Medal
After the farce, Alaya Consciousness sat there like a child who had done something wrong. The Cinan watched him with a subtle gaze. After a while, Bai Mo came in with several dishes. The scene looked like an ordinary family dinner.
"You can cook, kid?"
"Put the vegetables and seasonings into the pot, and leave the rest to the Magnetic Field Power and the Complete Realm." Bai Mo replied. The Tiandao area is the most functional area, with hot springs, vegetable gardens, and fish ponds. Perhaps these are meaningless to a strong person like the Tiandao Dao, but they give people a real sense of life here.
Without exception, all the powerful beings in the space had lived out their lives completely. For example, the Tiandao in front of him was a kind old man. He did not show any domineering intentions. Unlike the Oga that Bai Mo had met before, he did not show any distress.
Along with him was Bai Cinan. It's hard to imagine that although he still possessed the domineering aura of a king, he no longer gave off a cruel feeling. Having lived a complete life and knowing what would happen afterward, most powerful people were at peace with it, after all, death is death.
Of course, this applies to most people; some people simply can't forget certain things, such as darkness.
The aroma of the food eased the atmosphere somewhat, and only then did Alaya Consciousness speak, "Um, I came here to give you something, so I won't stay any longer. There are still a lot of troublesome things to deal with outside."
When Bai Mo heard about the trouble outside, she was puzzled and wanted to speak, but the Cinan spoke first, "There was never a place for you here. Do what you're supposed to do, and what you're not supposed to do..."
Alaya Consciousness immediately stood up and handed a small box to Bai Mo. Inside was a medal, entirely silver-white, but its shape was somewhat strange, like two intersecting rhombuses, and it was unknown what material it was made of.
"What is this? Why do you always give out these strange medals?"
Alaya Consciousness cleared his throat and said, "Well, Mr. Bai Mo, in view of your actions on this planet, we have decided, through our vote, to award you the ' Guardian of Human Order ' medal."
Everyone remained silent. Seeing this, Alaya Consciousness stretched out its little hand and clapped its hands.
Bai Mo's lips twitched as he said, "Forget it, I already have a strange Metatron thing here."
Bai Mo wasn't interested in formalities like medals, and he disliked accepting gifts from people he didn't trust.
"But even without this thing, you'll still be ostracized by others..."
Bai Cinan raised an eyebrow, his tone turning icy as he said, "This wasn't included in what we discussed before. You're not hiding something, are you?"
Alaya Consciousness immediately slumped back into the chair, fearfully saying, "No, this really is just something like an identification document, I swear."
Bai Mo remained silent. The Cinan gave Alaya Consciousness a meaningful look before coldly asking, "Is there anything else?"
"That's all, I'm leaving. Bai Mo, let's meet up again later." The next moment, Alaya Consciousness vanished as if running away. Bai Mo took the medal, feeling speechless. Metatron, too—why did these bastards always give out these things?
Metatron gives one, Alaya Consciousness gives one, and if this continues, I'll become the Brezhnev of the new era.
Afterwards, the Cinan explained Bai Mo's current physical condition, and then said somewhat solemnly, "Kid, you'd better fill your schedule from now on. Practice here in the morning, and go find my sworn brother to learn the Asura Way in the evening."
Bai Mo was shocked, then fell into thought, muttering to himself, "The Darkness will teach me the Asura Way? How is that possible? Could it be..."
The Cinan calmly drank a cup of tea, then Bai Mo seemed to have figured something out, clapped his hands and said:
"I understand now. That's why Darkness acted in such a puzzling way. It wasn't Darkness at all; it must have been Sha Antian in disguise!"
He's an expert in the Asura Way, yet he's involved in things like making others feel loved by them—this darkness must be a disguise by Sha Antian! Luckily, I didn't deny him, or I might have been in trouble.
In a certain space, the powerful being lying on the back of an animal inexplicably felt a strange sensation.
Bai Cinan was speechless and slapped Bai Mo on the back of the head. Tiandao, standing to the side, said irritably, "Your imagination is really rich. But then again, why would Darkness want to teach this kid its ultimate technique?"
Afterwards, the Cinan reluctantly recounted some of the things that happened at the meeting. When he heard that he could see those old friends again, Tiandao's movements visibly paused.
Bai Mo still looked somewhat confused and asked, "That makes some sense, but why did he bring up the style?"
The Cinan turned his head to the side and said vaguely, "You'll understand later, I don't really understand my sworn brother's thoughts either."
Regarding the Root Shiki situation, the Cinan decisively chose to stay out of it; he was there to have fun, not to become part of the fun. Bai Mo didn't ask any further questions about it.
"So kid, what do you plan to do? Given this opportunity, most people would probably share everything they know. Hey, maybe you'll become the last and strongest person in history."
Bai Mo seemed uninterested in becoming a strongman, saying, "There's no need to waste time on this. I don't need this kind of deal. Even for Master Great Saber and Mr. Oga, I have to do it."
Besides, I can't refuse the idea of creating an ideal and beautiful world.
The Cinan laughed and said, "Great! But I, Bai Cinan, am not one to sit back and reap the rewards. Kid, go change into your training clothes now!"
Tiandao at the Cinan son, Tiandao smiled and said, "Cinan, I didn't expect you to become interested as well?"
As one of the last unparalleled powerhouses during the Sea Tiger era, Bai Cinan had mastered all the martial arts of that time. To some extent, if he were willing to teach, Bai Mo would not need the guidance of most of the powerful figures.
The Cinan nodded and said, "That's right, the Heavenly Martial Killing Way isn't suitable for you, kid. Perhaps you're better suited to the martial arts of Hell."
Hell, the most formidable of the original four, is a terrifying and unpredictable being. It was also the first to come into contact with 990,000 horses. Not only does it possess the ultimate offensive technique, the Sword of Hell, but it also has what has been considered the strongest ultimate move for countless years to come— the Hell God of War.
Power, an absolutely intoxicating power, an irresistible power, but faced with this power, Bai Mo felt some resistance:
"Forget it. Although these are powerful techniques you've learned, wouldn't it be disrespectful to other powerful individuals if you passed them on to me? Besides, you can't bite off more than you can chew. I want to focus my energy on other things."
Bai Mo refused. Faced with power that could drive countless people mad, Bai Mo refused. Tian Dao, Tiandao to the side, nodded in approval. This was the mindset a truly outstanding martial artist should have.
But Bai Cinan slapped him down, saying, "Go to hell! What I'm teaching you is my original Blade of Hell and Sea Tiger God of War. What does it have to do with respecting Hell? Besides, you'll be facing many challenges soon, and the Asura Way is a must."
Both are martial arts derived from the Bodhidharma Sutra, and they complement each other. Besides, aren't you underestimating the Final Realm? Stop being so long-winded."
"Wow, you really have a sense of copyright." Bai Mo said speechlessly. The Cinan, with a dark face, slapped him again, thinking to himself:
Thankfully, I didn't tell this kid about that woman outside. It seems best to keep him from seeing her altogether. With that kind of emotional intelligence, no wonder no normal woman would be interested in him.
