"So, I can leave now?" Shen Heng looked at Wang Hai with some surprise.
The investigation wasn't even fully finished yet, and Wang Hai actually let him leave. This was something Shen Heng hadn't expected; he had thought he wouldn't be able to leave until the matter was resolved.
Wang Hai glanced at Shen Heng and nodded.

"Okay, then I'll head back to the Supervision Bureau first," Shen Heng replied.

Shen Heng turned and walked towards the Supervision Bureau.
The Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Supervision Bureau are both located in the same industrial park, except that the Public Security Bureau occupies three buildings while the Supervision Bureau occupies nine buildings, and the two are about ten minutes apart.
