Geography and Environment

  • Planet-absorbing mass: Thin spatial barriers can collapse under the Wizard World’s immense mass, bringing distant worlds into contact with it. Its gravity then tears those planets apart and incorporates their fragments; Earth was neither its first nor its last such acquisition 4.
  • Engineered living conditions: Powerful beings bound multiple stars to improve its environment. Wizards and guardians subsequently reshaped the homeland to provide favorable weather and dependable living conditions 16 205 349.
  • Vast wilderness: Regions outside the academies include cloud-covered mountains, primeval forests with trees over a thousand meters tall, and drifting mist resembling rivers in the sky 16.
  • High ambient energy: Its ordinary environment contains energy comparable to the specialized cultivation chambers used by New Earth’s apprentices 409.
  • Dependence on protection: Comfortable conditions do not make every region safe. After Leo’s former territory lost academy administration, wild beasts could breach its cities and devour their inhabitants 915.
  • High-level capacity: The homeland can accommodate Supreme Lords. Restrictions on Stigmata Wizards entering it are rules enforced by its guardians, not a limitation of the world’s capacity 524.

Major Locations

Location Function and significance
Purple Flame Academy Elemental wizard academy where Leo begins his training; also houses a spatial passage to Jeft World 4 6 123.
Tower of Elements A region for Official Wizards to study, exchange knowledge, train, and assemble expeditionary armies. Settlement requires at least Level One; it contains no apprentice academies 79.
Central region Contains teleportation infrastructure used to travel between distant locations, including Purple Flame Academy 123.
Land of Origin Sacred region filled with wizard origin energy. It houses the Fate Wizard Book and has also been used to hold Leo’s controlled body and the sealed Baturu 855 974.
Falling Sunset Village Remote coastal village where Leo and Alice live in seclusion. Fishing, nearby forests, and favorable weather support its inhabitants 349.
World Tree Later stands beside the Wizard World among the stars. Its branches maintain passages into the Shadow World, reducing the cost of keeping those routes open 959.
Shadow Plane An associated transit and trading hub connecting distant civilizations; later becomes a renewed battlefield between Leo and the Wizard World 959 982.

Government and the Wizard Will

Wizard Will

  • The Wizard Will is the world will jointly upheld by wizards and described as the core of their civilization 693.
  • Its influence can be spread into conquered worlds through formations. Warfare between world clusters therefore involves conflict between their World Wills as well as their armies 693 694.
  • It does not evaluate causes and motives like a person. The Elemental Wizard School exploited this by engineering an invasion and then resolving it to obtain recognition for protecting the homeland 774.
  • Foreign World Wills can communicate directly with it through the Land of Origin, as the Returning Breath World Will does after escaping Black Soluo 864.

Guardian Wizards

Guardian Wizards represent the Wizard Will and enforce the homeland’s restrictions 524.

  • Entry control: Stigmata Wizards ordinarily remain outside the homeland; guardians monitor their authorized descents 524.
  • Territorial oversight: Guardians investigate ownerless territory and unusual spatial disturbances 468.
  • Homeland defense: They respond to invasions and draw substantial combat power from the Wizard Will within its territory 524 613.
  • Political vulnerability: Rival schools obstructed and weakened them, and ten Guardian Wizards died during the struggle over Leo’s captured wealth 774 960.

Leo’s Reforms

Reform Terms
Wizard Supreme Council Composed of all Supreme Lords. Major matters go before the council, with Leo deciding unresolved disagreements 1009.
End to civil wars Wizards are forbidden to slaughter one another; development is to be planned rather than left to competing schools 1009.
Restored entry restrictions Stigmata Wizards and higher-ranked beings may not enter the Wizard World, and the guardians’ enforcement rights are restored 1009.
Alliance integration World clusters are required to join the Wizard Alliance 1009.
Resurrection commitments Leo promises to resurrect fallen Supreme Lords, World Lords, and Stigmata Wizards while demanding loyalty 1009.
Shadow Plane administration Its operations are entrusted to Leo’s Shadow World self 1009.
Guardian strengthening Leo works toward establishing ten Supreme Lord-level guardians whose strength, together with the Wizard Will, would rival ten Level-Eight Supreme Lords. This remains a stated project in Chapter 1025 1025.

