Background

Ye Lin belongs to the main branch of the Ye clan, a family with several centuries of history. Its business, the Ye Corporation, is described as one of the world’s top hundred major companies. His biological younger sister, Ye Mo, was deliberately switched at birth and abandoned far from the family. He is notably accepting of Ye Mo’s love of money. Rather than treating it as a character flaw, he points out that even their wealthy family continues working to earn money.
