first.

Thank you so much to every reader who has made it this far!

This book was created on May 24, 2024, and completed on February 6, 2025, taking 259 days and containing a total of 1.1 million words.

This finally brings us to an end!

But actually...

Well...

Actually, this book was originally scheduled to be completed in early November according to the original outline.

The original outline, after Teiichi the six Upper Rank, was: first a simple transition, then support the Swordsmith Village, and then the final battle.

Yes, there was no Entertainment District arc, no subsequent separate missions, and even the Swordsmith Village was just a direct support mission; there was no connection between Mitsuri and the Mitsuri Village.

The reason it has become like this is because...

After finishing six Upper Rank, I thought I'd just do another month of perfect attendance, and then I wrote the "Entertainment District" chapter.

Then the Entertainment District arc came out, and the book's word count reached seven or eight hundred thousand.

Tomato has a recommendation for 1 million words, so... uh... you know...

This is probably why the overall quality of the later parts wasn't as good as the earlier ones. (Just my personal opinion)

After all, knowing that Teiichi can take on six Upper Rank by himself, this work has already lost its biggest selling point as a novel—the sense of anticipation or, rather, the sense of crisis!

Front,

Seeing Teiichi Kokushibo when he wasn't strong enough might motivate everyone.

Seeing Teiichi forced into the Infinity Castle by the six Upper Rank might make everyone tense.

But from the Teiichi first emerged from the Infinity Castle, everyone understood that there was no problem in this world that could Teiichi. (emmm... in terms of strength)

What I'm most curious about later is how they finally dealt with Muzan and his group, and what happened with Kanae.

Speaking of Kanae, uh...

Alas, it's a pity I can't write sweet romance stories...

Then there's Mitsuri. Mitsuri wasn't originally involved, but we had to call her in to reach the word count.

I called her out, but since I hadn't taken her in earlier, it felt awkward to take her in again...

After all, Teiichi's affection level would definitely be higher than Mitsuri's, but it was originally said that there would be only one female lead, so Shinobu and Kanon's scenes were reduced.

Sigh, that's how the romance story is going to be...

Next, Fuyou me share my own thoughts on this book.

This book was originally written as practice, so I chose to write a fanfiction.

And perhaps it's due to the inherent flaws of a novice author.

I want to write a lighthearted, enjoyable story that readers enjoy reading nowadays, and gain their approval; however, because I am a veteran online novel reader with more than ten years of experience, I don't really think much of purely lighthearted stories.

The first dozen or so chapters were intended to be written as a light novel; then I thought that this book was originally meant to be a practice piece, so why write a light novel? So I started to write it in Fuyou way that I felt might have a slightly more story.

That's why we have the two storylines at the beginning: Yamada Town and Aomori City.

In both storylines, in the Yamada Town setting, Teiichi Pillar, while in the Aomori City setting, Teiichi's strength has completely reached that of a Pillar.

In order to avoid a situation like in the original story where the Pillars kill the demons with a single blow, I designed their Blood Demon Art to be very special.

In Yamada Town, there are Burrowing Demon; in Aomori City, there are Sick Demon.

They are all the type that aren't strong in skirmishes, but are difficult to deal with if you can't find them directly.

I don't want to write mindless wish-fulfillment stories, so both of them are actually thinking, which makes things even more difficult.

In my setting, apart from Dingyi who might be able to forcefully dig into the ground and chase after them for Teiichi later on, no one else can Ueya up with the Burrowing Demon.

As for Sick Demon, apart from Tanjiro who has built-in GPS and can locate demons, no one else can be found.

In this situation, coupled with my own lack of writing skills and insufficient descriptive power in various aspects, I ended up putting Teiichi Fuyou too much pressure, and there was a lack of feedback from other characters about the difficulty of that event afterward.

These two storylines might have been unpleasant to watch, which led to a lot of criticism at the time.

Of course, there were also those who praised it.

However... the inherent flaws of humanity...

He takes praise lightly, but holds grudges against criticism...

Because of the numerous criticisms he received, the subsequent events leading to his departure from the team took a different turn.

The scene where he leaves the team was originally designed to be part of a later storyline set in Inada Town.

Teiichi went there and met a little girl, and then gradually learned that the whole village was sacrificing children to ghosts.

Then, Teiichi the first time, and the ghost wouldn't come.

The second time, they went down with the village chief, but the ghost still didn't come.

The third time, the little girl volunteered, then hesitated for Teiichi moment, but ultimately decided to take her with him to avoid more deaths in the future.

Although Teiichi successfully defeated the water ghost, however...

Despite Teiichi's best efforts to avoid it, the little girl still perished in the process...

This led to the decision to leave the team.

but...

I was criticized earlier for Teiichi the main character and for things not going smoothly for me.

So I hesitated for a while and changed it to the current plot (later, when I ran out of things to write, I brought it out again).

But after finishing that plot, I don't know if it's because no one died, but it felt like it lacked the impact I had imagined, so I thought it would be better to just write it the way it was originally...

For this reason, and because negative reviews are rather upsetting, I basically stopped reading reviews after that point...

Hmm... Now that I think about it, it seems like I can't completely ignore it. Sometimes I have to take a look to see where I wrote something wrong.

Sigh, never mind, I'll think about it in the next book.

all in all.

Initially, I wanted to write a lighthearted, enjoyable story; later, I wanted to write something interesting; then, comments affected the plot; then there was the padding later on; and finally, my writing skills weren't good enough. These factors combined to create this work.

Fuyou personally have mixed feelings about this work...

The good thing is, there are still some parts of the storyline that I personally felt were quite good.

The downside is that my writing skills aren't good enough to capture the feeling I wanted, and the later parts weren't as interesting.

So, in this situation, for the readers who manage to see the end, I really...

Thank you so much!!!

Alright, I've said everything I needed to say, so this book officially comes to an end here!

There will be no further updates.

at last.

Thank you again to every reader who has made it this far!!!

So, gentlemen

Take care on your journey!!!
