After dealing with the bone prison, Moody smiled cruelly, preparing to continue the attack, when he suddenly felt an inexplicable resistance.
He subconsciously looked down and saw several dark ropes, like shadows coalescing, silently wrapped around his limbs, almost blending into the darkness.
Moody was startled.
I was careless!
He had no idea when these things had gotten all over him.
In the instant he was stunned, another black rope sprang out from the shadows, wrapped around the wand in his hand, and yanked sharply.
The wand flew from his hand.
Moody watched helplessly as his wand was flung toward Morris by that strange rope.
Morris caught it and extended his right hand at the same time.
The Yanhua emerged from the darkness, landed on his arm, and even brushed against his cheek.
Moody glared menacingly at the owl that had suddenly appeared, its eyes blazing with blue fire.
"Well done," Morris said softly.
What just subdued Moody was the ability to Shadow Manipulation of Yanhua.
Yanhua let out a soft cry and turned to look at Moody.
The various shadowy ropes around Moody immediately tightened, pulling him toward the side corridor.
"Bang!"
His back slammed heavily against a stone pillar.
Moody winced in pain, letting out a muffled groan and gasping for breath. He tried to break free, but couldn't move.
The shadowy ropes wound around the stone pillar, binding his body tightly to it, with even his neck constricted by a thin black rope, forcing him to barely lift his head.
Morris strolled slowly up to Moody and stopped two steps away.
As the moonlight shone down, Moody raised his head and stared intently at Morris; the prosthetic eye had stopped moving.
"Who exactly are you?" Morris asked.
Moody's, of course, wouldn't answer.
"Never mind."
Morris shook his head and took a bottle of Polyjuice Potion Reversal Potions from his pocket.
Fortunately, he had a habit of collecting various Potions.
This Potions is very rare; he spent a long time brewing it but only managed to make two bottles.
"Drink your medicine obediently."
He grabbed Moody's chin with one hand, forcing him to open his mouth.
"Wait"
Before Moody could finish speaking, Morris had already poured the liquid from the bottle into his mouth.
Moody coughed violently, his body convulsed, and his face began to contort.
A few seconds later.
The person bound to the stone pillar was no longer Mad-Eye Moody, but... who is this?
Morris stated that he did not recognize the person in front of him.
This was a man in his early thirties, with a haggard and pale face, gloomy eyes, and unkempt hair.
"Could you introduce yourself?" Morris said. "I don't think I've seen you before."
The man bound to the stone pillar did not answer, but his expression conveyed his anger and resentment.
The way he looked at Morris was like that of a wild beast.
Just then, the sound of footsteps approached.
Morris turned around and saw Fred and George running toward him. Dumbledore followed behind them with steady steps, with Madame Maxime beside him, and then Phoebe with a somber face.
They must have arrived immediately.
" Morris, I brought Dumbledore with me. What happened? Merlin, who is that?"
Fred's voice stopped abruptly when he saw the person tied to the stone pillar. He paused, and George, who was following behind, almost bumped into his back.
"He was Professor Moody a few minutes ago," Morris replied.
"?"
Fred scratched his head.
In fact, Morris was also completely confused and desperately needed someone to explain – that person was naturally Dumbledore.
Dumbledore didn't speak to Morris immediately, but went straight to the tied-up man.
After examining it carefully, he turned to Morris, his expression serious. "Tell me what just happened."
Morris did as instructed.
" Professor Snape asked me to guard his Potions supplies warehouse. When the ball started, I somehow sensed it had been burgled... I chased Professor Moody here, and he even used the Killing Curse on me, and then..."
" Killing Curse!" Madame Maxime covered her mouth, her eyes wide with shock. "He used that on you?"
Phoebe's expression also changed drastically.
The story felt somewhat unreal to her.
Morris ignored him and continued, "I blocked Professor Moody's attack, subdued him, and deactivated his transformation."
Dumbledore and said, "No wonder I didn't see Professor Moody at the ball."
"So who exactly is this guy?" Morris shrugged. "His magic is amazing; I think he's somewhat famous."
"This is Barty Crouch Jr. Crouch Jr.," Dumbledore said calmly. "The son of Barty Crouch Barty Crouch Sr.. He should be in Azkaban."
"A Death Eaters?" Morris asked.
Dumbledore nodded.
A brief silence fell over the room.
"So what was he doing sneaking into Hogwarts?" Morris continued to ask.
Dumbledore was silent for a moment, as if he were thinking.
"I don't know," he said. " Morris, do you carry a potion that makes people tell the truth?"
Morris blinked.
" Veritaserum?"
"Right."
Morris certainly brought it. He didn't say much, but took out a huge glass jar from his pocket. It was heavy, and the liquid inside looked to be nearly half a liter.
Dumbledore looked at the Veritaserum in his hand, then at him, raising his eyebrows slightly.
"I don't think I'll need that many," he said, his tone somewhat strange.
"It's better to be prepared." Morris said calmly.
Fred and George stood by, not daring to utter a single word.
Boss, don't you know this stuff is illegal?
Hurry up and put it away!
Morris took a small vial of the Veritaserum and handed it to Dumbledore.
Dumbledore took it and walked toward Barty Crouch Jr. Crouch Jr.
The small vial containing Veritaserum swayed slightly, shimmering faintly in the moonlight.
Barty Crouch Jr. Crouch. watched Dumbledore approach step by step, and a sudden surge of fear welled up in his eyes.
He began to struggle violently again, and the shadowy ropes tightened even more.
"I know nothing!" he suddenly said, his voice hoarse, "You can't do this to me!"
"Can you tell me something useful?" Morris said.
Once you drink the Veritaserum, no lie can hide from scrutiny.
Barty Crouch Jr. Crouch.'s gaze was fixed intently on Morris.
Then he smiled.
"Ha-ha--ha-yi"
The laughter seemed to be squeezed from deep within his throat, low and hoarse, echoing in the quiet courtyard.
"I've failed!" Barty Crouch Jr. screamed frantically, "But we haven't yet! Just wait, my master will return, and he will avenge me!"
As if realizing something, Morris quickly said to Dumbledore, "Stop him, Professor!"
However, it was too late.
As soon as he finished speaking, Barty Crouch Jr. suddenly tilted his head to the side, his whole body went limp as if his bones had been removed, and he stopped moving.
Dumbledore rushed forward, grabbed Barty Crouch Jr.'s chin with one hand, and pressed his wand against Barty Crouch Jr.'s temple with the other, muttering something under his breath.
But Barty Crouch Jr..'s body showed no reaction.
Finally, Dumbledore turned to the people behind him and calmly announced, "He's dead."
