Arc 23The Gran World Campaign

Leo fought the Lords of Souls during the campaign in Gran World and secretly sent a soul fragment through the soul passage to Returning Breath World. After the wizard army won, Purple-Gold Vine ordered Leo to prepare for further action because the passage had not been fully blocked.

  • Purple-Gold Vine led Leo, Boiling Blood Tyrant Body, and Interstellar Wanderer into battle in Gran World, where Leo and the others killed puppets and Lords of Souls.
  • Leo hunted Level-Four Lords of Souls across the battlefield, drawing the attention of stronger enemies and eventually killing a Level-Five Lord of Souls inside Shadow Space.
  • Leo examined the dead Lord’s memories and learned that Returning Breath World transformed souls sent through the Soul Passage and could produce powerful beings quickly.
  • Leo exchanged his battle merits for knowledge of Soul Traction, Soul Cognition, and Soul Modification, then joined Purple-Gold Vine’s mission to reinforce the Soul Passage and protect the World Lords.
  • Leo killed Lords of Souls attacking the World Lords, then used the ensuing fight to send a fragment of his soul through the Soul Passage.
  • The fragment awakened in Returning Breath World as a beetle, evolved by devouring beasts, and named itself Black Soluo while sharing the world’s knowledge with Leo.
  • The wizard army defeated the puppet army, and Purple-Gold Vine announced that part of the force would remain to develop Gran World.
  • Purple-Gold Vine ordered Leo to prepare for further orders, and the God of Giants offered him discounted troops and gave him wizard-tool rings.
Chapters 551–575 Vol. 6 Read

Ch. 551World cluster war (2)

Leo learned that his team of five Stigmata Wizards had been assigned a dangerous special mission, originally a decapitation strike, as they traveled toward the war against Returning Breath World. The mothership arrived at Gran World, one of the war’s deadliest battlefields, where the wizard armies prepared to fight.

  • Purple-Gold Vine named herself captain and Soul-Devouring Seal vice-captain, then explained that their team would receive a battlefield mission that might change upon arrival.
  • Purple-Gold Vine briefed Leo, Boiling Blood Tyrant Body, and Interstellar Wanderer on the war, explaining that Stigmata Wizards handled dangerous operations while World Lords led the main armies.
  • Leo asked whether their team would infiltrate Returning Breath World, and Purple-Gold Vine said their energy signatures made such a mission too dangerous for them.
  • During the ten-year journey, Purple-Gold Vine showed the team footage of the enemy’s controlled puppets and grotesque Lords of Souls, whose souls had to be targeted rather than their bodies.
  • The mothership reached Gran World, a major battlefield with more than forty beings of level four or higher, and the wizard armies were ordered to prepare for battle.

Ch. 552World cluster war (3)

Leo and the Stigmata Great Wizards arrived at Gran World to find a vast puppet army and ten Lords of Souls guarding the mothership’s landing site. After Purple-Gold Vine opened the world barrier and led the assault, Leo activated his Earth Giant bloodline and entered the battle.

  • Purple-Gold Vine told Leo, Boiling Blood Tyrant Body, Interstellar Wanderer, and Soul-Devouring Seal that their mission had changed: they had to stabilize the wizard army’s position in Gran World before attempting their original decapitation mission.
  • The group learned that ten Lords of Souls and a massive puppet army occupied the mothership’s landing site, while the wizard army inside Gran World was unable to help.
  • Purple-Gold Vine ordered Soul-Devouring Seal to guard the mothership and led Leo, Boiling Blood Tyrant Body, and Interstellar Wanderer into the assault.
  • The mothership’s main cannon tore open the world barrier, and Purple-Gold Vine widened the breach before killing puppets with his immense elemental true body.
  • Interstellar Wanderer and Boiling Blood Tyrant Body entered Gran World and attacked the puppet army, with Boiling Blood Tyrant Body challenging Leo through a pointed glance.
  • Leo activated his Earth Giant bloodline true body and charged into the puppet army.

