Trading blows
Previously, Bai Mo and Fujimaru had made a plan: if she wanted to infiltrate the Kremlin, she had to do so after Bai Wubian appeared, and then infiltrate with Atalanta.
"While I had somewhat anticipated it, this was indeed a decisive move."
Ritsuka watched Anastasia, whose Order Change had been interrupted by Command Spell. Anastasia, in turn, watched the several figures clashing in the air, their immense power making it difficult for almost everyone to see their battle.
"Let's go to the Kremlin. It's better to eliminate this threat that could affect our operations first."
The moment they stepped inside, a sudden change occurred, and the three of them were instantly plunged into Wubian darkness.
When the darkness faded, only Anastasia remained. She found herself in a somewhat familiar room, where the Beast Kingdom's princess was watching the battle in the distance from the windowsill.
Looking at the person in front of her who looked exactly like her, Anastasia smiled instead.
"At first, I thought I was being used as a disposable tool."
"How annoying! Have you forgotten that, in terms of Servant strength, I am undoubtedly superior?"
The princess didn't know why this guy had appeared here, but since he was an enemy, she naturally wouldn't hold back. The hope of victory had completely faded, so at the very least, she had to protect her poor Master.
A sharp ice spear pierced Anastasia. The princess was puzzled; she had clearly aimed for Anastasia's heart, so why had it deflected? Was it because they were both for her sake?
"You're still resisting even after all this? Is it for your Master?"
The princess did not answer, but Anastasia let out a cold laugh.
"I was right, but I don't understand why you allowed this country to become like this. Have you forgotten your father's and brother's instructions, forgotten your responsibilities as royalty?"
Although Anastasia was young, as a member of the royal family and of Romanov blood, she was taught from a young age the responsibility of leading the people. Perhaps those who taught her were hypocritical, but this legacy truly resided in her young heart.
She could ask herself honestly that she would not allow such a tragedy to happen in her country. Precisely because she had never been exposed to the lust for power, she still retained that naive and laughable sense of nobility in her heart.
"A word of advice? I'm sorry, I really didn't know that."
Hearing the princess's words, Anastasia was stunned. Then, she shook her head with a slight smile, as if she understood.
When Kadoc summoned the princess, he distorted her original identity as a figure from Pan-Human History through the influence of the Lostbelt. She had no memories of her family, and even her thinking was biased towards Yaga.
Therefore, although she found this dog-eat-dog world barbaric, she could accept it.
She raised her hand, issuing her final judgment upon the person before her.
"I'm sorry, but my Master's life is now in someone else's hands, so please just die."
But the next moment, she found herself frozen in place. Vi behind her seemed to have stopped moving, and then the ice spears on Anastasia's body disappeared like snowflakes.
What is a person made of?
From a biological perspective, it is flesh and blood. But from a sensory perspective? Life is nothing more than fragments of matter, and in the long process of motion, an atom happens to become a person.
After death, the atoms of the body simply return to this world. For this person, only the changes they have experienced are truly theirs and the fragments that make up them.
Vi is Anastasia's contracted spirit. The Counter Force will only choose the most suitable person.
A pale power surged, and a dark shadow, shrouded in frost, surrounded her behind like a throne.
"I'll return what you just said to you, exactly as it was!"
The gaze of [Mystic Eyes of Clairvoyance] pierced through the palace, crossed the mountains and forests, and arrived directly at Bai Mo's opponent.
Bai Wubian never imagined that the final outcome of this battle between these powerful figures would be influenced by those weaker beings. However, this was merely an influence; the fate of this world would be decided here.
With a loud bang, Bai Wubian spun around and kicked out.
The Heavy Nuclear Kick exploded instantly, landing squarely on Bai Mo. Both sides had exhausted a great deal of energy. In that situation, Bai Mo was unable to activate the Ryougi Lataib to absorb power, and even if he did, it would be a drop in the ocean.
The two sides quickly clashed, but Bai Mo mostly defended and rarely attacked.
Thump, thump, thump, the two figures crossed paths in the snow. Bai Wubian was pushing himself to the limit, but he had no choice.
If Bai Mo were to recover, neither the Hell God of War, nor the Avici Uninterrupted, nor the Asura Way, nor the Orca Heaven and Earth Way, would be able to contend with him.
"Boy, don't even think about leaving. If you do, I'll unleash a bloodbath, even if it's just for a few breaths, it'll be enough for me to carnage a river of blood!"
Bai Wubian knew very well that this was his only chance.
Morality? Martial virtue? Human life? To hell with all of that! As long as you win, as long as you live, that's how the world is. Even blood relatives can be killed.
From beginning to end, Bai Wubian felt nothing about this place.
What do they care about a bunch of mutants barely surviving? Even if their recent battle strategy might have killed almost everyone else, so what?
In the end, these things only respect the strong. Since that's the case, in such a world, becoming the strongest at all costs is the right thing to do!
A century of defending the land is nothing more than the struggle of a dying man. As for Bai Mo, who expended his power to save these things, he was utterly foolish in his eyes!
"I really don't understand why the Terrible Emperor said those things to you in the end. Kid, you could have stood until the end, but unfortunately, you ended up like my poor grandson."
What use is talent if you lack the right wisdom? In the end, you'll just die anyway.
"That's still better than taking your son's heart and then having it sliced off with a single sword stroke."
Bai Mo's words were calm, yet they caused the veins on Bai Wubian's forehead to bulge. He almost gritted his teeth to pieces and waved his hand.
"You want to provoke me? You think I'll lose my temper and give you a chance? You're wrong. You'll only make me stronger and destroy you faster. Ninety Heavens— World-Destroying Boundless Sword, kill!"
Countless sword energies surged towards Bai Mo like a tide. Facing this powerful attack, Bai Mo took a deep breath, stepped forward, and withdrew his stance. Three crimson battle runes appeared, and in the sea of sword energy, a tiger shark exuding murderous intent emerged from the deep sea with its fin.
This is the last attempt.
Three battle marks also appeared on Bai Wubian's forehead. At this moment, he used all the power he could muster: his determination, his conviction, his domineering spirit, and...
"Fifth... wait for me, your father will be here soon."
The regret and pain in his heart, and the only bit of love that accompanied it.
If he were to evaluate his own life, Bai Wubian would say he was a piece of trash.
It wasn't that he felt incompetent; whether it was for the sake of the Sea Tiger Martial God or for the sake of the Bai Family, he believed he had done nothing wrong. But, he had to be a useless piece of trash.
If he's not useless, then isn't the one who's useless the heart given to him by his son?
So he waited for his unexpectedly acquired life to end. But now, when that possibility arises, when it is confirmed that this world possesses the potential to reverse time.
The old man's blood boiled once more!
The Magnetic Field Rotation!
Both unleash their strongest power simultaneously, with identical battle runes and identical fists!
Sea Tiger Exploding Fist!
