Training and Breakthroughs

• Daily cultivation: Diligent training accumulates power and develops reliable control 104 115.
• Life-or-death combat: At the limits of survival, emotion and will can drive a breakthrough. Releasing accumulated training at that moment can produce a greater increase 7 104.
• Suitable environment: Ordinary cultivation cannot overcome the absence of an appropriate magnetic field environment. Even exceptional talent may remain trapped at Electric Current Push without resources to simulate one 136 160 370.
• Personal qualification: A suitable environment does not guarantee advancement. Talent, emotion, understanding, and disposition remain necessary 142 171 343.
• High-level mental cultivation: From 970,000 horsepower onward, users must temper their minds and characters; the resulting differences in power are enormous 413.

External energy is not a direct substitute for cultivation. Chiyome’s attempt to use Ibuki-Douji’s energy provides only a three-minute opportunity, with a possible ceiling of 80,000 horsepower. Without the necessary breakthrough, the energy is wasted 343.

Origin and Introduction to the World

Magnetic Field Power comes from the Magnetic Field World. Its history is associated with Landao Tianwu and the “blue dream” that began five hundred thousand years of conflict. Later struggles repeatedly inherited the opposition between Sea Tiger and Oga, including the Bai Family against Blue Country and Martial Gods against Heavenly Kings 134 444.

The system carried Sources of Power and the souls of powerful fighters into other worlds, seeking someone who could destroy and remake a world into a Magnetic Field World. Its earliest candidate died without learning proper control; another reached 150,000 horsepower under Giant Shark but refused to carry out the transformation 136.

Shi Tianwu later reveals that the system’s departure was permitted as an experiment into whether Magnetic Field Power could have other possibilities outside its original world. Bai Wunan accompanied it as a safeguard 137 141.

The system engineered Bai Mo’s fatal traffic accident and attached a Source of Power to his damaged soul. Rather than fully fusing it, the system left the Source removable as a means of control 108 136. Sources subsequently appeared at different points in spacetime, reaching humans, gods, beasts, and other supernatural beings 142 160 471.

• Its spatial effects are described as brute force taken to an extreme. The veteran powerhouses encourage Bai Mo to study the world’s native spatial abilities rather than wait for the Ultimate 256.

Soul, Body, and Lifespan

Fusion and Transfer

Magnetic Field Power normally fuses with the soul and cannot subsequently disappear or be transferred. Bai Mo describes a fully fused soul as immortal and indestructible 160 172.

Bodily Death

• Soul survival is not bodily immortality: Even a 990,000-horsepower user has a limited physical lifespan 530.
• Typical lifespan: A standard powerhouse lives approximately three hundred years. As the Primordial Spirit grows, the body eventually becomes unable to contain it; its departure causes bodily death 530.
• Regeneration has limits: Bai Mo considers complete destruction without a single surviving cell potentially fatal 256.
• Essential structures: A functioning powerhouse requires a heart, brain, and Primordial Spirit. Melusine temporarily supplies the missing functions needed for Albion’s remains to regenerate 799.

• Weapon access: The dwarves’ forging method circulates rune-supplemented molten iron through a person before forming the weapon. The process can allow an ordinary human participant to wield weapons of that level 517.
• Instruction: Dark Leiao distributes recordings that teach accidental recipients how to cultivate and use their power 224.
• Efficiency: Ishtar’s clash with Manaka demonstrates exceptional destructive efficiency compared with magical energy, which must match its strength at a much greater burden to the caster 214.

Weaknesses and Countermeasures

• Environmental restriction: Without an appropriate environment or a way to simulate it, users may never advance beyond Electric Current Push 370.
• Poor control: Large reserves can be wasted through crude attacks. Fighting on instinct prevents Ivan from fully applying his 930,000 horsepower 52 368.
• Specialized countermeasures: Research in the Sea of Imaginary Numbers produces energy that clings to Bai Mo despite his attempts to repel it 246.
• Spatial interference: A sealed room can still be opened by removing its doorway’s material while leaving the Magnetic Field Power itself intact 501.
• Absorption and extraction: Directly extracting another user’s power is exceptionally rare, but the calamity encountered in Orkney absorbs Bai Mo’s attacks. The combined magecraft and Magnetic Field Power of Dawn of Salvation can drain an ordinary 900,000-horsepower user within minutes 777 815 831.
• Dangerous techniques: Bai Mo’s unstable Selfless Demon Blade consumes one-fifth of his lifespan. Magnetic Field Addition and Subtraction is described as only somewhat useful below 500,000 horsepower 45.

World Impact and Regulation

At high levels, ordinary surroundings become dangerously fragile. Two poorly controlled 900,000-horsepower fighters can threaten their environment through the scale of their collision alone 295. Melusine’s unstable power and Dragon Core threaten to vaporize most of Britain and shatter what remains 802.

Bai Mo consequently treats recovering and regulating Magnetic Field Power as his responsibility. His goal is not simply to collect Sources, but to prevent powered individuals, the Lostbelts, and Pan-Human History from destroying one another 758.

• Harmless users: People such as Ciel may live peacefully under supervision, with their souls collected after bodily death 186.
• Dangerous users: Malicious recipients can have their souls taken away; Bai Mo also considers Heavenly Locks as a restraint against abuse 186 349.