Ch. 553War of the World Cluster (4)

Leo and the other Stigmata Wizards slaughtered the puppet army, but Leo’s effortless use of ten distant domains killed enemies far faster than anyone else. As the others witnessed the gap in their abilities, Leo continued searching for the ten Lords of Souls.

  • The Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard and Interstellar Wanderer swept through the puppets with powerful attacks, while the Boiling Blood Giant cut them apart with storms of blade energy.
  • Leo activated ten domains around the Earth Giant, killing hundreds of thousands of puppets through gravity, blood explosions, heat, lightning, wind, fire, and other effects.
  • Leo projected the domains as far as 195 kilometers away using Shadow Walking, and the Energy Absorption Domain restored his mana as the slaughter continued.
  • Leo searched the puppet army for the ten Lords of Souls but found no sign of them.
  • The Boiling Blood Giant watched Leo kill puppets dozens of times faster than he could and gave up on competing with him.
  • Interstellar Wanderer realized Leo’s slaughtering speed surpassed his own, and Leo sent balls of electric current toward puppets more than a dozen kilometers away.

Ch. 554World Cluster War (5)

Leo and the other Stigmata Wizards carved through the puppet army before eight Lords of Souls ambushed them. Leo shrugged off three attackers’ blows and killed two with Nuclear Fusion Grand Witchcraft, then unleashed a barrage of lightning witchcraft against the third as it tried to flee.

  • Yaoyao hurled nuclear explosive balls of electricity into the puppet army while Leo and the other wizards slaughtered puppets, opening a path through the ranks.
  • Three Lords of Souls suddenly surrounded Leo, while the others attacked the Boiling Blood Giant, the Interstellar Wanderer, and the Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard.
  • Leo endured the three Lords of Souls’ attacks without serious harm and struck back with Nuclear Fusion Grand Witchcraft, destroying two of them as runes sealed their souls.
  • The remaining Lord of Souls withdrew its tentacle and tried to escape, but Leo attacked it with Thunderbolt: Prison, Thunderbolt: Greatsword, and Thunderbolt: Endless.

Ch. 555World cluster war (6)

Leo killed the three Lords of Souls who ambushed him with help from the Soul-Devouring Seal Stigmata Great Wizard, then returned to the mothership with the Boiling Blood Giant when they could not assist the other battles. After Soul-Devouring Seal went to aid the Interstellar Wanderer and Purple-Gold Vine, Leo and the Boiling Blood Giant stayed behind to guard the mothership against hidden attackers.

  • Leo trapped and destroyed the octopus-tentacled Lord of Souls, then used Thunderbolt: Endless to annihilate the souls of the other two Lords of Souls sealed by Soul-Devouring Seal.
  • Leo saw the Boiling Blood Giant kill his opponent and recognized that the giant's curved blade could attack souls as well as bodies.
  • Leo and the Boiling Blood Giant approached the Interstellar Wanderer's battlefield but could not enter the fighting, so Leo ordered them back to the mothership.
  • Leo reported to Soul-Devouring Seal, who activated the mothership's defensive shield and sent Leo and the Boiling Blood Giant to guard it.
  • Soul-Devouring Seal departed to help the Interstellar Wanderer and Purple-Gold Vine, while Leo instructed the Boiling Blood Giant to watch for concealed Lords of Souls.

Ch. 556World Cluster War (7)

Leo and Interstellar Wanderer exposed and killed the last two level-four Lords of Souls, but the battle between the level-six Stigmata Great Wizards and the remaining level-six Lords of Souls continued in a stalemate. The mothership could not descend safely, so Interstellar Wanderer requested level-six support through the Fate Wizard Book.

