Once ashore, Morris immediately cast Warming Charm and Drying Charm on Harry.
Harry suddenly felt as if he had been pulled in front of a brightly burning fireplace, a warm feeling seeping into his whole body.
Wizards are generally more physically robust than ordinary people, so even though it's the dead of winter, soaking in the water for a while won't make them sick.
"Thanks." Harry stretched his shoulders and put his robe back on.
Morris put the wand back on his waist.
At that moment, Hermione and Ron also came to greet them.
"You should have reminded us before we acted, Morris," Hermione glared at Morris, "I could help you if things went wrong."
"I like surprises." Morris shrugged.
Hermione was speechless for a moment.
All I can say is that it's very much in Morris's style.
Ron leaned in and asked about the important matter, "So, Harry, Morris, what secret is inside the Golden Egg?"
"A song," Harry held up the Golden Egg, "That howl transforms into a beautiful song underwater. We already know what the Second Task is about."
"What is it?" Hermione asked nervously.
"Hmm..." Harry paused for a moment, "According to the song, we have to rescue our most treasured possession from underwater, and we have one hour."
"Your most treasured possession?" Ron blinked. "What's that? Gold?"
Hermione glanced at Ron. "I don't think so."
"About that," Morris said, "We'll probably only know during the game."
He had absolutely no clue.
What are your cherished treasures?
After separating from the trio, Morris returned to the Ship in a Bottle.
As soon as he entered the living room, he saw Fred and George dancing joyfully, but their expressions were utterly desperate.
The Guantou perched on the sofa armrest, watching them, its tail swaying gently to the beat.
"What are you guys doing?" Morris asked.
Fred, looking embarrassed and panting, jumped up and down, saying, " George... lost to your cat in the duel, and we're being punished."
"You're the one who's dueling!" George pointed at Fred's nose. "I'm just the referee!"
Meow~
The Guantou licked its paws and waved them gently.
The twins stopped dancing instantly, collapsed onto the sofa, and let out a long sigh of relief.
Morris looked at the two of them with a chuckle, "You can't even beat my pet cat?"
Perhaps the Guantou goods are even more powerful than he imagined.
"I was just careless!" Fred defended himself righteously. "If it happened again, the result would definitely not be like this."
George ignored him and turned to Morris, asking, "By the way, Morris, how can your cat use magic?"
"That's a secret," Morris replied.
Guantou jumped off the sofa, strode up to the twins, bared its teeth at them, and acted all high and mighty.
Morris kicked it aside.
"Ah, we should go, George," Fred said suddenly, standing up.
George gave him a strange look. "Why the rush?"
Fred glanced at Morris and said, "Have you forgotten? We already have Professor Dumbledore; we're going over there today."
George suddenly realized.
You know what, he almost forgot about it.
Morris followed up by asking, "What does Dumbledore want with you?"
Fred gave a mysterious smile and lowered his voice, "The professor asked us to do a big project."
"A big project?" Morris raised an eyebrow.
"That's it," George chimed in, winking at Morris. "You'll see. Goodbye."
The two hurriedly left the Ship in a Bottle.
Morris was completely baffled.
The date for the second match of the Triwizard Tournament is fast approaching.
Over the next few days, the students started discussing the competition and who would win.
Based on his performance in the first game, Morris is clearly the top seed among the four Champion.
Finally, the morning of the competition day arrived.
I bet Morris will win!
As Morris entered the Ravenclaw common room, he heard Kyle Chesterfield announce to the crowd, "Anyone want to bet with me?"
Everyone smiled at him.
Everyone here naturally supports Morris.
Although not all Ravenclaw liked Morris, they were at least students in the same house.
If we don't support him, who else can we support?
A series of light footsteps came from the stairwell.
Professor Flitwick walked in.
"It's going to be a sunny day," he said happily as he approached Morris. "The match is about to begin, Morris. Let's go to the restaurant and grab something to eat first. Today's match will be tough; you need to conserve your energy."
Morris nodded. "I will, Professor."
"Good luck in the match," Professor Flitwick smiled with satisfaction, turned and took two steps toward the door, then suddenly stopped, turned back and instructed, "When the time comes, go to Black Lake; we'll be waiting for you there."
"Okay," Morris said.
Professor Flitwick's figure quickly disappeared.
Kyle leaned in and patted Morris on the shoulder. " Professor Flitwick is worrying a bit too much."
He glanced at the clock on the wall and said, "I need to get ready too. See you later."
Morris asked, somewhat puzzled, "What are you going to do?"
"Many people need my help." Kyle blinked and left the lounge without hesitation.
Morris watched his retreating figure, feeling that the guy was acting strangely today.
However, he didn't think much of it.
There are still two hours until the match... Hmm, I'll go to the library and read a book for a while.
With half an hour to go before the game started, Morris walked out of the library and stretched.
Madam Pince knew he was going to participate in the competition and had been kindly urging him to go and prepare as soon as possible.
She was unusually gentle today, even saying "Good luck" as he left.
Morris walked down the corridor toward the Black Lake, with Guantou following him at some point, along with Hermione's cat, Crookshanks.
When he arrived at the lake, he found that it had changed.
Several rows of seats had sprung up Black Lake, and the seats were already full of students, some of whom were holding flags with the Ravenclaw symbol and cheering enthusiastically.
Morris strode to the Champion' assembly area, where there was a very conspicuous table covered with a yellow tablecloth, the same color as Ludo's robe.
Harry, Phoebe, and Krum have arrived, and the referees are all in position.
To his surprise, since Barty Crouch had disappeared, he was replaced by Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Ministry of Magic.
