Clock Tower
Clock Tower, Waver was browsing documents in the library. After experiencing the Holy Grail War, his temperament had clearly matured considerably, and some of his classmates even called him the "grown-up Waver." Waver could now ignore this unpleasant nickname without feeling any joy or sorrow.
Looking at the Holy Relic placed in his bag, Waver felt a surge of strength. Just as he was about to continue his study, a soft knock came from outside the window.
Waver looked out the window, and the next moment his composure shattered like a helicopter crashing from the sky.
He was so startled that he fell to the ground with a thud, the stool groaning and attracting the attention of everyone in the library. But Waver was completely oblivious to all of that, because Bai Mo was standing outside the window, waving at him.
"Why are you here?! Honestly, you should at least have told me before you came."
Walking down the corridor of the Clock Tower, Waver muttered to himself as he pulled Bai Mo along.
It was impossible to fully understand the Clock Tower, an ancient Magecraft base that had existed for countless years, based solely on the limited information Touko Aozaki had. Therefore, Bai Mo simply chose to find someone he knew nearby.
"Sorry, but I'm in a hurry. I left five minutes ago. So, it doesn't really matter whether I send a message or not, right? Besides, I don't even have your contact information." Bai Mo chatted with Waver while probing the surrounding magic.
Waver's lips twitched as he calculated in his mind that the distance between Japan and London was approximately 9,560 kilometers. If it only took five minutes, then Bai Mo's speed would be at least four times the first cosmic velocity (the speed of a satellite orbiting the Earth).
Neither human technology nor Magecraft can achieve this speed. At this moment, Waver suddenly had the thought, "So Magecraft is nothing special after all."
If Bai Mo were just visiting, Waver would be happy to show him around London, but since he had urgent business, it would be better to see his teacher first. Waver knocked on Kayneth's door.
"I'll go open the door."
Kayneth's voice came from behind the door. Waver was puzzled. Usually, he would have to introduce himself in this situation, but now Kayneth was the one who opened the door.
The wooden door opened a crack, Kayneth cautiously peeked out. Seeing Waver, he quickly made a shushing gesture and whispered, "Waver? What are you doing here? I have urgent business to attend to, get out of here."
A deep male voice came from inside the room. "No need, let them in. The people I'm waiting for have arrived."
Kayneth immediately stepped aside and actually opened the door himself, which made Waver hesitant to enter, as if the room in front of him was an abyss.
Bai Mo patted him on the back and said, "Since they've let us in, let's go." After saying that, he walked into the room. Facing Kayneth's terrifying expression that said, "If you dare to embarrass me, I'll kill you," Waver swallowed hard and forced himself to go in.
Seated in the main seat was a sprightly old man with white hair, who gestured to Bai Mo to sit down.
Inside El-Melloi's Lord's office, only Kayneth, the room's owner, remained standing, a rather eerie scene. The white-haired old man waved his hand and said, "Alright, Mr. Kayneth, could you please go to the Sealing Designation and speak with Mr. Carillon to cancel the Sealing Designation for Touko Aozaki?"
"Understood." Kayneth gave Waver a warning look, then left without looking back, not even bothering with the Touko briefcase in Bai Mo's hand.
"No need for introductions. In the original plan, we shouldn't have met so soon, Mr. Bai Mo," the old man said to Bai Mo. His body was like a black hole, with no end in sight.
"Did I come at the wrong time?" Bai Mo asked, somewhat puzzled. The old man in front of him nodded solemnly and said, "But since you're here, I have something to give you. Don't refuse yet. After all, we have more experience dealing with Magecraft like Araya Souren."
after a while--
Inside a room with seven prisms on each side, Bai Mo stood still and asked, looking up at the sky, "Is this what you were talking about?"
"That's right, just go ahead and do it."
In Bai Mo's perception, behind each of the seven prisms stood a Magecraft, and this place was a huge Magecraft barrier. The seven Magecraft held scepters, and True Magic circles appeared beneath their feet. This room was indeed a huge Magecraft barrier.
"So, what are you here for?" Facing the best of the seven Magecraft, Bai Mo didn't care at all. The seven didn't answer, but simply activated their Magecraft. The next moment, a huge stream of light kept flowing in the mirror.
