"Killing a policeman? You really dare! Then even more police will come, and you'll be finished!"

"Then what do you suggest we do?"

Listening to their discussion, the village chief frowned deeply and said:

"Let's take Delia there first, then tell the ghost about those two policemen, and have the ghost come and kill them!"

"Is... this okay?"

The village chief explained, "These two policemen have been in contact with Delia and Delia mother. Letting them go is definitely not an option. If the demons kill Delia's mother too, then even if the other policemen come later, it won't matter!"

Upon hearing this, the others could only nod in agreement.

"Grandpa Village Chief, Delia will go with you obediently, please let Mommy and them go!" Delia raised her tear-streaked face and looked at the village chief with pleading and helplessness in her eyes.

The village chief glanced at Delia indifferently, his eyes showing no ripples or wavering. He ignored Delia's request and instead pointed to the two people beside him.

"You two go over to the hotel and keep an eye on them, don't let those two wander off!"

"Then it's decided! I'll teach Nezuko cooking and flower arranging from now on!"

Kanae raised her hand and gently patted her cheek, smiling as she looked at Nezuko.

Nezuko nodded seriously.

"Hmm, cooking and flower arrangement!"

Teiichi watched this heartwarming scene quietly from the side, a faint smile playing on his lips, and asked:

"By the way, can Nezuko read?"

"You can... read?" Nezuko tilted her head.

"Then it seems we also need to add literacy!" Kanae added with a smile.

Teiichi chuckled softly, reached out and raised his teacup to take a sip, but abruptly stopped halfway up the cup before slowly lowering it.

Kanae keenly noticed the situation, shifting her gaze from the rain outside the window to Teiichi's face, without asking any questions to disturb Teiichi.

Teiichi turned his head to look out the window, his gaze seemingly reaching beyond the curtain of rain to see into a more distant direction.

According to the Wind Field perception, two of the people leading Delia walked towards the inn, while the remaining three continued walking out of the village with Delia in their hands.

Is this... a sacrifice?

But isn't it still early before the sacrifice?

Teiichi frowned slightly.

He believed what he was seeing more than what Delia's mother had said about the timing of the sacrifice.

Fortunately, because it was raining and there was no sun, I turned on the Wind Field just in case, otherwise I would have really missed this.

"What's wrong?" Kanae asked softly.

Teiichi glanced at Kanae and replied:

"The village chief took Delia and headed out of the village!"

"Are we taking Delia to the sacrifice? But it's not time yet?" Kanae frowned slightly.

Teiichi picked up the teacup he had put down again, drank the tea in it in one gulp, then stood up and said:

"I don't know, but I have to go out!"

"I'll go with you too!" Kanae stood up as well.

Teiichi replied, "No need. It would be troublesome for you to go on a rainy day. Besides, although I suspect the village chief took Delia there for the sacrifice, there's no guarantee the ghost won't come. Staying in the village will also help avoid some unforeseen situations!"

"But..." Kanae still hesitated.

Teiichi and said, "How about this, you go and comfort Delia's mother!"

Kanae was slightly taken aback upon hearing this, but quickly recovered and nodded.

The two quickly went downstairs.

The innkeeper, sitting in front of the door, saw Teiichi Nezuko Kanae, and said with a smile:

"With such heavy rain, are you two still going out?"

"Yes, something's come up!" Teiichi, then asked, "Boss, do you have a straw hat and a raincoat I can borrow?"

"Yes! Yes! I'll get them for you right away! Three sets, right?"

"Yes, two adults and one child!"

"Yes, I know that!" the hotel owner replied with a smile.

After receiving the raincoat and straw hat from the innkeeper, Teiichi, Kanae, and the other two put them on and headed outside.

" Kenta, if the police catch that ghost, do you think we'll have to go back to the miserable life we used to live?" Junichi asked Kenta beside him.

Kenta paused for a moment before replying, "Isn't that obvious? Without this ghost, how could our annual grain production possibly increase so much!"

Upon hearing this, Junichi angrily said, "Why did they have to come now of all times? My family's house was only sent there earlier this year! How infuriating!!"

"What do you think we should do if they want to leave?" Kenta suddenly asked.

"Follow them and see where they go! As long as they don't leave our village, it's fine. Once we know where they're going, we'll just run back and tell the village chief!"

Junichi replied, then looked at Kenta with some confusion.

Why are you suddenly asking this question?

Kenta stopped and pointed ahead.

"Because they don't know where they're going!"

Junichi looked up and glanced at the three people walking towards him from a distance.

They wore raincoats and straw hats, obscuring their faces.

But with a height of 1.9 meters, they knew who it was even without looking.

Junichi quickly lowered his head and tugged at Kenta's sleeve.

"Hurry, pretend nothing happened, let's secretly follow them!"

Kenta nodded upon hearing this, and the two lowered their heads and stopped talking, walking forward in silence.

The two sides approached quickly, then passed each other, and then...

Bang! Bang!

After knocking the two unconscious, Teiichi dragged them to the eaves of a nearby building, then looked at Kanae and said:

"You take Nezuko to Delia's mother's house and comfort her! I'll go with the village chief and the others!"

"Yes!" Kanae nodded.

After parting ways with Kanae, Teiichi used the Wind Field to hang far behind the village chief and the others.

We walked a long way along the mountain path before finally stopping.

Teiichi slightly raised his eyes and looked in the direction where the village chief and the others were.

Have we arrived at our destination?

Teiichi didn't go forward; he just stood there and waited, intending to go up after the ghost came out.

The heavy rain continued to fall.

Raindrops pattered incessantly on the straw hat, making a crisp, rhythmic "drip-drip" sound.

After an unknown amount of time, a figure finally emerged from the depths of the dense forest and quickly arrived beside the village chief and the others.

"Goddess! This is the girl our village is offering to you this time!" The village chief said, pointing at Delia and addressing the evil spirit before him.

"Okay, next time, deliver it to the mountain half an hour west of your village!" The figure nodded.

"Okay!" the village chief replied.

After waiting for a while, the evil spirit looked up at the village chief.

Why aren't you leaving yet!

The village chief pleaded with the evil spirit:

"Two policemen came to our village, and their investigation has run into some trouble. We'd like to ask the Goddess to go and kill those two policemen!"

"Police?"