  • Soul-Devouring Seal restrained two level-five Lords of Souls, and Interstellar Wanderer pulverized them with starlight.
  • Interstellar Wanderer asked Leo to sweep the mothership’s surroundings with a wide-area lightning spell, revealing two level-four Lords of Souls hiding nearby.
  • Interstellar Wanderer and Leo attacked together and quickly killed the two revealed Lords of Souls.
  • The four level-six combatants continued fighting for half a month, while their shock waves devastated the puppet army around them.
  • Interstellar Wanderer concluded that the battle would not end without outside intervention and used the Fate Wizard Book to request level-six combat support.

Ch. 557World Cluster War (8)

The Interstellar Wanderer requested reinforcements, and the God of Giants Kampas arrived to help Purple-Gold Vine and Soul-Devouring Seal defeat two Lords of Souls. After the mothership descended into Gran World and teleported to another front, Leo saw the vast war there and the disciplined formations of his Gulu Beast army.

  • The Interstellar Wanderer requested reinforcements, and the Fate Wizard Book confirmed that the God of Giants Kampas would arrive shortly.
  • Kampas joined Purple-Gold Vine and Soul-Devouring Seal in battle, helping them seal one Lord of Souls while the other escaped through a spatial rift.
  • The Interstellar Wanderer ordered the mothership to descend into Gran World after the energy tides stabilized.
  • Purple-Gold Vine ordered the mothership to teleport to the battlefield, where it arrived two hours later.
  • Leo surveyed the immense battle and saw wizard and slave armies fighting the puppet hordes, including his trained Gulu Beast army.

Ch. 558World Cluster War (9)

Leo was sent to hunt Level-Four Lords of Souls as Gran World’s forces split up to cope with the war’s heavy losses. After four days of searching, he received a report and attacked a Lord of Souls hidden among a puppet army, leaving the nearby reconnaissance wizards caught in his thunderstorm.

  • Purple-Gold Vine ordered Leo to find and kill Level-Four Lords of Souls while Boiling Blood Tyrant Body joined the main battlefield.
  • Leo searched the vast battlefield in the shadows, discussing the war’s mounting casualties with Yaoyao.
  • After four days, the Fate Wizard Book reported a Level-Four Lord of Souls at coordinates 159:424:951.
  • Reconnaissance wizards tracked a Lord of Souls disguised as a puppet and waited for a Stigmata Wizard to arrive.
  • Leo emerged from the shadows and destroyed the disguised Lord of Souls, unleashing a thunderstorm that forced the reconnaissance wizards to flee.

Ch. 559World Cluster War (10)

Leo ambushed and killed two Level-Four Lords of Souls on Gran World, using his domains and lightning witchcraft to destroy them and help the wizard army reclaim ground. After command wizards recognized his speed and strength, Purple-Gold Vine raised the priority of locating more Lords of Souls for him.

  • Leo ambushed a Level-Four Lord of Souls, killed him with lightning, and told Yaoyao that he would consider developing ambush witchcraft.
  • After three days without finding another target, Leo received coordinates for a Level-Four Lord of Souls attacking the wizard army’s front line.
  • Leo restrained the Lord of Souls with twelve domains and destroyed him with Thunder Destruction Grand Witchcraft.
  • Leo used his domains to kill the puppets that had breached five kilometers of the wizard army’s defenses, then vanished into the shadows.
  • Command wizards reported Leo’s second kill to Purple-Gold Vine, who ordered them to raise the search for Level-Four Lords of Souls to fifth priority and send him intelligence quickly.

Ch. 560World Cluster War (11)

Leo killed four level-four Lords of Souls, then discovered that the wizard command had been using his attacks to draw out stronger enemies. After the Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard confirmed the plan and raised Leo’s battle merits, a fifth location appeared in an obvious trap.

