New Earth Nuclear Factory
After Leo and the World Will reached a consensus, they rushed to inspect the nuclear factory without stopping.
"Dear Dean, the technology for controlled nuclear fusion is currently mature and stable. There are thirty fusion power plants worldwide supplying electricity, and electricity has been virtually free for the general public for the past twenty years."
Niu Lele, the vice dean of the academy, accompanied Leo on his inspection of the nuclear factory. There was no other way; none of the ordinary workers or some of the scientific and technological talents were Official Wizard, so they couldn't get within a hundred meters of Leo. If Leo were to accidentally see them, the oppressive aura contained in his eyes alone would be enough to kill them.
To ordinary people, Leo is a walking disaster; wherever he goes, mortals avoid him!
Nuclear factory and nuclear fusion are the second things Leo wants to do upon returning to the New Earth!!
Before entering the nuclear plant, Leo had already scanned the entire facility and had a complete grasp of everything except for a few specific locations.
Without pausing, Leo walked directly into the nuclear reactor chamber and pointed to the reactor in front of him, saying, "Start the reactor now."
Niu Lele's expression changed instantly. "Dean, this is the reaction chamber. If we activate the reactor, the energy will be too great, equivalent to facing the epicenter of a nuclear explosion. I think we should go outside and observe from there."
Leo glanced at Niu Lele, "You go out and start the reactor, lock the door, I'll stay here and observe."
Niu Lele wanted to say more, but Leo immediately waved his hand, "Go, no need to say anything more, this amount of energy can't hurt me."
Seeing Leo's resolute attitude, Niu Lele walked out of the reaction room and locked the door tightly.
Leo stared quietly at the enormous spherical reaction instrument in front of him, which seemed like a sleeping beast lying before him.
This is one of the most advanced core technologies that humankind has mastered so far, and it is known as an inexhaustible Artificial Sun.
It is thanks to controlled nuclear fusion technology that humanity has achieved its current level of development, enabling us to explore several surrounding planets and gain a preliminary understanding of the universe.
Even though those planets are all dead and don't have any valuable mineral veins, the core energy that supports humanity's exploration of the surrounding stars is provided by nuclear fusion.
Clean and efficient; once mastered, humans can reproduce without any worries in their own world!
Although Leo, who brought with him the wizard civilization, changed the course of human development, nuclear fusion technology continues to contribute to human progress.
As the external switch is activated, the electrical energy stored inside the factory is suddenly converted into a magnetic field, which, under human control, rushes into the reaction instrument in front of us, forming a double-helix magnetic confinement.
Leo closed his eyes and released his spiritual power, enveloping the entire reactor and probing inside to sense it.
He had received the information about nuclear fusion a long time ago, but this was the first time he had experienced it so closely.
Inside the reactor, a powerful magnetic field has generated visible light. The azure double-helix magnetic confinement, only as thick as a human hair, is stacked layer upon layer under control, making the reactor appear to be only the size of a small house. In reality, the length of the internal helical magnetic confinement structure exceeds two thousand kilometers.
The magnetic confinement of the double helix controls tritium and deuterium respectively. Driven by the initial force, the two atoms are accelerated to the limit in a helical magnetic field of two thousand kilometers.
Because atoms have extremely small mass, under the continuous acceleration of a magnetic field, the speed at the very end of a 2,000-kilometer magnetic confinement can reach one-tenth the speed of light.
The super-speed creates a high-temperature, high-pressure environment around them, and then the two types of atoms collide violently at the center of the reactor.
What seemed like a long marathon actually changed in an instant!
"Boom"
The reactor seemed to be holding a raging beast, shaking violently, followed by tremors throughout the ground, and a ripple in the air slowly spreading outwards from the reactor.
The rapid collision of tritium and deuterium nuclei is like dough being forcefully pounded together, perfectly fusing together to form a new atom, helium.
The process by which elements with fewer atoms combine to form elements with more atoms is called nuclear fusion!
The enormous energy released by nuclear fusion caused the surrounding space to tremble. The visible ripple was not an aftershock of fusion, but rather a ripple caused by the deformation of space due to its inability to withstand the powerful energy level.
The space at the epicenter of a nuclear explosion is like a house in an earthquake, constantly twisting and deforming under the influence of enormous energy.
When the spatial ripples swept across Leo, Leo did not move at all, not even lifting his eyelids, as if he was not worried at all about being hurt by the spatial fluctuations.
The slightly upturned Godslaying Wizard Robe seemed to be swept by a gust of wind, and then quietly settled down after the spatial fluctuations subsided.
Niu Lele, who was outside the reaction room, had her heart in her throat when she saw the spatial ripple appear. She only breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that the Dean was unharmed after the spatial ripple swept over him.
What appeared to be merely a spatial fluctuation sweeping across his body was, as he had advised Leo, equivalent to facing the epicenter of a nuclear explosion.
Let alone ordinary people, even Level One Formal Wizard in Leo's position would be shattered into pieces.
Based on his understanding, the attack power of this spatial fluctuation definitely exceeded tens of thousands of points!
The fact that the Dean could deal with the spatial tremors so calmly shows that his strength has reached a level that is beyond his imagination. It can be said that even a nuclear bomb could not kill his Dean.
