Morris strengthened his undead creatures, explored new magic, and became entangled in Hogwarts’ disputes while Harry’s school year continued. The arc ended when a message announced that the Chamber of Secrets had been opened and Guantou and Mrs. Norris were found motionless.

• Morris found Quirrell drinking unicorn blood in the Forbidden Forest, then used his Skeleton Unicorn to stop Quirrell and destroy Voldemort’s remaining hold over him before Dumbledore took the Philosopher’s Stone.
• Morris preserved the unicorn corpse, returned to Knockturn Alley, and used the Stone’s released magic to advance Guantou and Yanhua, giving Yanhua persistent shadow clones and Guantou unreliable fire magic.
• Morris sold twelve Skeleton Dogs to Gilderoy Lockhart, later discovered Lockhart had falsely claimed to rescue them, and returned to Hogwarts for his second year.
• Morris intervened when Ron’s spell made Slytherins vomit slugs, then developed a personalized Lumos and summoned a silver raven Patronus before Snape.
• Morris summoned and tested magical skeletons in Ravenclaw, then trapped Draco Malfoy and Marcus Flint in a ring of fire after they approached him at the Black Lake.
• Morris discovered that Filch was a Squib after finding his Kwikspell letter, and made noncombat skeletons for Professor Flitwick’s Halloween entertainment.
• Morris watched Madam Caroline perform with the Elegant Skeletons, then found a message declaring that the Chamber of Secrets had been opened beside the motionless Mrs. Norris and Guantou.
• Morris carried Guantou and found her alive but unresponsive, while Dumbledore and the professors took the students involved to Lockhart’s office.

Morris investigated the attacks at Hogwarts, revived Guantou, and advanced a Bone Dragon while uncovering the secrets of Tom Riddle's Diary. After Tom led him toward the Chamber of Secrets, Morris brought Draco Malfoy along and opened its entrance.

• Morris learned that a basilisk had petrified Guantou and Mrs. Norris, then helped Guantou recover with his Purification Cauldron.
• Morris exposed Lockhart as a fraud who stole other people’s stories and erased their memories, then wiped Lockhart’s memory.
• Morris transformed a dragon skeleton into the Bone Dragon Knight and flew it, before Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall warned him not to experiment with it at school.
• Morris brewed a transformation potion for Harry and Ron, then began communicating with Tom Riddle through the diary and resisted its influence.
• Morris sold potions to Algernon and learned Apparition from Robert, while Tom’s requests for blood made him suspicious of the diary.
• After Dumbledore was dismissed and Hagrid was taken to Azkaban, Morris followed Tom Riddle’s Diary and discovered that it had left his dormitory.
• Morris resisted Tom’s Imperius Curse and forced him to lead the way to the Chamber of Secrets, capturing Draco Malfoy as he followed.
• Morris and Draco entered the passage, found a basilisk’s shed skin, and Morris opened the snake-carved entrance with Tom Riddle’s Diary.

Morris defeated Voldemort’s Basilisk plot, uncovered Salazar Slytherin’s hidden writings, and began building an organization and a flying ship as its base. After meeting Harry in Diagon Alley, Morris took him to the Weasleys’ home, where a prophecy raised questions about Morris’s family.

• Morris defeated the Basilisk, enslaved Tom Riddle’s soul fragment, and told Dumbledore how the diary had controlled Ginny Weasley.
• Morris received the Basilisk’s corpse, repaired it into an undead creature, and discovered Salazar Slytherin’s secret classroom and writings.
• Morris practiced Legilimency on Lockhart, whose recovered guilt led him to confess to plagiarism and memory magic, and Dumbledore and McGonagall later questioned Morris about his actions.
• Morris formed the Explorers with Fred, George, and Neville, then built a flying ship inside a glass bottle to serve as their base.
• Morris met Harry on the Knight Bus after Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban, and Fudge arranged for Harry to stay at the Leaky Cauldron without punishment.
• Morris took Harry to the Weasleys’ home aboard the flying ship, where he showed the family his base and gave Arthur boat designs.
• Arthur told the Weasleys that an Egyptian Seer had predicted he would meet a helpful young man from a criminal family, and Morris wondered if his unknown parents were connected to the Black family.
• Guantou picked up Scabbers in its mouth after the rat fell from the banister.

Morris returned to Hogwarts, captured and transformed a Dementor, and used his Patronus to protect students during the Quidditch disaster. After Trelawney’s crystal ball revealed Grindelwald, Morris secretly pursued a way to reach Nurmengard and obtained a magical compass from Mundungus Fletcher.

• Morris brought Harry to the Leaky Cauldron, then subdued two Aurors who had followed him and returned them to Fudge.
• On the Hogwarts Express, Morris drove off Dementors with silver raven Patronuses and later captured one to transform it with the Undead Creature Transformation Magic Circle.
• Morris saw an old man in Trelawney’s crystal ball, identified him as Grindelwald, and showed his portrait to Dumbledore, who warned him about the wizard’s power.
• During the Quidditch match, Dementors swarmed the pitch and Harry fell, so Morris summoned more than a hundred silver ravens to drive them away.
• Morris taught Harry the Patronus Charm and showed Fred and George Champion, a warrior summoned from his Portable Grave.
• Morris secretly pursued information about Nurmengard and received a magical compass pointing toward it from Mundungus Fletcher.
