The road back to Yulan

Bada, beneath the crevice.

Linley hid behind the rocky hill, his eyes like an eagle's, fixed on the crack that pierced the sky and earth. The army of exiles continued to pour into the crack, the sounds of fighting and screams shaking the entire wasteland.

He tried to rush out several times, but restrained himself each time. That gap was now a meat grinder; with his strength as Lowgod with dual Divine Spark, rushing in would only result in his being pulverized.

"Boss, if we keep waiting like this, Yulan might not be able to hold on!" Bebe cried out anxiously in her mind.

Linley was just as anxious. His hand gripping the Purple Blood Soft Sword was bulging with veins, his knuckles white. Yulan, there was Grandpa Doehring, there was Delia, there was Wharton, there was Barker, there was the Baruch Kingdom that he had risked half his life to build. That was the place he had to protect no matter what.

As soon as the gap opened, those ferocious demons who had been imprisoned for thousands of years surged toward Yulan like a flood bursting its banks. Linley seemed to see the people of Yulan wailing in the sea of fire, and Delia and Doehring fighting desperately against the army of exiles.

"No." Linley gritted his teeth, a resolute glint in his eyes. "I can't wait any longer. Even if it means death, I will fight my way back."

Bebe was taken aback, then her eyes reddened as well. "Boss, I'll go with you!"

Just as Linley was about to lose his temper, suddenly, a scorching aura rapidly approached from afar.

The aura arrived incredibly fast; it was still on the horizon at first, but in the blink of an eye, it was right in front of us. Wherever it passed, the air was distorted by the heat, and even the gray sky was turned into a fiery red.

Linley suddenly turned around and gripped his sword tightly.

A fiery red figure streaked across the sky like a meteor, carrying a scorching heatwave, and crashed down not far in front of him.

It was a middle-aged man with long, fiery red hair that danced wildly in the heat. His face was stern, and his brows exuded an aura of dominance over the world. Almost tangible flames swirled around him; the flames weren't scorching, but they emanated a pressure that made Linley's soul tremble slightly. He held a fiery red spear, the tip of which flickered with flames, as if it might pierce a hole in the sky at any moment.

The red-haired man landed, his gaze first sweeping over Linley, then landing on the crack that pierced through the sky.

"The gaps in the Yulan," he murmured, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.

Linley was on guard when the red-haired man suddenly spoke, "Boy, are you also from Yulan?"

Linley was taken aback, then clasped his hands in a fist and said, "Yes. I am Linley, from the Baruch Clan."

" Linley." The red-haired man nodded and said calmly, "My name is Bluefire. I'm also from Yulan."

Linley's heart stirred slightly at the Bluefire. He had never heard of this name before. Yet, the terrifying aura of flames emanating from the person before him clearly indicated that he had reached a level far beyond his reach—at least Seven Star Fiend.

Bluefire said nothing more, only gazing at the crack, and slowly said, "Many exiles from the Gebados Plane have already reached the Yulan Plane through the crack. This time, there will definitely be a lot of destruction. I need to deal with this trouble. Do you want to come with me?"

"I will obey your orders, sir." Linley replied decisively, without the slightest hesitation.

"Alright." Bluefire nodded, brandishing his spear, the tip pointing directly at the dark, swarming army of exiles. "Then, let's charge back."

He paused, then added, "Stay close to me. These millions of exiles are nothing but clay chickens and earthen dogs."

As soon as he finished speaking, Bluefire moved, transforming into a streak of fiery red light and shooting towards the crevice.

When Bluefire made his move, the heavens and earth trembled.

That fiery red spear, like a roaring fire dragon, tore a gash through the midst of the army. Wherever the spear passed, Midgod and Highgod were reduced to ashes. Those exiles who had been ferocious and savage just moments before were now filled with terror, scattering to both sides like a receding tide, desperate to avoid it.

"Peak of the Fire Element Highgod..." Linley felt a chill run down his spine. This Bluefire's strength far surpassed his own, even exceeding that of Gula by many times. With a casual swipe of his spear, several Midgod were reduced to ashes; with another sweep, a bloody storm ensued.

Linley dared not be negligent and followed closely behind Bluefire. His Purple Blood Soft Sword flew, and Blade of Dimension, cleaving all the exiles who tried to attack from the side in two. Earth Element Divine Power protected his body like a layer of earth-yellow armor, blocking all the attacks.

Bebe also transformed into a boy, his palms flying, two jet-black claw shadows slashing back and forth among the exile army.

The man and the rat followed closely behind Bluefire, cutting their way through the army of exiles and rushing into the spatial rift.

The scene inside the crevice was even more perilous.

Multicolored Spatial Turbulence and roared like a raging torrent; a moment's carelessness would result in being swept away and torn to shreds by the turbulence. The surrounding space was shattered, like broken mirrors reflecting countless distorted images.

Bluefire led the way, his body wreathed in flames, incinerating all the approaching Spatial Turbulence into nothingness. Linley followed closely behind, his Wind Divine Power enveloping his entire body like a thin blue film, protecting him and Bebe.

I don't know how much time passed, but suddenly my eyes were filled with light.

It was a long-lost, warm, and bright light.

The familiar sky, the familiar sea breeze, the familiar atmosphere.

Yulan.

Linley took a deep breath, gazing at the long-lost land beneath his feet, his heart surging with emotion. Three years had passed. He had finally returned.

"Let's go to the South Sea first," Bluefire said. " The South Sea is where the most exiles emerge from the rifts."

Linley nodded. The two of them sped off towards the South Sea, one after the other.

The closer you get to the South Sea, the stronger the stench of blood becomes. Countless corpses float on the sea, some of them exiles, others of the common people of Yulan. The seawater has long been stained dark red.

From afar, Linley spotted that familiar figure.

Doehring Cowart was engaged in fierce combat with several exiled Highgod. He was covered in wounds, his moon-white robes already stained red with blood, and deep, bone-revealing wounds crisscrossed his chest and arms. Yet he still stood firmly before the Baruch Kingdom, like an unyielding monument.

"Grandpa Doehring!" Linley's eyes widened in fury, and his Wind Divine Power surged wildly into the sword, unleashing Blade of Dimension that slashed fiercely at the exiles.

The sword light, like a dragon, swept across the sky.