Even Niu Lele, who had been First-Level Wizard for over a hundred years, couldn't help but ask himself after witnessing such a scene: were Advanced Wizard really this terrifying?
The vibrations in the reactor are decreasing, indicating that this nuclear fusion reaction is complete. The next step is to conduct and convert the energy from the nuclear fusion into electricity for human use and deliver it to households.
Niu Lele originally intended to wait until the reaction energy completely subsided before taking the Dean away, but unexpectedly, before he could even open the door to the reaction chamber, he heard the Dean's voice.
"I need to stay here for a while to complete some experiments using nuclear fusion. Just let the factory continue operating at its original schedule, as if I don't exist."
"Also, contact the Wizard World and allocate ten Official Wizard and one thousand High-Rank Wizard Apprentice to work with the nuclear factory to develop a runic nuclear fusion reactor, based on the current nuclear fusion energy level."
"Come and call me when you're done. Go now."
Niu Lele looked at the dean who had finished speaking and sat down in the nuclear fusion reaction chamber and immediately nodded in agreement.
Their dean only returns once every hundred years or so, and the orders he issues must be carried out one thousand percent.
Once the order was given, Leo disregarded how they handled it and continuously focused his mental energy on the reactor.
Without the opportunity to get up close to a star, Leo could only settle for nuclear fusion, since nuclear fusion is nicknamed the Artificial Sun and is based on the same principle.
Based on our observations just now, although nuclear fusion produces a great deal of energy, it is still far less than that of a star.
Mental contact can also cause changes in mental energy, but the intensity and speed of these changes are nowhere near those of a star.
When you get close to a star's energy, it's like touching a red-hot iron with your bare hand; now, touching the core of a nuclear fusion reactor is like touching boiling water.
Leo didn't even need to touch it carefully; instead, he could openly and brazenly bring his spiritual energy close to the center of the nuclear explosion.
However, it does indeed have an effect on tempering mental strength!
To compensate for the slow rate of mental power mutation, the only solution is to increase the quantity of mental power to make up for the quality gap!
The primary reason Leo returned to Earth was to test whether nuclear fusion could promote mutations in mental abilities.
This concerns the time it takes for his Bloodline Power to reach its limit!
A year later, Niu Lele brought good news: the rune nuclear fusion reactor that Leo had ordered to be developed had been successfully manufactured and was awaiting Leo's inspection.
Leo walked out of the nuclear reaction chamber, inspected the reactor they had built, offered some suggestions for modification, and then returned to the reaction chamber.
Afterwards, Leo offered several suggestions for revision.
Another year passed, and the nuclear fusion reactor that Leo wanted was finally completed.
Apart from the nuclear fusion reaction center, which remained largely unchanged, everything else that could be replaced by the Wizard Rune System has been replaced.
Nuclear reactors that required massive amounts of electrical energy to start have been replaced by those powered by elemental energy.
As for the energy released during nuclear fusion, it will be collected along the magic circle and can be either added to the energy pool or absorbed by the wizard now.
The entire reactor is only about the size of a two-story building, making it easy to carry and move for activation at any time.
Leo tried turning it on, and after testing it, said, "Very good, build twenty units according to this standard."
This modified nuclear fusion reactor can only be used in the Wizard World; there isn't enough elemental energy to start it on the New Earth.
So those technicians felt somewhat melancholy seeing that their hard work couldn't be put to use on the New Earth.
Six months later, Leo returned to the Wizard World with twenty modified nuclear fusion reactors.
"Guess what I found?"
The moment Leo returned to the academy, Yaoyao appeared on Leo shoulder, speaking mysteriously with a serious expression.
"What did we discover? Could it be that we've discovered an entire world?" Leo jokingly guessed.
Yaoyao shook her head, denying Leo's joke, but not entirely. "I haven't discovered any new world yet, but it'll be soon. For some reason, many spatial rifts have suddenly appeared there."
"These spatial rifts appear randomly; who knows, one day they might actually connect to a world."
"Unordered spatial rifts? And many more?"
Leo looked at Yaoyao in surprise, wondering if he had misheard. How could there be so many disordered spatial rifts there?
"I was afraid you wouldn't believe me, so I recorded it with a crystal ball. You can see for yourself."
Yaoyao took a crystal ball out of the Shadow Space and threw it into Leo's hands.
Leo immediately opened the crystal ball to check. In the video recorded by Yaoyao, a patch of grass or a group of trees suddenly disappeared in the lush forest, and even an unfortunate beast suddenly lost half of its body.
In the video, black spatial rifts flashed by, like the most cunning hunters lurking in the darkness, suddenly appearing, devouring something, and then disappearing in an instant.
The view from inside the crystal ball was constantly adjusted, and spatial cracks could be seen appearing almost every minute.
Some spatial rifts are large, some are small, and some only appear and disappear in an instant.
Some spatial rifts linger for a short while, while others remain for a long time.
In short, these spatial rifts appear and exist without any pattern.
These are spatial rifts that appear without any fixed order, appearing and disappearing in a completely chaotic manner, with no discernible pattern.
