Following the song, Morris arrived at the very center of the Merpeople village, where there was a small square.

The square was paved with sand and smooth pebbles, and looked quite elegant.

In the center stands a statue of a very large Merpeople.

In front of the statue, a dozen Merpeople were gathered together singing the same melody that Morris had heard on the road.

From his perspective, although Merpeople are ugly, their singing voices are indeed beautiful and melodious.

Morris searched the vicinity and soon found the so-called "treasure".

Four people were tied to the tail of that giant Mermaid Statue.

Ron, Hermione, Kyle, and a seven or eight-year-old silver-haired girl.

So it turns out their treasure was actually the hostages.

"That's really nothing new," Morris thought.

The hostages were all close to the Champion.

Ron is undoubtedly Harry's target, Hermione is probably Krum, and the little girl looks similar to Phoebe, so they're probably related.

As for who he was trying to save, it should be Kyle, since Kyle was arguably his closest friend at Hogwarts.

Morris swam up to Kyle, looked him up and down, and found him in a very deep sleep.

He was probably the first to arrive.

With plenty of time to spare, Morris calmly summoned his bone blade.

The speed of the bone blades underwater was greatly affected, and the ropes binding Kyle were completely unaffected by the strike.

Morris frowned, then summoned a bone saw and finally cut the rope.

Kyle's body was freed and floated gently in the water. Morris reached out and grabbed his collar, and they began to retrace their steps.

On his way back, he encountered several other Champion.

Surprisingly, besides him, the fastest was Harry.

Seeing how Harry moved in the water, he immediately understood what was going on— Harry had turned his wand into a propeller, which must have been inspired by him.

"Sharp."

As Morris passed by, he gave the other person a thumbs-up, and the other person smiled and responded in the same way.

Next up was Krum, Krum approach was quite wizard-like. He transformed his entire head into a giant shark head, which looked both bizarre and comical.

Phoebe was only slightly slower Krum. She also used the Bubble-Head Charm, and in addition, her body was surrounded by a faint silver light. That light seemed to reduce water resistance, allowing her to glide through the water like a fish.

Phoebe naturally saw Morris as well.

Her gaze fell on Kyle, whose collar was being roughly pulled, and she looked quite surprised.

At that very moment, a large group of Grindylow sprang out from the seaweed behind Phoebe.

Those things lunged at the Phoebe with unmistakable speed.

Phoebe turned around abruptly, but it was too late; she felt something sharp grab her ankle.

" Weakening Curse!"

Morris made his move.

His victory was a foregone conclusion, so he was happy to lend a hand.

Several wisps of gray mist followed the water flow and entered Grindylow's body, immediately slowing the monsters' movements and causing them to slowly descend.

As she struggled, Phoebe felt the grip on her ankle loosen slightly. With a kick, she flung Grindylow, who was still dangling from her foot, away.

She looked at Morris with a complicated expression and mouthed, "Thank you."

Although she didn't know exactly what had happened, she was certain that the other person had helped her.

Morris telepathically reminded him, "You're last now. I'm the fastest, then Harry, then Krum. If you have any other trump cards, use them as soon as possible."

Phoebe bit her lip, revealing a resentful expression.

But the competition continued, and without lingering, she immediately swam towards the direction from which the singing was coming.

Five minutes later, Morris threw Kyle ashore.

Almost at the same moment, Kyle woke up, opened his mouth and spat out a small fish that was still thrashing about.

"Oh, that's terrible," he said, getting up and wiping his mouth. "When did I put it in my mouth?"

The only response he received was cheers from the audience.

He turned to look at Morris, who was ignoring him and casting Drying Charm, and smirked. " Morris, can you talk to me for a second? I'm in a huge crisis."

"Don't think I don't know you're safe down there." Morris shrugged.

After being exposed, Kyle smiled and said, "You got first place, didn't you?"

"Of course." Morris put down his wand and turned to head towards the judges' stand. "Let's go, we should go."

"I knew you could do it!" Kyle pumped his fist excitedly. "Wait for me!"

By all accounts, he could be considered to have participated in the Triwizard Tournament.

As Morris and Kyle approached, the expressions on the faces of the people in the referee's box varied.

Dumbledore and Fudge smiled and applauded for him, Ludo had already stood up, while Madame Maxime and Karkaroff stared intently at the crystal ball placed in front of them.

Ludo came up to Morris and patted him on the shoulder. "We all saw your performance, very good, Morris."

Morris nodded slightly, without saying anything more.

Ludo held up his crystal ball to Morris and Kyle, "Look at what's inside. Your opponents are still trying to save their people, and you're far ahead."

The image displayed in the Surveillance Crystal Ball was directly facing the Merpeople Square.

Harry had just rescued Ron and was swimming back with him; Krum was tearing at Hermione's ropes with his shark teeth; Phoebe had just arrived and was swimming straight toward the silver-haired little girl.

It looks like the competition won't end for a while.

Morris turned to look at the audience and saw that the same scene was playing from the giant balloons he had seen earlier.

"How was it?" A familiar voice came from behind, tinged with a hint of smugness. "What George and I put together, not bad, right?"

Morris turned his head.

Fred and George had somehow slipped down from the stands and were standing behind him.

The person who just spoke was Fred.

"Congratulations," George said, sucking on a candy. "Another win."

A dozen minutes later, Harry returned to shore and, as expected, came in second place.

Then it was Phoebe who overtook Krum.

Perhaps inspired by Krum or Merpeople, Morris noticed that when she came ashore, she transformed her legs into a silver fish tail.

But she was much prettier than those Merpeople.

Krum unexpectedly came in last place.

While Madam Pomfrey asked the Champion if they were feeling unwell, the referees announced the scores, rankings, and order of arrival.

Morris is in first place with 49 points.

Harry scored 45 points, Phoebe 43 points, Krum 42 points.

Apart from Morris, the gaps between the others were very small.
