Linley stayed in Gebados for three years.
Over the course of three years, he accepted dozens of missions from the Fiend Castle. He hunted exiles, roamed the wasteland, ventured deep into the perpetually misty Blood Mist Swamp, fought ferocious beasts, and battled against powerful opponents of the same level. Through countless life-and-death experiences, the Laws of Wind was honed to become increasingly formidable; and the Earth Element Divine Spark also took firm root within him, gradually merging the power of the two Divine Spark into one.
Bebe, on the other hand, completely solidified his realm as a lower- Darkness Element Lowgod. He would sometimes transform into a boy and sometimes back into Shadowmouse, his sharp claws so formidable that even ordinary Midgod dared not underestimate him. The master and servant duo had actually made a name for themselves in this dangerous prison plane.
On this day, Linley was hunting down a fleeing Highgod exile deep in the wasteland.
The exile, covered in blood, fled for his life, leaving behind a trail of divine power that plowed two deep furrows into the scorched earth beneath his feet. Linley followed closely behind, his Purple Blood Soft Sword like a shadow, poised to slay him.
Suddenly, the heavens and earth trembled violently.
It wasn't an earthquake, nor a collision of divine forces. The tremor felt as if the very foundation of this world had been violently shaken from the outside.
Linley suddenly looked up.
Above the gray sky, a pitch-black crack had appeared out of nowhere.
The rift was tens of miles long, stretching across the entire sky from east to west, like a hideous scar torn open by the hands of a god. At the edge of the rift, colorful Spatial Turbulence churned, and countless fragments flew like meteors, only to be pulverized by the turbulence. Through the rift, Linley could vaguely see another world—there, there was the long-lost, dazzling light of the sky.
"A spatial rift." Linley's pupils contracted sharply.
He knew from Bebe's inherited memories that there was originally a strong spatial barrier between Gebados and the Yulan Plane. However, this barrier was not impenetrable. Every long period of time, the space of the Gebados Plane would collide violently with the Yulan Plane, tearing open such a gap.
The opening of the gap meant that the exiles of Gebados now had a way to escape to Yulan.
Sure enough, almost at the same instant, the entire wasteland erupted in excitement.
Countless figures surged into the sky from all directions, like locusts sweeping across the land, blotting out the sun, and frantically rushed toward the crevice. Among them were ragged Saint Realm, Lowgod with murderous aura, Midgod with ferocious faces, and even a few Highgod whose auras were unfathomable, making Linley feel a chill.
"Run! Run away from this awful place!"
" Yulan Plane! I can finally go back to Yulan!"
Those who block my way shall die!
Shouts, wild laughter, sounds of fighting, and the deafening roar of clashing divine power mingled together. The Deity Level criminals, imprisoned for thousands of years, were now all blinded by rage, scrambling towards the crevice. Some, in their haste to get ahead, cleaved their companions in two with a single backhand strike; others, barely reaching the edge of the crevice, were blasted to dust by attacks from behind. Corpses rained down from mid-air, their blood staining the gray earth a shocking dark red.
"Boss!" Bebe's voice rang out in his soul, filled with anxiety, "The gap's open! Yulan's side..."
"I know." Linley's face was terribly grim.
He gazed at the rift that pierced the heavens and the earth, at the army of exiles swarming toward Yulan like locusts, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the Purple Blood Soft Sword.
Yulan, things are about to get chaotic.
Linley did not hesitate and immediately set off.
But the gap was already crowded with a dense mass of exiles. Among them were Midgod, Highgod, and even a few old monsters whose auras were unfathomable. The pressure emanating from them alone made it hard for the surrounding low-level exiles to breathe. These people fought each other to get through, and corpses fell from the sky like raindrops, smashing the gray earth into craters.
"Boss, we can't get through!" Bebe exclaimed anxiously, "There are at least a thousand Deity Level in that gap!"
Linley gritted his teeth. Although he was now Lowgod with dual Divine Spark of wind and earth, there was absolutely no way he could force his way through hundreds or even thousands of Deity Level criminals. That gap was simply a meat grinder; whoever rushed in would be torn to pieces.
"Wait a minute." He suppressed his anxiety, hid behind a rocky hill, and stared intently at the crack. "Now that the crack is open, someone from Yulan's side will surely have discovered it."
What Linley didn't know was that Yulan was in complete chaos at that moment.
Yulan Continent, on the shore of the South Sea.
Suddenly, a menacing black rift appeared between the cloudless sea and sky. As soon as it appeared, countless dark figures poured out like locusts. These exiles from Gebados were all fierce and ruthless, dressed in rags, but their eyes burned with madness and greed. As soon as they landed, they scattered and killed anyone they saw and robbed anyone they could find.
The fishing villages and ports along the coast were instantly turned into a sea of fire. Cries, screams, and wild laughter mingled together, soaring into the sky. Countless civilians did not even have time to escape before being torn to pieces by the overwhelming divine power.
The War God, the High Priest, Dylan, Cesar, four Deity Level powerhouses, arrived immediately.
The War God, O'Brien, clad in a golden robe, his Battle-qi burning like flames, unleashed a punch that transformed golden Battle-qi into a raging dragon, blasting three Lowgod exiles into a cloud of blood mist. But as soon as he killed one group, more exiles surged forward, surrounding him like a tidal wave.
The high priest held a withered wooden staff, chanting incantations. Profound powers emanated from the staff's tip, trapping dozens of exiles in place. However, sweat beaded on his forehead, indicating he couldn't hold out for long.
Dylan transformed into his true form, blotting out the sky, and his pitch-black flames swept in all directions, burning a group of the Saint Realm exiles to ashes. Cesar, on the other hand, moved like a ghost, his longsword flashing, each strike taking a life.
There were simply too many exiled beings, including many Midgod and Highgod. Although the four fought desperately, they were still forced to retreat step by step, and soon several deep wounds that exposed bone appeared on their bodies.
"Damn it!" The War God killed a Midgod with a single punch, but he himself was also struck hard, spitting blood and staggering backward. "How did all these Gebados prisoners escape?!"
At the critical moment, a moon-white figure broke through the sky from the north.
Doehring Cowart.
He took a step forward, his white hair flying wildly in the gale, and earthen-yellow divine power exploded from beneath his feet, penetrating the seabed and connecting with the entire land.
" God's Domain, open!"
In an instant, the seawater within a radius of a hundred miles was stirred up and swirled into the sky like water dragons shooting upwards. Dozens of low-ranking exiles didn't even have time to scream before they were shredded into ashes by the swirling seawater.
" Doehring!" the War God exclaimed with delight, "You've come!"
Doehring's expression was grave as he gazed at the seemingly endless, dark mass of exiles. He said in a deep voice, "Hold on. I have already sent a message to Lord Beirut."
Before he could finish speaking, several exiled Highgod, grinning maliciously, surrounded and attacked him.