"Your question will be answered after the experiment. Now, please allow me to explain this barrier to you."
The lead Magecraft bowed to Bai Mo and explained, "This Magecraft barrier, ' Mirror Room,' is a simple yet brutally powerful Magecraft. Just as light refracts when it encounters a mirror, even the most basic Gandri will refract infinitely within this Magecraft barrier, unleashing extremely terrifying power."
The female Magecraft on the other side continued, "Our attack has already been amplified hundreds of times. I advise you to act as soon as possible, otherwise, if you continue, the power may get out of our control."
Inside the Mirror Room, the magical light almost overwhelmed the surroundings, making it impossible to look directly at.
"Really? This thing has a control limit?" Bai Mo's voice remained calm. The next moment, he actually began to actively inject energy into it, and instantly, a cracking sound came from the Mirror Room.
If it can handle 100,000 horsepower, then let's give it another try?
Having said that, Bai Mo's output of power suddenly increased again, and a Magecraft shouted, "What are you doing? Do you want to break through this barrier directly? Regardless of whether you can do it or not, even if you succeed, you will not escape death!"
Then, mirrors began to shatter, and energy surged forth like a monstrous dragon emerging from the sea, creating towering waves.
"Damn it, the barrier is about to be destroyed! This power is far beyond our control. If it gets out of control, it might blow Big Ben into space. Quickly, go and ask the Marshal for instructions!"
The next second, disbelief filled the eyes of all the Magecraft: they had already replicated the Second Magic to some extent, yet they couldn't hold on? How could this be?
The barrier shattered with a crash, but the immense power did not dissipate. Instead, like birds returning to their nests, it gathered in Bai Mo's hands. Watching him manipulate the invisible energy like a toy, a deep sense of awe rose in everyone's hearts.
Bai Mo frowned slightly, then waved his hand, and the enormous energy dissipated like smoke.
In this world, the source of magic is often the life force of the Magecraft, since the current environment is no longer the era of gods. However, Bai Mo has been researching these methods of magic conversion. If he can thoroughly study them and even apply them to other situations, then perhaps he can try to transform Magnetic Field Power into life force.
It's not about Cellular Regeneration, but about bringing life back to inanimate objects, like withered trees coming back to life. If this can be achieved, it would be considered that, to some extent, we've reached the threshold of the Asura Way during the Martial God era.
This fusion of power was also an experiment; such a massive amount of magic was unprecedented, even surpassing that of Fran in the Black Mud. However, while there were some clues, it was still a blind exploration, and there was still a long way to go.
An old man with white hair appeared before Bai Mo, and the seven Magecraft immediately bowed to him.
"So, sir, what do you mean by this? Although I respect the elderly, it doesn't mean I have no temper."
Faced with Bai Mo's questioning, the white-haired old man smiled faintly and said, "Araya Souren has escaped the Counter Force's pursuit several times, making him extremely adept at self-preservation. These people are the experts who deal with him."
Bai Mo frowned and asked, "These people?"
"That's right. After you deal with Araya Souren, they will be responsible for making his soul disappear from this world, and you will never encounter him again. But these people were all a bit arrogant at first, after all, strength is the ultimate authority," the white-haired old man replied calmly.
The lead Magecraft bowed to Bai Mo and said, "We will Sealing Designation Araya Souren, and will fully cooperate with you, Mr. Bai Mo."
Bai Mo tacitly agreed to the suggestion, as he was fed up with these Magecraft who kept dying and coming back to life. Sometimes he couldn't help but sigh at how wonderful the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception were. It was a pity that Shiki Ryougi still had too many mysteries surrounding her; otherwise, Bai Mo could have simply taken her along and solved everything.
"Oh, right, there's one more thing."
The white-haired old man changed the subject, saying, "I want to give you a heads-up. For [herself], everything is a dream in her eyes, so whether it's a beautiful dream or a nightmare, [herself] will accept it gladly. Well, that's all I have to say. What you do next is up to you."
"Wait, what do you mean by that?"
Before Bai Mo could answer, the scenery around Bai Mo suddenly changed, and he and the seven Magecraft arrived directly from the Clock Tower to the Garan no Dou. Touko, standing to the side, was dumbfounded, his cigarette falling onto his trousers and emitting a wisp of smoke.
