explained, "Actually, this is a completely enclosed space. The wind you feel, and the air you breathe, are all transferred in from the outside using special magic."
"Transfer?"
Harry's face showed even deeper confusion.
Morris nodded. "Yes."
He paused, then looked at Harry. "Do you need me to explain the principle in detail? It might be a bit long, as it involves a lot of theoretical knowledge."
Harry quickly shook his head. "Uh, forget it."
Morris's explanations were always very dry and extremely difficult to understand.
Most people wouldn't understand it.
Although we don't know how they did it, it must have been a very complex magic.
"Where are we going now?" Harry asked.
"Let's go back to that island," Morris said. "Even if the Ship in a Bottle has invisibility, we can't just stop anywhere."
He really wanted to create a magic spell for the Ship in a Bottle that would allow it to change size, so he could put the bottle in his pocket.
Unfortunately, he can't do that yet.
During the flight, Harry repeatedly seemed about to say something but then stopped himself.
After noticing this, Morris asked, "Are you worried about Sirius Black?"
Harry paused for a few seconds before replying in a low voice, "A little."
He had already heard from Mr. Weasley that Sirius Black hunting him down.
Morris said, "At least you don't have to worry about being attacked on my ship. Even if Black shows up, I have the ability to protect you."
His tone was very natural, as if he were stating a fact.
What a confident person!
Harry looked into Morris's silver-grey eyes and felt slightly relieved.
When will he be able to understand the other person's mindset?
The two soon landed on a deserted island.
After disembarking, Morris Apparition with Harry and returned to Diagon Alley.
Diagon Alley remains lively at night, with people coming and going on the streets.
Harry walked through the crowd, still feeling uneasy from Apparition, his steps unsteady.
"This way," Morris advised.
He gestured for Harry to follow, and the two walked along the slightly crowded street toward the Leaky Cauldron.
The Guantou nimbly weaved between pedestrians' legs and feet, attracting no one's attention.
Harry breathed a sigh of relief as he pushed open the door to the Leaky Cauldron.
