Evading Disaster
In the northern mountains of Uruk, on those seemingly isolated peaks, there are various magical arrays designed to prevent the leakage of power.
Normally, even reptiles would instinctively avoid this place. Inside, a figure sat cross-legged on a massive stone tablet, his eyes closed and locked. Suddenly, as if struck by lightning, he abruptly opened his eyes.
"Not good!"
He immediately slapped the stone tablet beneath his buttocks. The tablet emitted a bright light, transforming into a twisted passage that carried him and the tablet away. The man instantly found himself in a blank world, clutching his chest and panting heavily.
Just then, a voice came from beside him. A man in magnificent armor, exuding an aura of divine might, coldly said, "What's wrong with you? Is the attacker far stronger than you?"
The man frowned slightly, clearly disdainful of the guy's cowardly behavior, but there was no trace of blame in his eyes, and almost no emotion was visible.
Faced with these words, the man on the stone tablet merely rubbed his hands together and chuckled ingratiatingly, "Hehe, who told me that Bai Tiangao is just a lowly person, while Lord Enlil is a high and mighty god? I'm not like you; I'm afraid of death."
The god before them appeared indifferent, like an all- Tianxia emperor, making it impossible to fathom his thoughts.
Indeed, this is true. Enlil, the wind god in Sumer mythology, was the actual supreme power among the gods. He granted mankind the Me to create civilization, and also launched three world-ending catastrophes.
Therefore, human feelings toward him are a mixture of awe and reverence, dependence on his gifts and fear of his wrath.
In such a place, Enlil and this guy who called himself Bai Tiangao looked like a pair of tyrannical and treacherous officials.
Enlil glanced at him and continued, "But you failed, human. The Underworld was not under our control, and I have never seen the so-called invincible World-Destroying Demon God you promised."
I gave you everything you wanted, even all authority except for the three gods, but all I see are packs of mad dogs running across the Daichi, their barking irritating me.
I can feel that the damage the White Giant has caused to the world is irreversible. The Greater Source is drying up, my time is running out, and so is yours.
At this point, Enlil transformed into a beam of light and entered the stone tablet, leaving only the outer "Bai Tiangao" mark. He silently spat at Enlil in his heart and cursed inwardly:
"Damn it, I have to do everything while you just sleep all day. If I weren't a soul without a body and needed you, I would have chopped you into mincemeat and fed you to the monsters."
"You utterly ignorant thing. If I had the cultivation I once possessed, what difference would there be between trash like you and shit in my eyes?"
He breathed a sigh of relief, then sat down with a slight headache, leaning against the stone tablet, rubbing his beard and muttering to himself:
"Luckily, I ran fast. That kid has the cultivation of the Fifty-First Heaven of the Heavenly Realm and knows the Sea Tiger Exploding Fist. I don't know if he's a descendant of the Bai Family after my death or a powerful figure from before..."
No, that kid 'Complete Realm level is probably no lower than my fifth brother's. He even seems to know the techniques of the powerful Oga from a thousand years ago. If he was a powerful figure from before, why wouldn't the Bai Family have left a record of him?
So it must be descendants. Damn it, could it be that after I died, the Blue Country and the Daichi turned their hostility into friendship?
Thinking of this, a fierce glint appeared in the man's eyes, a stark contrast to his previous demeanor. It was as if an old wolf had torn off its disguise, revealing its cunning gaze and sharp teeth.
"Hehehe, if that's really the case, then that's wonderful. The joy of our Bai Family's bloodline killing each other, young brat, I'll let you experience it properly, hehehe."
Just a few breaths after he left, Bai Mo suddenly appeared here like a ghost, looking around. The engraved magic array here already expressed the outstanding magical attainments possessed by the owner of this stone chamber.
Feeling the temperature of the stone chamber, I confirmed that the person had just left without even having time to clean up the traces; it was as if he had vanished into thin air.
"He ran really fast. I thought I hadn't revealed too much while tracking him, but I didn't expect him to just run away. Judging from the remaining magic in the room, he probably escaped the moment I even had the thought of making a move."
Judging from this, this guy's skill level isn't low, and he has a lot of faith in his intuition.
Although he couldn't find the person, it wasn't a complete loss. Bai Mo opened the books piled up to the side. In this era, people used clay tablets to record words, and this alone was enough to determine that he was definitely not from this world.
"I see. By using the authority of the Goddess of Demonic Beasts, and by mobilizing the authority of the Sumer gods, they can influence various natural factors and create soil that can nurture Demon God unique to this world."
The idea is not bad. Indeed, compared to the human body, the Demon God's body has many advantages in certain aspects. It seems that as soon as this guy came to this world, he was controlled and stuffed into the stone tablet, becoming a tool for the gods to obtain Magnetic Field Power.
As Bai Mo looked at the text, he murmured to himself, asking his mind, "There aren't many people in the entire Martial God Era who understand Demon God this well. Do you recognize this handwriting?"
Inside the Martial God Space, Bai Wunan opened his eyes and said, "Of course I recognize it. This handwriting is so ugly, like a dog's crawl. I never thought the second one I'd encounter would be my fourth uncle. Yes, it seems he stole all those things from Plain Star back then."
No wonder he ran away so fast; it seems I was too cruel to him back then. It's a pity I let his Primordial Spirit go unpunished.
But you can't blame me entirely; at least Kebao has to share half the blame."
Bai Wunan said with a mocking tone, although he was an invincible scoundrel in the Martial God Era, he had no psychological burden when it came to this Bai Wunan uncle.
From the Daichi's perspective, this guy was a complete scoundrel. As for the Blue Country, they used him because of their relationship with him, leaving him all alone and ultimately turning him into a beast of burden.
Hearing Bai Wunan's roguish joke, Bai Mo chuckled twice and then took all the items. Now that he knew who was behind it all, things became much easier. Having been familiar with the personalities of all the powerful figures, Bai Mo had a very accurate understanding and assessment of their strength.
Scrolling to the very bottom, Bai Mo saw a map depicting almost all the cities of Uruk, with several locations deliberately marked.
Bai Mo's gaze slowly shifted to one of the cities, Eridu, a city near the Persian Gulf that had been abandoned and hidden in the forest.