  • Leo killed a third level-four Lord of Souls, and the Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard doubled the reward for finding more targets.
  • Leo noticed that reports were arriving unusually quickly and suspected the enemy might be preparing an ambush.
  • Leo carefully checked the area before killing a fourth Lord of Souls, then fled when he sensed danger as a level-five Lord of Souls arrived.
  • The Interstellar Wanderer Level-Five Stigmata Wizard followed the enemy, while Leo reported what had happened to the Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard.
  • The Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard revealed that Leo was drawing out stronger Lords of Souls and promised him 1.5 times the usual battle merits.
  • A fifth Lord of Souls’ location appeared, and Leo recognized the coordinates as an obvious trap.

Ch. 561World Cluster War (12)

Leo approached the fifth Level-Four Lord of Souls at the Returning Breath World's headquarters, suspecting an ambush but following the Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard's orders. His nuclear-bomb-assisted assassination nearly killed the target, but a Level-Five Lord of Souls intervened and trapped Leo before he could escape.

  • The Purple-Gold Vine Stigmata Great Wizard ordered Leo to deal with the Level-Four Lord of Souls, and Yaoyao promised to pull him into the Shadow World if he faced danger.
  • Leo found the Level-Four Lord of Souls waiting alone in a cleared area, but Yaoyao's shadows detected no hidden enemies.
  • Leo threw an Improved Hydrogen Bomb at the Lord of Souls, who teleported away just before the nuclear explosion erupted.
  • Leo emerged from the shadows and suppressed the Lord of Souls with fourteen domains before launching Thunder Destruction Grand Witchcraft.
  • A Level-Five Lord of Souls appeared, dispersed Leo's lightning attack, and used spatial pressure to force Leo out of the shadows.

Ch. 562War of the world cluster (13)

Leo and the wizards drew the Lords of Souls into a major battle, uncovering that the fighting was connected to a larger conflict at the soul passage. As powerful reinforcements joined the fray, Leo faced two Level-Four Lords of Souls and began attacking the one he had previously failed to kill.

  • A Level-Five Lord of Souls confronted Leo, but Interstellar Wanderer appeared and challenged him in turn.
  • Four more Lords of Souls arrived, revealing three Level-Five and three Level-Four enemies; Interstellar Wanderer’s words led Leo to realize the main battle was at the soul passage.
  • Boiling Blood Tyrant Body and a powerful Level-Five World Lord joined the wizards, and the World Lord transformed into a blue pureblood dragon to fight a Level-Five Lord of Souls.
  • Interstellar Wanderer and the World Lord engaged two Level-Five Lords of Souls, while Boiling Blood Tyrant Body attacked one Level-Four Lord and Leo took on the other two.
  • Leo activated his Earth Giant form and resisted the Lords of Souls’ attacks on his soul, then enveloped the Lord he had previously failed to assassinate in fourteen domains.

Ch. 563War of the World Cluster (14)

Leo killed three Level-Four Lords of Souls, then was ambushed by a hidden fourth Level-Five Lord of Souls and fled into the Shadow World with Yaoyao. He returned to the battlefield concealed, while the pursuer demonstrated that he could detect Leo’s passage into the Shadow World.

  • Leo used his domains and lightning to kill two Level-Four Lords of Souls, then helped Boiling Blood Tyrant Body kill the third.
  • A fourth Level-Five Lord of Souls appeared behind Leo, forcing him to flee as the others remained occupied in battle.
  • The Lord of Souls pursued Leo through the shadows, and Yaoyao took Leo into the Shadow World to escape.
  • The Lord of Souls realized Leo had entered the Shadow World and waited for two hours before rushing off in pursuit.
  • Leo returned to the battlefield and concealed himself with the Godslaying Wizard Robe, watching unseen as others passed nearby.

Ch. 564World Cluster War (15)

Leo and Yaoyao lured the Level-Five Lord of Souls into a strange space after discovering that he could track them because he wanted to consume Yaoyao and gain access to the Shadow World. With the rift sealed behind him, Leo invoked powers that would deprive the Lord of Souls of light, hearing, air, and energy.

