Something more important than memories
The meeting has adjourned.
The crowd began to get up and disperse.
There will be no Hashira Battles at this Hashira Meeting.
After all, the pillars will be gathering together for training in a few days, and there will be plenty of opportunities for sparring and fighting then, so this one won't make a difference.
Everyone needs to go home now to pack some things, so that it will be easier later.
The meeting place is still undecided.
Amane Ubuyashiki left early to discuss and arrange these matters with Kagaya Ubuyashiki.
Once they have made their decision, the specific details will be communicated to them through the Kasugai Crow.
Seeing that most of the crowd had dispersed, Teiichi also stood up, preparing to take Kanae and Shinobu back to the Butterfly Mansion. Just as he was about to leave, his gaze paused slightly.
It stopped on Muichiro, who was still sitting in his original seat.
"Muichiro!" Teiichi raised his hand and beckoned to Muichiro.
Upon Muichiro silently stood up and walked over. "What's wrong, Master?"
"Don't you have anything to pack?" Teiichi asked.
"Besides a few clothes, there's nothing to pack. Besides, I have some regular team members training there, and they'll be coming over soon. I can just ask them to bring me a couple of clothes!" Muichiro replied, shaking his head.
Upon Teiichi, Teiichi looked at Muichiro more closely.
Although Muichiro himself might not feel anything, others might feel sorry for Muichiro.
Yes, including Teiichi!
This is why Teiichi always invites Muichiro over during the New Year.
Although the other pillars are also mostly composed of individuals, their advanced age is a significant factor.
The second youngest Pillar in the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu Kocho, is already 18 years old. In later times, 18 would be considered an adult, let alone now.
So if they were alone, no one would feel sorry for them, but Muichiro is only 14 years old.
Although he could be considered an adult in this day and age, at least Teiichi still felt a little sorry for Muichiro.
Seemingly understanding what Teiichi meant, Kanae smiled gently at Muichiro:
"Would you like to come back to the Butterfly Mansion with us?"
Upon Muichiro silently turned his head to look at Teiichi.
"Master, is this alright?"
Teiichi chuckled softly and said gently, "Of course you can. Didn't I tell you? Just treat Butterfly Mansion as your home!"
Muichiro stared blankly at Teiichi, nodded, and said nothing more.
The group quickly arrived outside and walked along the corridor. Kanao chuckled and instructed:
"Perfect timing! If Muichiro goes to the Butterfly Mansion, we won't need the team members to bring over his clothes. They happen to have some of the Butterfly Mansion 'Muichiro clothes that he left there!"
"Hmm!" Muichiro nodded slightly; he didn't care much about these things.
The group walked along the corridor and soon turned a corner.
What comes into view is a little girl sitting under the eaves, her hands on the wooden floor, her head tilted back, basking in the sun.
"Nezuko, let's go home!" Teiichi called out to Nezuko.
Upon hearing the sound, Nezuko quickly turned her head and saw the familiar figure. A smile immediately appeared on Nezuko lips.
"Okay!"
Having said that, Nezuko stopped her wobbling feet, stood up, and ran over.
"Nezuko, it's been a long time!" Shinobu Kocho chuckled and gently ruffled Nezuko's hair.
"Yes! Shinobu-neechan, it's been a long time!" Nezuko responded to Shinobu Kocho's greeting with a smile.
Kanae and Shinobu came from the Butterfly Mansion, while Teiichi brought Nezuko directly from the new Swordsmith Village Swordsmith Village after moving the villagers there.
So Shinobu Kocho hadn't seen Nezuko for almost a month, so she was naturally very happy to see her now.
Kanae watched the scene unfold with a light smile.
They traveled in silence, and it took them half a day to return to the Butterfly Mansion.
I ran into Aoi Kanzaki is now practically the head of the Butterfly Mansion, as soon as I got back.
"Teiichi- nii, you're back!" Aoi Kanzaki was startled to see Teiichi, then greeted him happily.
"Hmm, good morning... good afternoon!" Teiichi smile.
"Aoi, why didn't you say hello to us?" Shinobu Kocho raised an eyebrow.
"Huh? Shinobu-nee, didn't you just leave this morning?" Aoi Kanzaki asked, somewhat surprised.
"Even though we only got back this morning, we still got back! And you didn't even say hello to us!" Shinobu Kocho said, feigning anger.
"Hmm," Kanae chuckled softly, then said, "Alright, Shinobu, stop teasing Aoi!"
After saying that, Kanae looked at Aoi Kanzaki and asked, "Where are Kanon and Kanao?"
"Oh, Kanon- nee took Kanao and the other members at the Butterfly Mansion to train!" Aoi Kanzaki replied.
"Okay! Then you can go ahead and get busy!" Kanae nodded in response.
"Okay!" Aoi Kanzaki nodded in response.
The two passed each other when suddenly, Aoi Kanzaki called out from behind.
"Kanae, Shinobu-nee, welcome back! Oh... and Nezuko and Muichiro too!"
Upon hearing this, Kanae couldn't help but smile and replied gently:
"Okay, thank you!"
After saying goodbye to Aoi Kanzaki, the group quickly arrived at Tamayo's room.
When Tamayo saw that Teiichi had also come along, she was slightly taken aback, a hint of surprise flashing in her clear eyes. She quickly recovered, her lips parted slightly, and she asked softly:
"Teiichi, Muzan Kibutsuji Nezuko turned into a human?"
"Hmm!" Teiichi nodded slightly, then said, "So now I'm here to ask you to cooperate in turning Nezuko back into a human!"
Upon hearing this, Tamayo's gentle gaze slowly shifted to Nezuko.
Nezuko stood obediently to the side, her eyes filled with a hint of bewilderment and innocence.
The group arrived at a medical room.
Guided by Tamayo, Nezuko lay quietly on the clean bed.
Tamayo then took a syringe from a wooden box and began to explain.
"This is the potion that Kanae-sama, Kanae- sama, and I have been developing over this period of time—a potion that can turn demons into humans!"
"Once injected into Nezuko's body, Nezuko can turn back into a human!"
Teiichi nodded, then, as if remembering something, asked:
"Nezuko is currently suffering from amnesia. After turning into a human, will she be able to recall her past memories?"
Upon hearing Tamayo turned her gaze back to Nezuko, her eyes filled with inquiry and contemplation.
She lowered her head slightly, furrowed her brows, and after a moment of contemplation, said:
"Actually, according to my research, Nezuko isn't incapable of regaining her memories; rather, her instincts prioritize things more important than simply recovering them!"
