Odin's Message
A holographic Projection was displayed on the small Giant God instrument. According to the map of Northern Europe, this place was located in a mountain range in the northernmost part of Northern Europe. Upon closer inspection, the surrounding mountains seemed to be encircling it with an arm, which was not a normal geological structure.
Is there anything special about this place?
Skadi frowned slightly and said, "This location is somewhat close to Jotunheim, but it's not the entrance to Jotunheim. If you want to enter Jotunheim from here, you have to go directly through a long mountain."
The area behind the mountain is now probably barren, even though it used to be a very famous place.
Upon hearing this, Bai Mo decided to ignore Landao Tianwu's warning. This was somewhat inexplicable, but no matter what Landao Tianwu might ask for, Bai Mo didn't believe he would keep his promise.
This thing looks suspicious no matter how you look at it. Why would Landao Tianwu make such a request with an attitude of "you have no choice but to do it anyway"?
Let's think about how to rescue the Valkyrie from Landao Tianwu's hands first. Although they are all hostages, if Landao Tianwu had stuffed a self-destructing bomb into the head of every single one of the Valkyrie, that would be quite troublesome.
Can I take a look at that thing?
Just as Bai Mo was about to decompose the thing in his hand, Sion curiously reached out her hand.
"Look, we've checked, there are no bombs inside."
"OK, let me see, this position... tsk, it really matches."
After catching the small, Giant God instrument thrown by Bai Mo, Sion confirmed the location and couldn't help but click her tongue in amazement, a wry smile appearing on her face.
Is there anything there?
Skadi used Runes to cover the instruments again, and then everyone looked at Sion with questioning eyes. Sion pulled out a suitcase-sized instrument case from somewhere, and when she opened it, it was full of various sophisticated Magecraft instruments.
A faint magical power flowed within it; if this thing hadn't come from the hands of a Magecraft, an outsider would probably have thought it was a high-tech device from a science fiction movie.
"One of the main reasons I chose to conduct my research there was that it was the battlefield of Ragnarok. Through some means of the Atlas Institute, I was able to observe some details of Ragnarok."
The fluctuations there are the greatest, so you can get the most comprehensive understanding of most of the details of Ragnarok, which is why I asked you to come in seven days.
If I had arrived earlier, the fluctuations from the battle might have affected the observation results. I originally just wanted to understand how much deviation had occurred here, but I observed something unusual."
As Sion finished speaking, a 3D movie-like scene appeared on the sophisticated Magecraft instrument: raging fire, the earth-shattering roars of warriors, and in the distance, giants that stretched like mountain ranges.
Fenrir's massive body resembled a pale, snow-capped mountain, majestic and imposing. He walked forward step by step, his eyes filled with sharp killing intent and burning rage.
The Wubian darkness was like a living city wall, Jormungandr's enormous body enveloped everything around it, its mouth uttering low words, as if it were a proclamation of the end times.
Then there Surtr, who walked in step by step, holding the Sword of Flame, his face expressionless, like a numb executioner.
Upon seeing Surtr's appearance, Bai Mo subtly shifted his gaze to Ophelia. Sure enough, although Ophelia's facial expression was perfectly controlled, the tremor in her eyes could not escape his notice.
When they talked about Surtr earlier, Ophelia hid it well, but subtle changes in her expression were still noticeable. Perhaps Landao Tianwu's anti-human ideas were too abstract, so much so that even her aristocratic upbringing couldn't help her control her expression.
Bai Mo didn't try to hide it, and Ophelia naturally noticed Bai Mo's gaze.
As expected, she couldn't hide it from him forever. Of course, she couldn't expect him to never read her mind. He wasn't Æsir; telling him about her shouldn't be a problem. Thinking this, Ophelia and Bai Mo exchanged a brief glance.
The two then tacitly ended their less than one-second exchange and continued to observe the situation at Ragnarok.
"Hela didn't participate in Ragnarok..."
According to the normal course of Northern Europe mythology, Hela would give Loki Naglfar, a warship made of dead people's fingernails, during Ragnarok. However, Loki would appear on the battlefield riding a chariot instead.
Considering what happened in Helheim, it seems that Ragnarok has changed quite a bit here.
Just as everyone was searching for differences based on their own understanding of Northern Europe mythology, an old man standing at the very front of the Æsir stepped forward.
He rode an eight-legged divine horse, wore an eye patch, and held a gleaming spear that pulsated with immense power—a manifestation of Magnetic Field Power.
His identity is self-evident: Odin, the Northern Europe god-king.
It seems that Magnetic Field Power have begun to merge in Northern Europe, and it's quite possible that the dwarves are using Magnetic Field Power in the forging of divine weapons. It's just unknown what the requirements are for the user, and how much impact these things will have.
Bai Mo lowered his head and began to ponder. He had already considered that Magnetic Field Power might have a wonderful reaction with Magecraft to some extent.
Hrungnir's flint club, and Odin's Gungnir as currently recorded, are both rather unique divine weapons.
According to mythology, Odin did not speak during Ragnarok, but instead faced his fate and accepted his destined death.
In the video, Odin's lips moved. His gaze was no longer fixed on the distant army of giants; instead, he seemed like an actor who had broken the fourth wall, watching Bai Mo and the others.
"Skadi, by the time you hear my words, I will already be gone. Hero Sigurd, my daughters Brynhildr and Ortlinde, and Miss Sion Eltnam Sokaris who have come from afar, and Miss Ophelia Crypter."
I have something to say to you.
Upon hearing Odin call out the names of everyone present except Bai Mo with pinpoint accuracy, everyone was momentarily stunned.
"This guy's predictive abilities are truly astonishing."
It's not surprising that Bai Mo doesn't have his own name. He doesn't belong to this world. Perhaps the effects of his actions can be seen, but anyone who tries to make prophecies about him is destined to end up with nothing.
Even those reborn powerhouses, their bodies are products of this world. Bai Mo has no cause from this world in his body, so naturally no effect can be found. In the entire world, perhaps only Shi can sense him and find him.
Even so, being able to foresee Ophelia and Ortlinde is already quite remarkable. If Bai Mo's body and soul weren't so special, he would most likely have been observed by Odin as well.
In the video, Odin continued speaking:
"This Ragnarok's appearance may have exceeded my expectations. This power has changed too much, but in the end, what I saw was a world full of despair and devoid of any life."
In this war, Loki will be the first to die, and my son Thor will perish from a treacherous ambush and poison. My fate will be different; Fenrir will devour me, but he will be hunted down by Surtr before he can completely kill me.
I will enter Surtr's body with Fenrir. I will exchange my power, my life, my soul, and my gun for a chance.
Head to Jotunheim, the location of the Mimir's Well of Wisdom. I have left my contingency plan there. I cannot tell you directly, for your thoughts could easily be read by powerful adversaries.
Go forth, before Fenrir is merged with Surtr, before our souls vanish, this is our last hope.
After saying this, Odin picked up Gungnir, and finally, he turned his head and smiled. The direction he was smiling at was right where Bai Mo was sitting.
The god-king pulled on the reins and charged headlong into Fenrir, charging towards his own destiny.
The image disappeared, and at that moment, everyone was filled with admiration and awe for the god-king's ability and decisiveness.
"The Well of Wisdom that Odin spoke of, could it be...?"
"It's the location that Landao Tianwu indicated," Skadi replied with a grim face.
