After Fred cleaned himself up, everyone sat down together again and started talking about the Portable Swamp.
According to the twins, they found the recipe in a tattered book from a Restricted Section of the library.
However, the current Portable Swamp is a prank version that they have optimized and modified, removing many of the deadly elements.
The original version is far more ruthless; it's not only more difficult to make, but also much more lethal.
" The Restricted Section?" Neville's voice changed. "You've been to the Restricted Section?"
"That's normal," Fred said matter-of-factly. " Morris goes there every day."
"Not that frequently," Morris said calmly.
Neville's expression immediately became complicated.
What's the situation with the people around him?
This is a violation of school rules!
However, if it were Morris, he would certainly have had a compelling reason to do so.
Yes, that must be it.
"Did you keep that book?" Morris asked.
"It's right under my bed," Fred chuckled. " Madam Pince hasn't found it yet. I can lend it to you anytime you need."
"That would be perfect," Morris said.
He was indeed very interested in this.
Then, the topic shifted to Meditation.
According to Morris, all three of them had successfully sensed Mental Power.
Fred took forty days, George forty-one days, but Neville was the fastest, taking only thirty days.
Although none of them could compare to him—he succeeded on his first try.
But this at least shows that the wizards of this world can indeed master Meditation techniques.
"Did you feel comfortable when you Meditation?" Morris asked. "Was it smoother when you cast spells afterwards?"
The three looked at each other.
Fred scratched his head. "It does feel good... a little bit. My mind is definitely clearer after each Meditation session, but I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect."
George nodded in agreement. "As for the spell, there doesn't seem to be any noticeable change."
Neville gave a similar answer, saying he didn't feel any significant improvement.
Morris seemed lost in thought.
It seems that Meditation has different effects on different people.
He recalled that after his first Meditation, the effects were almost immediate.
My headache is gone, my backache is gone, and I'm more comfortable using magic now.
That feeling was particularly strong, especially in the first few times.
Perhaps, this is talent.
"Keep trying, don't give up just because you don't see results yet," Morris said, his tone unusually serious. "I'm sure this will benefit you in the future."
Fred and George immediately stood up straight, gave a proper salute, and said in unison, "Yes, Captain!"
They trusted Morris; since he was so certain, he was probably right.
Seeing this, Neville also awkwardly saluted, which made the twins burst into laughter.
Three days later, in his dormitory, Morris was looking through the book the twins had given him.
The book is titled " The Guide to Making Deadly Swamps ".
A very simple and clear title.
As the title suggests, the content teaches you from beginning to end how to create a deadly swamp.
The process was ridiculously complicated, involving dozens of different types of magic.
The version made by the twins was clearly a simplified version that couldn't be simplified any further.
The original swamp also features spikes, venom, corrosive acid... and all sorts of cruel designs.
Just imagine how painful it would be for someone who fell into such a swamp.
Even Morris found it somewhat cruel.
Killing is not cruelty.
No wonder this book was placed in the Restricted Section.
However, to be fair, this thing does have great potential.
Morris also planned to study it carefully to see if he could improve it in some interesting way.
But not now.
All he wants now is to go downstairs and have a hot breakfast.
Morris closed the book, got up, changed his clothes, and walked out of the dormitory.
Several Ravenclaw students were already reading in the common room, and they greeted him when they saw him come out.
Good morning, Morris.
"Morning."
I didn't see you at the library yesterday, where did you go?
"I occasionally need to rest in the dorm."
He seems to be exceptionally popular lately.
The reason is obvious.
An older girl approached him with a smile, " Morris, can I come aboard your ship?"
Morris turned to look at her. "I'd love to, but it might be a while; I have other things to do."
He was busy cooking.
The girl was a little disappointed, but still nodded, "Okay then."
Morris smiled slightly, which made the girl a little stunned.
She watched Morris's retreating figure for a long while before she reacted, muttering softly, "He's actually quite handsome when he smiles..."
While I was eating at the restaurant, an unexpected person came to the door.
As Snape passed the Ravenclaw Table, he stopped and said, " Black, come to the Potions Classroom at noon."
Morris turned his head. "Just call me Morris, Professor."
Snape frowned slightly, but did not refuse.
"That's fine," he said. "Then, Morris, you'd better arrive on time."
After saying that, he turned and left, walking out of the restaurant.
Are you and Snape on good terms?
The one who spoke was Kyle, who was standing next to Morris, and he looked puzzled.
"Not bad," Morris replied casually, continuing to eat his breakfast.
He was quite happy to get along with the Potions Class professor.
Although Snape was acerbic and always spoke in a sarcastic tone.
However, when evaluating a person, we should look at what they do more than what they say.
For Morris, Snape was helping him most of the time.
Although he tried to be subtle, he was able to sense it.
Teach him about Potions, answer his questions, give him extra help, and be more lenient with him than with other students when he makes mistakes.
From this perspective, Snape most likely held a liking for him, aside from the fact that he was quite close to Harry Potter.
At noon, Morris walked into the Potions Classroom on time.
Snape was standing in front of a table, arms crossed, clearly waiting for him.
On the table sat a clean, gleaming crucible, next to which a pile of raw materials were neatly arranged.
At a glance, all the materials were of very high quality, and there were even bottles of liquid labeled " Dragon Blood ".
"Professor," Morris stepped forward and asked, "Do you want me to brew some kind of Potions?"
Snape nodded slightly, his face expressionless, and said, "It's time to challenge ourselves with something more difficult. Today's topic is Wolfsbane Potion."
Morris paused for a moment.
He had heard of this Potions, which was specifically used to help Werewolf maintain their sanity on the night of a full moon.
"So sudden?" he asked.
Snape smiled, a rare occurrence for him. "Perfect for you. Give it a try; I've already done the most time-consuming part—processing the materials."
Morris didn't seem to care.
Although I don't know what's going on, I'll just do it anyway.
Being able to test my skills with so many high-grade materials is a huge win!
