"Can I change the outcome?" Morris asked, his expression somewhat strange.
How did this Prophecy get involved with him again?
"That's right." Dumbledore nodded, revealing nothing more.
Morris pondered for a moment, then asked, "Is this related to Voldemort?"
"I don't know," Dumbledore said calmly.
"Alright," Morris sighed, "I understand."
Although things have become more complicated, we can deal with whatever comes our way; there's no need to worry too much.
He believed he could handle it.
Dumbledore looked at Morris and gave him a satisfied smile.
He reached inside his robe and pulled out a long, thin, golden-red feather.
"If you encounter danger," he said, handing the feather to Morris, "Grasp this tail feather tightly; it's enchanted, and I'll come to your aid immediately."
Morris caught the tail hair.
Good luck in the game!
After saying those words, Dumbledore turned and left, and Fawkes disappeared into the horizon.
Morris then continued to tease the little Bone Dragon.
He pulled a few more Gap Energy Crystal from his pocket. "Come on, let me test your top speed."
Soon, Hogwarts ' exam week arrived.
During the exams, Morris was researching the Enslavement Mark magic.
It must be said that magic that is even remotely related to the soul is far more complex than other types of magic.
When Morris first learned this magic, he also spent a great deal of time constructing its spell model.
Now, picking it up again and studying it in depth, he realized that he had underestimated it.
Improving this magic is extremely difficult.
Fortunately, there was already someone with the Enslavement Mark by Morris's side, namely Tom.
He can do the actual experiment, using Tom himself as a test subject.
Over the course of several days, Tom was repeatedly abused.
Morris tried many modified marks on him, and after several rounds of experimentation, he became somewhat "listless" and even almost fell into a deep sleep.
This prompted Morris to suspend the experiment.
It wouldn't be good if we went too far.
After all, Tom is now considered one of our own.
"Put down your pen, the exam is over!"
At Snape's command, Morris walked out of the classroom.
What we just saw was the written exam for Potions Class, and it was also their last exam.
Kyle stretched beside him, his bones cracking.
"Finally over," he sighed, rubbing his hair. "What did you choose for question thirteen?"
"The third option," Morris said after a moment's thought, "Is to crush the pheasant's eyes and mix them with leech juice."
Kyle's face fell instantly. "I chose the other one."
Morris shrugged. "What a pity."
He knew Kyle always wanted to surpass him in exams, but because he always got full marks, he never achieved that goal.
Clearly, the other side failed this time as well.
The two walked out along the corridor, sunlight streaming in through the windows.
A Ravenclaw upperclassman walked over, patted Morris on the shoulder, and said, " Morris, go check out the Quidditch Pitch. There seems to be something there, probably related to the game."
"Oh, thank you."
Morris thanked him.
He immediately prepared to go to the Quidditch Pitch to take a look.
"I'm going back to my dorm," Kyle said. "Goodbye."
A dozen minutes later, Morris arrived at the Quidditch Pitch alone.
At the stadium entrance, he saw Harry, Ludo, and Mrs. Heap.
The three people were huddled together, chatting about something.
Ludo waved enthusiastically to Morris when he saw him, "Over here, over here."
Morris walked over and immediately smelled Mrs. Heap's strong perfume.
Harry frowned, mostly because of this.
"Hello," Morris greeted politely, then looked at Ludo, "What are you doing here?"
"You've come at the perfect time, Morris," Ludo said with a smile. "We were just about to call you to come and familiarize yourself with the venue. Miss Delacour and Mr. Krum came this morning, and now there are the two of you."
Morris nodded and asked, "Is the venue arranged here?"
"That's right, I should have told you that the final match will take place in a maze."
Ludo waved to the group, "Hurry up and go in, time is precious."
The group entered the Quidditch Pitch one after another.
The once open space has been completely transformed. Numerous low stone walls have been erected on the open ground, dividing the entire area into countless winding passages.
Ludo explained, "These stone walls will be raised later. Also, don't try to memorize the route now; to be fair, the route will be adjusted later."
Morris nodded, while Harry kept looking around.
" Mrs. Heap will fill it with dangerous traps and creatures," Ludo said excitedly. "I hope you're prepared."
"A dangerous creature?" Harry asked, his voice trembling. "What kind?"
"Well—" Ludo glanced at Mrs. Heap beside him, a mysterious smile spreading across his face, "In any case, you won't be disappointed."
Obviously, the details of the match cannot be revealed in advance.
The four of them wandered around the edge of the maze for a few minutes.
"See that empty space in the middle?" Ludo said. "That's your ultimate goal. A trophy will be placed there, and the first Champion to touch it will be the winner."
Morris looked in the direction he was pointing.
There was indeed an open space in the center of the maze, but nothing was placed there yet; only a bare stone platform stood in the very center.
"Of course," Ludo added, "You'll only see the trophy on the day of the match."
"Ahem." Mrs. Heap suddenly coughed abruptly.
Ludo immediately understood, clapped his hands at Morris and Harry, and said with a smile, " Morris, Harry, it's time for you to leave."
Next, Mrs. Heap and I will...
"Cough cough."
Mrs. Heap coughed again, interrupting Ludo.
Ludo immediately understood and changed his tune, saying, "Let's go now, see you on the day of the match. What you need to do now is rest well and be in top form for the game."
Morris and Harry immediately left the Quidditch Pitch and headed back to the castle.
Harry glanced back and suddenly asked curiously, "Are they still setting up the venue?"
"Maybe," Morris shrugged. "Or maybe they're dating."
"A date?" Harry exclaimed in surprise. " Mr. Bagman and Mrs. Heap? I always thought Mr. Bagman had a wife."
Morris didn't want to continue the conversation and quickened his pace toward the castle.
Seeing this, Harry said no more.
That's not important.
It's just gossip.