Society

Social Ranks and Civilian Rights

  • Slaves: Occupy the lowest rank and possess no rights. Many originate from conquered worlds and are treated as resources for labor, warfare, or experimentation 4 33.
  • Protected civilians: Using civilians or other wizards as experimental subjects is considered an attack on the civilization’s foundations. Dedicated wizards punish such violations severely 33.
  • Earth survivors: Purple Flame grants Earth’s humans second-class native rights, prohibiting their arbitrary slaughter or enslavement 4.
  • Ordinary life: Properly maintained settlements offer reliable livelihoods, while remote communities may retain simple fishing and farming lifestyles with little knowledge of the wider world 349.
  • Uneven enforcement: Protection can break down through factional violence or neglect. Black Skull Academy abducts residents of Tiyama City, while Leo’s abandoned territory becomes dangerously ungoverned 205 915.

Wizard Institutions

  • Academies educate apprentices, conduct research, administer territories, and support expeditionary forces 6 415 621.
  • Other organizations include wizard clans, merchant guilds, wandering wizards, and wizards stationed in foreign worlds 5.
  • Factional politics concentrate intelligence and valuable resources within individual schools. Even powerful outsiders may be excluded from major opportunities 468 749.
  • Military merit is rewarded through Third-Class, Second-Class, First-Class, and Special-Class Wizard Medals 82.
  • Currency includes wizard coins for lower-cost purchases and energy crystals as a standard circulating currency 6 662.

Wizardry and Knowledge

Main Paths

Path Foundation Development
Elemental Wizards Mental power and control of elemental energy 7 32. Adapt and redesign spells to suit their individual characteristics. At higher levels, their bodies become increasingly coupled with elemental energy 31 346.
Body Refinement Wizards Physical strength, bodily evolution, and bloodline power 6 7. Train to release combat power far beyond their basic attributes and incorporate suitable discoveries into their cultivation methods 14 313.

Research and Inheritance

  • Knowledge over innate superiority: Wizards are not inherently the strongest life-forms. Their advantages come from generations of research, self-improvement, and an exceptional capacity to learn 892.
  • Individual innovation: Identical spells can behave differently for different casters. Elemental Wizards therefore modify inherited techniques rather than reproduce them unchanged 31.
  • Measured combat power: Attacks are quantified numerically, but strength depends on how effectively a wizard converts basic attributes into usable power 7 14 32.
  • Resource-intensive advancement: Training requires enormous investment, helping drive expeditions for resources from other worlds 415.
  • Fate Wizard Book: The civilization’s legacy treasure preserves its knowledge and inheritances. Supreme Lords record their information after advancing, allowing future wizards to exchange military merit for their legacies 948.
  • Little Bookworm No. 002: Its true body lies within the Land of Origin. Taking it would mean removing the Wizard World’s accumulated truths and information—enough, according to Leo’s understanding, to reproduce an identical Wizard World 855.

Expeditions and Foreign Rule

Military Infrastructure

  • Star motherships carry armies on long-distance voyages through the universe. One expedition assembles more than a million wizards and over ten million slaves 87 610.
  • Spatial passages connect conquered territories and provide reinforcement routes. During the war with Leo, maintaining control of a passage is treated as worth more than half a world 931.
  • Slave armies and allied World Lords supplement wizard forces. The Wizard Alliance includes powerful non-wizard rulers such as the God of Giants 156 701.
  • Fate Wizard Books transmit military reports and coordinate regional connections between Stigmata Wizards 606.
  • Foreign laws suppress invading forces. Apprentices are particularly vulnerable, while stronger wizards require methods of adapting to another world’s rules 64.

Conquest and Assimilation

Method Documented practice
Military subjugation Organized resistance is dismantled before long-term rule is established 79.
Knowledge collection Native knowledge is preserved and assimilated, but conquered inhabitants may be forbidden to study or spread their former systems 79.
Cultural replacement Wizard civilization replaces local culture. Jeft World is projected to require thirty years for conquest and fifty to sixty years for consolidated rule 79.
Alliance admission Powerful races can join with guarantees from sufficiently prestigious wizards, under a covenant witnessed by the Wizard Will 189.
Profit distribution During the Returning Breath campaign, conquerors are offered 30% of a world’s proceeds, with the remainder allocated according to military contributions 691.
Suppression of rival paths Wizard education gradually replaces the Lord of Souls profession after Returning Breath World’s surrender; no new Lord of Souls emerges during the documented period 856.

