Morris received his Hogwarts letter, explored magic and raised two undead creatures before traveling to Hogwarts. He was sorted into Ravenclaw and settled into a private dormitory with Guantou and Yanhua.

• Morris received his Hogwarts letter, met Professor McGonagall, and agreed to attend Hogwarts, where he bought his school supplies and showed Harold Green the magical world.
• Morris revived a cursed great grey owl as Yanhua, explained the undead owl to Harold, and wrote to Ezra Frick about a skeleton before attempting to animate Crup bones.
• Harold drove Morris to King's Cross, where Morris boarded the Hogwarts Express and befriended Lee Jordan, Fred Weasley, and George Weasley after demonstrating Guantou's tricks and casting the Wailing Curse.
• Morris met Neville Longbottom and Hermione Granger on the train, then left Guantou behind and flew on a Thestral to Hogwarts, where Professor McGonagall reprimanded him.
• The Sorting Hat sorted Morris into Ravenclaw, where he met Cho Chang and Marietta Edgecombe and learned about the Hogwarts ghosts.
• Morris won a Transfiguration contest against Kyle Chesterfield and received the private room in dormitory seven.
• Morris discovered Guantou was missing, then watched Yanhua return through the window with the cat before he went to sleep.

Morris explored his connection to death, helped Professor Binns, and pursued a way to use the Gate of Two Realms. His investigations led him into the Restricted Section and the forbidden fourth-floor corridor, where he and the Weasley twins discovered a chained Three-Headed Dog.

• Morris encountered Bane in the Forbidden Forest, fought him off with curses, and later caught an Acromantula before a Thestral carried him back to Hogwarts.
• Morris lent Fred and George the Acromantula, then helped them find it after it escaped and bit Ron, and Professor Flitwick sent the twins to his office while Morris returned to his dormitory.
• Professor Binns told Morris that a curse had trapped him as a ghost and asked Morris to help him die, while Morris began looking for a way to fake death and enter the gap between life and death.
• Morris learned about the Draught of Living Death and used Shadow Concealment to enter the Restricted Section, where Professor Kettleburn lent him a book about dissecting a Crup.
• Morris assembled and animated a Crup skeleton, then discovered the Bone Summoning Spell and tested its bone spikes and shield in his dormitory.
• Morris questioned Snape about Potions, and Snape gave him a list of books to study while warning him to avoid irrelevant discussions with Harry Potter.
• Morris joined Fred and George in planning to steal potion ingredients for the Draught of Living Death, then helped them investigate the forbidden fourth-floor corridor.
• Morris, Fred, and George found a chained Three-Headed Dog and hid from Dumbledore with Morris's Shadow Concealment before George showed Morris the Marauder’s Map.

Morris entered the Gap between life and death, learned to gather its energy, and advanced a skeletal dog. During the Christmas holidays, he sold another Skeleton Dog, formed a partnership with Ezra Frick, and learned that Snape had asked Frick to look after him. The arc left Morris in Hogsmeade with Fred and George, where he spotted Hogwarts professors at the Three Broomsticks.

• Morris stole ingredients from Snape’s storeroom to brew a Draught of Living Death, and Snape caught him and ordered him to brew it under supervision.
• After Snape revealed the potion’s missing ingredient, Morris drank the completed potion and entered the Gap between life and death, where he found a wooden cabin and gathered Gap Energy Crystals.
• Morris learned Energy Gathering and used the crystals in an advancement ritual that turned a skeletal dog into a second-tier undead creature.
• Dumbledore identified the blond man in Morris’s photograph as Gellert Grindelwald, and Morris learned that Grindelwald was imprisoned in Nurmengard.
• In Knockturn Alley, Morris refused Madam Caroline’s offer for his skeletal dog and arranged to supply her with another one, then joined Frick in a partnership to make Skeleton Dogs.
• Morris and Frick drove off Krenk and his accomplices after they threatened Frick, and Morris later sold a Skeleton Dog to Madam Caroline.
• Morris bought Potions ingredients in Diagon Alley, encountered Quirrell and Snape at Frick’s shop, and learned that Snape had asked Frick to take care of him.
• After spending Christmas with Harold, Morris met Fred and George in Hogsmeade and went with them to Zonko’s before returning to the Three Broomsticks, where he saw Hogwarts professors.

Morris advanced his undead creatures, pursued rare remains in the Forbidden Forest, and searched for the Philosopher’s Stone while pursuing his own research. The arc ended with Morris escaping a hooded attacker after taking a slain Unicorn’s corpse.

• Morris returned to Hogwarts, practiced dueling, and saw in the Mirror of Erised that he wanted to be surrounded by an endless sea of stars.
• Morris discovered the Room of Requirement and advanced Yanhua, then explored runes and created a compass that detected strong death auras.
• Morris used the compass to find and animate a Skeleton Unicorn, then stored it and other undead creatures in a containment space on his robe.
• Morris taught Neville spells to defend himself and noticed that his Death Compass pointed toward Quirrell.
• Morris entered the chambers protecting the Philosopher’s Stone and admitted to Dumbledore that he wanted to study it, but Dumbledore warned him not to seek it again.
• Morris found Quirrell’s notebook of Dark Magic spells, tried the Killing Curse, and saw a tiny gray impurity in his soul’s magic with Magic Manifestation.
• Morris encountered Quirrell and Voldemort in the Forbidden Forest, escaped the Centaurs, and sent Frick a large bone for identification.
• Morris visited Norbert, collected some dragon blood for his bone research, and later charged a hooded figure attacking a Unicorn before escaping with its shrunken corpse.