  • The Lord of Souls found Leo and Yaoyao again, recognized Yaoyao as a living being from the Shadow World, and declared that he wanted to consume him.
  • Leo realized the Lord of Souls could track their return from the Shadow World and decided they had to kill him before he revealed their secret.
  • Leo and Yaoyao returned to the battlefield and lured the pursuing Lord of Souls into a strange space, escaping his pursuit by sealing the spatial rift behind them.
  • Leo stopped pretending to be afraid and invoked powers that would leave the Lord of Souls without light, hearing, air, or energy.

Ch. 565War of the World Cluster (16)

Leo used the Shadow Space’s laws to suppress and attack the Lord of Souls, confining him inside a miniature sun as the space’s energy rapidly dwindled. Though the Lord of Souls’ body was destroyed, Leo detected a hidden remnant of his soul, which was waiting for a chance to strike back.

  • Leo spoke commands that imposed darkness, silence, vacuum, and energy loss on the Lord of Souls, who realized Leo was directly wielding multiple laws.
  • The Lord of Souls unleashed enough power to shake the Shadow Space, but Leo contained the destruction within a thousand-meter radius and pinned him down with gravity.
  • Leo raised the Lord of Souls’ temperature and separated his body into a confined space, then filled it with tritium and deuterium atoms that fused in repeated explosions.
  • As the Shadow Space’s energy fell, the Lord of Souls’ body was destroyed, but he concealed a remnant of his soul while Leo sensed its presence.

Ch. 566World Cluster War (17)

Leo and Yaoyao defeated the Level-Five Lord of Souls by sustaining a nuclear fusion attack until his soul vanished. The Lord’s memories then revealed how Returning Breath World’s inhabitants grew through relentless killing and devouring, leaving Leo concerned about the threat they posed and eager to learn their soul techniques to revive Alice.

  • Leo spent his and Yaoyao’s supplies to replenish Shadow Space as its nuclear fusion attack drained the Lord of Souls’ last remnant of consciousness.
  • When Shadow Space’s energy fell to 30%, the Lord of Souls died, and Leo stopped enhancing the laws that powered the attack.
  • An image appeared where the Lord had been confined, showing his life from hatching through years of killing, devouring, and transforming.
  • Leo recognized the creature in the images as the Lord of Souls and identified the scenes as the original world of Returning Breath World.
  • Leo estimated that the Lord had reached level four in 600 to 800 years and concluded that Returning Breath World could produce powerful beings far faster than the Wizard World.
  • The memories showed the Lord leaving his world with others after reaching level four and beginning to learn how to control puppets.

Ch. 567World Cluster War (18)

After studying the Lords of Souls’ memories, Leo realized the war was feeding their strength by sending collected souls through the Soul Passage to the Returning Breath World. He emerged from Shadow Space to find the wizard army advancing, but understood that the prolonged fighting could produce a new generation of Lords of Souls within a few hundred years.

  • Leo learned that the Lords of Souls grew stronger by absorbing the soul power of their puppets and sending collected dead souls through the Soul Passage to be transformed in the Returning Breath World.
  • Leo considered using the Soul Passage to infiltrate the Returning Breath World, but judged the ongoing battles there too dangerous and contemplated sending a soul fragment instead.
  • Yaoyao reported that the recent battle had damaged about 2% of Shadow Space, with a permanent loss of only 1% of its plants and animals.
  • Leo wondered why the Level-Five Lord of Souls had left no world origin power behind when he died in Shadow Space, then left to check the war outside.
  • Leo emerged in the Gran World and saw the wizard army pursuing and destroying the puppet forces, but recognized that the deaths were supplying souls to the Lords of Souls.
  • Leo estimated that the war could enable the Lords of Souls to mass-produce Level-Four members, potentially confronting the wizard army with vast numbers in just over three hundred years.