History

Earth’s Destruction

A spatial tidal effect brought Earth into contact with the Wizard World. The homeland’s gravity destroyed Earth without deliberate action, incorporating its fragments. Wizards rescued roughly half of Earth’s living beings to preserve biological diversity and study the newly encountered civilization 4.

The survivors initially faced enslavement and sacrifice. Purple Flame’s decree granted humans protected native status, after which they could relocate to new towns or pursue wizard training. Leo chose to remain at Purple Flame Academy 4.

Expeditions and Alliance Expansion

The Wizard World repeatedly launched campaigns against other worlds, including Jeft World, Stone Light Small World, and the large Giant World. Expedition commanders gathered armies in the homeland before departing aboard motherships 79 87 150.

The Giant World campaign ended with its giant race joining the Wizard Alliance under guarantees from several Stigmata Wizards. The giants subsequently developed enough to control several small worlds themselves 189 918.

Returning Breath War and Factional Manipulation

Returning Breath World eventually penetrated the homeland, sending Lords of Souls and puppet armies into Blue Dragon Bloodline Academy’s territory. Leo evacuated most of his territory’s population and supplies while the response from senior defenders failed to materialize 613.

The invasion was later revealed to have been engineered by the Elemental Wizard School, which obstructed Guardian Wizards and allowed destruction before intervening for recognition from the Wizard Will. Body Refinement interests had also contributed to weakening the guardians 774.

Following Returning Breath World’s surrender, its rulers faced restrictions on armies and expeditions, surveillance beside Stigmata territories, and the gradual displacement of their profession by wizard education 735 856.

Civil War and Leo’s Defection

Conflicts between the major schools escalated into civil war. The Supreme Lords temporarily halted it and declared all-out war against Myriad Beasts World, making victory or recovery of the Endless Pot a route to Supreme Lord advancement 840.

Leo’s killing of the Tower of Elements and Eye of Destruction ended his remaining opportunity for reconciliation. His forces withdrew, and he established himself outside the Barbarian World 855.

War Against Atomic Control

Leo attacked both the Wizard World’s expeditionary fronts and its extensive network of subject worlds. Newly advanced World Lords infiltrated through teleportation arrays, leaving more than two thousand worlds in chaos 926 929 930.

Despite territorial losses, the Wizard World preserved much of its Stigmata strength and drew heavily on allied World Lords and Demon Lords. It also compelled the Purgatory Demon leadership to surrender the broken red saber and retained three Supreme Lords as hostages 940.

Leo eventually invaded the homeland itself with an army of ten thousand World Lords dispersed across numerous entry points 942.

Captured Wealth and the Shadow Plane Trade Network

After Leo’s apparent defeat, the Wizard World acquired his armies, worlds, technology, and access to the Shadow Plane. It sealed itself off for fifty years before reopening and resettling its reclaimed worlds 947 948.

Competition over those gains triggered a two-hundred-year struggle that killed ten Guardian Wizards and two Supreme Lords and severely injured thirteen Supreme Lords 960.

The Wizard World later developed the Shadow Plane into an interstellar market, enforcing trading rules and providing paid protection. Commerce reduced—but did not eliminate—its expeditions. The plane’s sudden expansion to world-cluster scale prompted a shutdown and fears that Leo had survived 959.

Leo’s Return and Unification

After returning and completing his ascension to Supreme Lord, Leo protected the Guardian Wizards from Bloodline Controller and challenged the assembled Supreme Lords for control 998.

He subsequently established the Wizard Supreme Council, restored guardian authority, prohibited civil wars, and continued outward expansion. Under his leadership, the wider alliance encompassed five world-cluster-level worlds and conducted simultaneous wars against three world clusters 1009 1018.

Documented Military Strength

These figures describe the Wizard World and its wider alliance at specific points, rather than the homeland’s population alone.

Period Documented strength
Before the war with Leo Fewer than 10,000 World Lords, more than 4,000 Stigmata Wizards, and slightly over one trillion troops 947.
During the war Twenty-five Supreme Lords remained a decisive advantage despite battlefield and territorial setbacks 933.
After acquiring Leo’s forces Nearly 30,000 additional World Lords and an army numbering several trillion 947.
After the fifty-year closure Four world clusters, more than 30,000 World Lords, and twenty-six Supreme Lords 948.
Under Leo Five world-cluster-level worlds within the alliance; simultaneous campaigns against three world clusters proceeding at a pace controlled by the wizards 1018.
