Tom, who was behind the bar, noticed Harry and hurried over to greet him.

"Where have you been, Harry? Minister Fudge came to see you personally half an hour ago, looking terribly grim. And two Auror too; they searched your room upstairs and all the nearby shops!"

Harry's heart skipped a beat upon hearing this.

He now fully understood his situation: a vicious fugitive was searching for him, while the Ministry of Magic was protecting him.

His sudden departure today has likely caught the attention of the Ministry of Magic.

"I was just strolling around town," Harry replied casually. "I didn't keep track of the time."

Tom gave him a long look and smiled. "That's good, son. Do you need something to eat or drink? You don't look too well."

"No need, thank you."

Harry turned to Morris. "Shall we go to my room?"

"Next time, Harry." Morris waved his hand. "I have other things to do. Get some rest, goodnight."

"I understand. Thank you, Morris. Good night."

Morris turned and walked Leaky Cauldron.

A few minutes later, he turned into a quiet, deserted alley.

This place is far from the main road of Diagon Alley, and it's not the road leading to Knockturn Alley either.

The area was lined with abandoned shops, piles of garbage along the walls, and was dark with a stench of decay permeating the air.

Morris stopped and raised his left hand.

On the back of his hand, an intricate magic circle was emitting a faint glow.

This is precisely the magic circle for Fixed-Point Teleportation.

Morris has already set his sights on his Ship in a Bottle.

He can teleport away anytime, anywhere, whenever he wants.

Of course, you can use Apparition, but it might make you a little dizzy.

Just then, his owl Yanhua flew down from the night sky, landed on a nearby abandoned wooden barrel, and cawed twice towards the alley entrance.

Morris narrowed his eyes, instantly understanding the message the Yanhua conveyed: someone was following him, and two of them at that.

He did not immediately go to investigate, but simply lowered his raised hand without making a sound.

"You followed me all the way from the Leaky Cauldron?" he asked in a low voice.

The Yanhua nodded gently.

Morris had a pretty good idea of who it was— Auror from the Ministry of Magic.

Even before he entered the Leaky Cauldron with Harry, he noticed that someone among the people drinking around them had been watching them.

Unexpectedly, the other party followed them out.

Clearly, the Auror were there to investigate him.

Morris suddenly became interested; this was his first time getting so close to Auror.

He wanted to test whether he could handle Auror.

Let's play a little game then.

The moment the pursuers reached the alleyway entrance, Morris shouted without warning, "You two idiots!"

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly started running and rushed into the depths of the alley.

This move clearly caught the trackers off guard.

The two Auror looked at each other, made a strange gesture, and immediately followed, launching a pursuit.

All of this was silently observed by the Yanhua hidden in the darkness.

Auror shouted sternly, "Wizard ahead, stop immediately! Auror, routine check!"

A spell shot out, grazing Morris's side and leaving a huge spider web on the wall.

This is clearly a type of magic specifically designed to capture or trap a target.

Unfortunately, it missed.

Morris smirked and continued running.

The chase continues.

He didn't stop until two minutes later.

Because in front of him was a very high stone wall, covered with thick moss and damp.

Oh, what bad luck, a dead end.

With his back to the high wall, Morris slowly turned around and silently watched the approaching Auror.

Two Auror, seemingly a man and a woman, stopped a dozen feet away from him, maintaining a safe distance.

After a standoff of about five seconds, one of the male Auror finally spoke, "Sir, why are you running? It's just a minor check-up, we won't hurt you. Cooperate, come with us, it'll be over soon."

Morris was unwilling to end the game so easily.

He feigned panic, drew his wand, and pointed it at the two Auror, "You're bad guys! I'm going to fight back!"

The male Auror was taken aback.

He had seen Morris walk out of the Leaky Cauldron with his own eyes and knew that the other was just a naive teenager.

"We are Auror from the Ministry of Magic, sir." The male Auror tried to make his tone sound gentle. "Please calm down and put your wand down."

"No... I don't believe it!" Morris stubbornly shook his head. "Why would Auror chase me so late at night?"

"No need for all that talk!" the female Auror hissed impatiently, raising her wand. " Expelliarmus!"

A dazzling red light illuminated the surroundings, shooting directly at the wand in Morris's hand!

" Protego!"

Morris chanted an incantation, and a silver barrier instantly unfolded in front of him.

The Disarming Charm and the Shield Charm collided, producing a muffled thud.

As for the result...

The red curse scattered and dissipated into the air like water hitting a rock.

The female Auror's impatient expression vanished, replaced by disbelief.

A seemingly young and inexperienced boy was able to unleash such a high level of Shield Charm to block her sudden attack.

She dared to say that even her partner could only barely reach that level.

"Oh dear, you started it." Morris's wand pointed steadily at the two Auror. "I need to protect myself."

At this moment, both Auror were on edge, staring intently at Morris.

They knew that the person in front of them was no ordinary person.

Suddenly, their expressions changed almost simultaneously, and they reacted in exactly the same way.

" Protego!"

" Protego!"

The instant the barrier took shape, two extremely fine wisps of gray mist arrived silently and collided with it.

"Oh?"

Morris raised an eyebrow.

Those two wisps of gray smoke were actually his Weakening Curse.

It was blocked.

His curse is not unstoppable; it's just that ordinary people rarely react to it.

Clearly, these two Auror possess some skill.

sure.

But it didn't work.

The two Auror looked extremely grave; they hadn't even seen how the other had launched the attack!

"This is the final warning," the female Auror said coldly, "Put down your wand and cease all resistance! Otherwise, we will consider you an extremely dangerous target and take all necessary measures!"

Morris tilted his head, said nothing, and simply snapped his fingers.

"Smack!"

The sound was exceptionally clear in the quiet alley.

The next second, three towering skeletons appeared out of thin air, blocking his path between him and the Auror.

They wielded enormous, menacing weapons, and sinister flames burned in their eye sockets.

" Merlin's beard!"

The male Auror gasped.