Ch. 568World Cluster War (19)

Leo surveyed the Mecha Wizards fighting in Gran World, then returned to the mothership after two years out of contact and learned the war was under control. He checked his battle merits and decided to seek the Black Skull Stigmata Wizard’s system of knowledge, having recognized that its skeletal body was made of souls.

  • Leo watched the Mecha Wizards and their Gulu Beast allies battle the puppet army, and judged that the war would end in about four years.
  • Leo read the messages in his Fate Wizard Book and returned to the mothership, where Purple-Gold Vine praised his record and told him there were no new missions.
  • Leo learned that the level-five pureblood blue dragon and Interstellar Wanderer had defeated their opponents while the last Level-Five Lord of Souls escaped.
  • Leo concealed his own kill of a Level-Five Lord of Souls and reflected that Shadow Space would need centuries to recover enough energy for him to repeat it.
  • Leo checked his 14.25 battle merits and asked how many were needed to obtain the Black Skull Stigmata Wizard’s system of knowledge.
  • Leo realized that the Black Skull Stigmata Great Wizard’s skeletal body had been composed of souls.

Ch. 569World Cluster War (20)

Leo studied soul knowledge while the war in Gran World neared its end, then Purple-Gold Vine ordered him to reinforce the Soul Passage. Leo accompanied him into the shattered, perilous battlefield, where he sensed Soul-Devouring Seal’s runes but could not see the Soul Passage or its wielder.

  • Leo exchanged all 14.25 of his battle merits for knowledge of Soul Traction, Soul Cognition, and Soul Modification, then studied it during the war.
  • Boiling Blood Tyrant Body visited Leo and said the war in Gran World would likely end within two years, unaware of the top-secret threat posed by Returning Breath World.
  • Leo finished studying the soul knowledge, and Purple-Gold Vine summoned him and Boiling Blood Tyrant Body as the war neared its end.
  • Purple-Gold Vine assigned Boiling Blood Tyrant Body to remain aboard the mothership and ordered Leo to help reinforce the Soul Passage, protect World Lords, and disrupt the Lords of Souls' plan.
  • Leo declared his willingness to take the dangerous mission, and Purple-Gold Vine promised to double the battle merits he earned within his authority.
  • Purple-Gold Vine brought Leo to Gran World's shattered pole, where Leo sensed Soul-Devouring Seal's sealing runes amid the chaotic energy but could not locate the Soul Passage.

Ch. 570World Cluster War (21)

Leo joined the battle at the Interstellar Wanderer's position and killed two Lords of Souls to relieve pressure on the wounded World Lords. He then warned the survivors to move away while Yaoyao searched for the soul passage so he could pursue his own plan.

  • Leo noticed that the Lords of Souls greatly outnumbered the earlier count and that only six of the original thirteen World Lords remained.
  • Purple-Gold Vine ordered Leo to help the Interstellar Wanderer, while Leo sent Yaoyao to locate the soul passage and prepare to cast his soul into it.
  • Leo used his domains to weaken one Level-Four Lord of Souls and killed him with Thunder Destruction Grand Witchcraft.
  • Leo weakened and killed the second Lord of Souls attacking the World Lords, giving the Interstellar Wanderer relief from the battle.
  • Leo told the four wounded World Lords to move farther away so they would not be caught in the fighting.

Ch. 571World Cluster War (22)

Leo was pursued by a Level-Five Lord of Souls after the Lords of Souls targeted him, while Yaoyao found the soul passage and confirmed the soul-splitting plan could proceed. The Interstellar Wanderer arrived just in time to protect Leo and turned his attack on the Lord of Souls.

  • The Lords of Souls sent their Level-Five fighter after Leo while the three Level-Four Lords of Souls held off the Interstellar Wanderer, who quickly killed all three and pursued Leo.
  • Yaoyao reached the soul passage and contacted Leo to say the area was safe for the soul-splitting plan.
  • Leo fled the Level-Five Lord of Souls, using atomic bombs to slow his pursuer and guide the Interstellar Wanderer toward him.
  • Leo taunted the Lord of Souls into using a soul attack, and the attack weakened Leo enough for the enemy to catch up.
  • The Interstellar Wanderer shielded Leo from the Lord of Souls' attacks, then summoned starlight to strike back.

