Primate Murder
Looking at the fourteen-year-old girl before him, Bai Mo calmly asked Arcueid behind him, "Your friend?"
Arcueid's eyes were filled with hostility as she coldly replied, "Enemy."
"Eh~ How cold-blooded. You finally get to see your sister, but there's not a shred of respect in your words. Still as barbaric as ever, Arcueid." The black-haired girl toyed with her black hair, and seeing this, Arcueid's anger intensified.
She then stood up, performed a standard aristocratic bow, and introduced herself, "Nice to meet you. My name is Altrouge Brunestud Brunestud, the older sister of the willful Arcueid."
"Reckless and unruly? All you do is talk behind people's backs?" Arcueid's voice was as cold as ice.
"I'm saying this to your face, aren't I?"
Immediately, the atmosphere on the field became tense and suffocating, and Bai Mo looked at the two of them and slowly said:
"Your family atmosphere isn't very good."
The moment Bai Mo uttered those words, the two of them simultaneously shouted in opposition:
"Who says this guy is family?!" ×2
At this moment, Bai Mo finally understood how Skynet felt back then. In family disputes, it's pointless to say anything. He suddenly felt that he, as an outsider, shouldn't be caught in the middle between the two of them.
"You bastard, you've gotten mixed up with Roa, haven't you? It's disgusting. You always act all high and mighty, but you've actually fallen so low as to associate with the Dead Apostle?" Arcueid questioned.
"Only you could put 'exploitation' so horribly, Arcueid. But doesn't saying that make you even more depraved? After all, speaking of Roa..." However, before she could finish speaking, Arcueid's eyes suddenly turned golden, as if she would tear her to pieces if she said another word.
"Shut up."
Hearing this, Altrouge Brunestud became interested and looked at her with curiosity, laughing, "You said you didn't care before, but now you're so angry. Don't tell me you don't want this person to know how pathetic you are?"
"I said shut up!" Just as Arcueid was about to charge forward, Bai Mo grabbed her shoulder and said, "Calm down, don't waste your energy."
Hearing Bai Mo's words of comfort, Arcueid withdrew her Mystic Eyes and looked at the White Beast with a worried expression. She whispered to Bai Mo, "Bai Mo, when the fight starts, you should leave first. As a human, you can't face that monster. I'll hold it off."
Bai Mo seemed not to hear Arcueid's words, staring intently at Altrouge Brunestud in front of him, and said coldly, "You came here just to argue with Arcueid?"
"No, I'm just here as her older sister to give my younger sister some end-of-life care. After all, she's so fragile that she could be killed by a stray dog on the street." He still looked at Arcueid with a gaze that was seven parts mockery and three parts pity.
Then, she changed the subject, looking at Bai Mo with great interest, and said, "But I didn't expect there to be such an unexpected gain. Hey, why don't you come over here, Mr. Bai Mo?"
How did you learn my name?
But before Bai Mo could speak again, Arcueid bristled like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.
"What nonsense are you spouting! Get away from him, you gloomy woman!"
"Oh? Are you angry? But the decision isn't yours, is it?" The two were arguing when suddenly the white behemoth behind Altrouge Brunestud let out a low growl, as it sensed that Bai Mo had released his fighting spirit.
Altrouge Brunestud, however, was unconcerned. The White Beast behind her was Gaia's monster, the Primate Murder Cathy Palug.
"Are you sure you don't want to reconsider? After all, in terms of resources, wisdom, and status, I, as the older sister, am the better choice. And I suggest you don't anger this child, otherwise, it can be quite terrifying when it gets angry."
Hearing Altrouge Brunestud's words, Arcueid didn't say anything, but instinctively grabbed Bai Mo's sleeve. Bai Mo, without turning around, said, "Let go."
Arcueid felt as if he'd been electrocuted, a huge weight pressing down on his heart, but he still released his grip. The next moment, Bai Mo shot out as if taking a single step, right before Arcueid's astonished eyes.
"Birds of a feather flock together. Like Arcueid, all you can do is use brute force?"
The White Beast behind Altrouge Brunestud, like a drifting cloud in the sky, pounced towards Bai Mo.
Arcueid was shocked. She knew very well the strength of this White Beast. As Primate Murder, it had the absolute right to kill humans. No matter how strong Bai Mo was, as long as he was still human, he could not possibly contend with it.
Fu! (Charging forward with full confidence)
With a loud thud, Cathy Palug was seen rolling back like a kicked white soccer ball, much to the astonishment of the two sisters.
Fu~ (A mournful cry of defeat)
Looking at Cathy Palug lying on the ground, Altrouge Brunestud suddenly felt as if their positions had been reversed. Considering Arcueid's extreme weakness and the fact that Bai Mo was human, he was no match for Cathy Palug.
Therefore, she didn't actually bring any other guards.
Now, a question confronts her: should she run away?
As soon as she turned around, Bai Mo was already standing behind her. Altrouge Brunestud could do at this moment was offer an awkward but polite smile and say:
"Can I pretend I was never here tonight?"
Her response was Bai Mo's icy gaze and fist.
Some time later—on the top floor of a large hotel, Cathy Palug covered her nose, seemingly still recovering from Bai Mo's punch. On the other side was Altrouge Brunestud, who had been placed under Magnetic Field Heavenly Lock.
Altrouge Brunestud looked at her arm. If she used even a little bit of magic, it would trigger the backlash of the Magnetic Field Heavenly Lock, destroying her body.
"So why did you reject me? Or rather, with such power, why would you want to spend time with this crazy woman?" Altrouge Brunestud asked Bai Mo in a tone of utter incomprehension.
"Save your breath. Don't look so aggrieved. You're just saying that to see Arcueid sad, aren't you? You have a twisted sense of humor. What are those Magic Crest planted among those humans? How do you know my name?"
"I don't know~ Roa was in charge of manufacturing them. I just distributed these things, and I have no idea what their specific purpose is. But I do know what the consequences would be if they were taken out."
Having her schemes exposed, Altrouge Brunestud could only wave her hand and say, "Even if you look at me like that, it won't do any good, Mr. Bai Mo. When I was in contact with Roa before, I knew that this power could read people's minds, so I took precautions long ago."
Why don't you and I have a good chat now? A lady's secrets are only revealed at tea parties.
With a snap, a chain had somehow bound her up, layer by layer. Arcueid, standing to the side, watched her sister with a benevolent expression, her fingers clicking.
"My dear sister, could you please take your fist back?"
