Background

Tang San was formerly an outer disciple of the Ba Shu Tang Sect. After jumping from Ghost Sorrow and dying, he awakened as a newborn in Douluo Continent while retaining the Tang Sect Treasure Manual and his past-life memories. 8

He was born to Tang Hao and Ah Yin during Spirit Hall's pursuit of them. Ah Yin sacrificed herself to save Tang Hao and Tang San, becoming Tang Hao's hundred-thousand-year soul ring; her remaining Blue Silver Emperor seed later expended life energy to heal both father and son. 8 21

Ling Feng identified Tang San as the Child of Fortune and attempted to kill him in Sacred Soul Village. Tang San used Guanyin's Tears to weaken the incoming Grand Void Thunder Origin Sword, but the technique left him severely dehydrated and unconscious. A mysterious golden curtain preserved the final trace of life in both Tang San and Tang Hao. 18 21

Tang Hao concealed Tang San underground to evade Ling Feng's spiritual search, then settled in Sacred Soul Village under the name “Haotian” after framing Ling Feng for Old Jack's death. 39 40

Tang San is methodical and secretive in combat, favoring preparation, concealed weapons, misdirection, and attacks from advantageous positions. His personal information identifies him as deeply calculating and willing to strike in secret to achieve his goals. 18

He is intensely protective of Xiao Wu and his Shrek companions. When Xiao Wu was injured by Qian Renxue, he exhausted more than half his Soul Power to launch Hidden Arrow in retaliation. 123

Final Defeat

Tang San assaulted Spirit City and then confronted Ling Feng with the Asura Demon Sword and Asura Blood Sword. Ling Feng answered by sacrificing the Unlimited Blade Works Domain and summoning the Four Immortal Slaying Swords, which erased Tang San completely. 255 256