Ch. 572War of the World Cluster (23)

Leo faked a grave injury to conceal his soul-splitting plan, then hid aboard the mothership while his soul fragment entered the Returning Breath World. Three months later, the fragment awakened in a frail beetle body, and Leo seized an opportunity to enter a stronger beast.

  • Leo and Yaoyao sent his torn-off soul fragment through the soul passage, while Leo planned to pretend he needed decades to recover.
  • Leo returned to the mothership, convinced Boiling Blood Tyrant Body that he was gravely wounded, and hid in his room.
  • Leo secretly monitored the battlefield and waited as the fragment passed the Returning Breath World's inspection and awakened.
  • Leo found himself in a bleeding beetle body in the Returning Breath World, which was close to bursting from the power of his awakening soul.
  • Leo leaped into a passing beast's mouth and burrowed down its throat into its stomach.

Ch. 573World Cluster War (24)

Leo's beetle clone devoured two energy-bearing beasts, evolved into an energy life-form, and used soul-control witchcraft to kill one of them. After gaining independent consciousness and naming himself Black Soluo, the clone remained in the Returning Breath World while Leo returned to the mothership, where the world-origin information he had received reached him through their shared consciousness.

  • Leo's beetle clone ate a beast and rapidly evolved into an energy life-form with a powerful body.
  • The clone used a beast's trapped soul to attack a larger beast, then killed and devoured it, absorbing both souls.
  • Leo recognized that his stigmata-level soul let him control souls far beyond what the beetle's weak body could normally manage.
  • The clone told Leo that he had developed independent consciousness and named himself Black Soluo.
  • Leo returned his consciousness to the mothership, and Black Soluo sent the Returning Breath World's information to him through their shared sea of consciousness.

Ch. 574World Cluster War (25)

Leo absorbed Returning Breath World’s inherited knowledge through his Black Soluo clone and discovered that it indoctrinated newborn souls with fanatical loyalty. After the wizard army’s victory in Gran World, the returning commanders gathered to assess the war and authorize resource development.

  • Black Soluo received Returning Breath World’s vast inherited knowledge, and Leo found that it included indoctrination designed to make its inhabitants fiercely loyal to the world.
  • Leo concluded that Returning Breath World’s origin will seemed suspicious, while his clone safely integrated into the world and would need to reach level four before helping him.
  • The wizard army defeated the puppet army, and Leo learned that many academy wizards and Gulu Beasts survived, though both groups suffered losses.
  • Half a year later, Purple-Gold Vine and the other commanders returned to the mothership, where the Wizard Alliance’s thirteen members at level four or higher assembled.
  • Purple-Gold Vine praised the victory and announced that 30% of their forces would develop Gran World, with half the resources kept by those who gathered them.

Ch. 575War of the World Cluster (26)

After the battle, Purple-Gold Vine judged the mission only a partial success because the Lords of Souls had escaped with many souls, and ordered Leo to heal quickly and remain ready for further missions. Leo then met the God of Giants, who offered him troops and gifts while seeking to build their relationship, before Leo returned to the mothership with increased assets and four battle merit points.

  • Purple-Gold Vine told the Stigmata Wizards that they had failed to fully block the soul passage and ordered Leo to obtain healing potions and stay ready for orders.
  • The God of Giants invited Leo to his encampment, described his business hiring out giants and selling resources, and offered Leo discounted troops.
  • Leo declined the offer for now, but accepted the God of Giants' hospitality and several wizard-tool rings as advancement gifts.
  • Leo returned to the mothership and checked his Fate Wizard Book, which recorded four battle merit points for killing two Level-Four Lords of Souls.
