A way to hold them together
The Sage Vyasa sighed deeply. He knew that he could not possibly persuade the person before him.
"Very well, since that's the case, let's wait and see. Time will prove that this marriage is not the Root of chaos, but the key to the continuation of the Dharma."
Just as the Sage Vyasa shook his head helplessly, Kama tugged at Bai Mo's clothes and asked him:
"Um, I have a question. Since your goal is to have Draupadi keep the Pandavas, why make her their wife?"
"Can't I use other identities?"
Everyone looked at Kama with some doubt, when suddenly, Krishna hands and said:
"Oh my god, Kama, are you a genius?"
Kama, caught off guard by the sudden praise, was somewhat bewildered. Then, Krishna walked up to Draupadi and excitedly said, "Now we have a solution, Draupadi! We've all been limited; those involved are truly blinded by their own perspective."
Seeing Krishna's excited state, Draupadi was also somewhat puzzled, and Bai Mo also cast a questioning glance at Kama.
"Kama, what do you mean by that?"
Bai Mo asked, somewhat puzzled, while Kama put his hands on his hips and raised his proud little head.
"It's simple. Why does Draupadi have to become their wife? If the goal is to connect them, there are other options, aren't there?"
After saying this, Kama waved his hand and said:
"It's simple, just make Draupadi the master of the Pandavas! You all go and become this woman's slaves!"
Yudhishthira:?
Bhima:?
Arjuna:...?
Nakula:?
Sahadeva:?
Krishna: "What are you saying Kama!"
"Where did we go wrong? Were we just worried that they wouldn't be able to unite and that this would create divisions? We could just make them all Draupadi's slaves, and then Draupadi wouldn't have to worry about his reputation."
Anyway, if this woman really becomes your shared wife, you'll have to treat her with complete honesty and compassion, since you've already mistreated her like this."
Kama's words froze the air; everyone was stunned. But at the same time, Bai Mo and Krishna understood Kama's meaning. Indeed, Draupadi could assume the responsibility of maintaining order in other capacities. Since Kunti hadn't said those words aloud, there was a lot of room for maneuver.
Although the relationship proposed by Kama was somewhat explosive.
At this moment, even the usually composed Yudhishthira's voice trembled slightly as he clasped his hands together in prayer before Kama, his entire body shaking slightly.
"Gama... Kama, we are willing to sacrifice for the Dharma, and this should not fall on a woman Draupadi, but... is there no way to do this with any dignity? We are just ordinary people."
"I think it's fine; the immortal didn't say anything."
Kama turned his head and saw that the Sage Vyasa was already sitting cross-legged and beginning to chant scriptures.
That's kind of an admission, isn't it?
"This..."
For the first time, Yudhishthira felt that the knowledge of the Dharma he had diligently studied was so powerless at this moment.
Bai Mo helplessly covered Kama's mouth and dragged her back.
"Alright, thank you for the suggestion, Kama, please don't cause any more trouble."
"Hmm~ What's the problem? Aren't we in a master-servant relationship too, Master?"
"How can these be the same?"
Bai Mo dragged Kama aside speechlessly, then looked at Krishna, Krishna also slapping his forehead. It was now his turn to give guidance.
Surely the great Krishna will point out a viable path!
"You five, you've all come to recognize Draupadi as your mother, haven't you!"
Upon hearing this, Bai Mo felt his head buzzing. Beside him, the Sage Vyasa, who could recite scriptures backwards fluently, made a soft sound; he had just bitten his tongue.
"Vasudeva, what a terrible idea that is!"
Draupadi was both angry and amused. She grabbed Krishna's ear. Although the gods had given her the body of an adult woman and basic knowledge, there was no doubt that Draupadi had only been in this world for a month.
Five burly kids in one month—that's just too outrageous.
"Ouch, ouch, Draupadi! How could you do this to me? I was choosing the best path for you!"
"What's the best path...? What about Mother Kunti?"
Pandavas Kunti, stepped forward and asked Krishna, "Yes, what should I do?"
Krishna, however, revealed a subtle smile. His gaze fell upon Bai Mo, and a sense of foreboding rose within Kunti. Krishna spoke:
"So, Queen Mother Kunti believes that a child can only have one mother, no matter what. Very well then. I'll think about it some more. Bai Mo, when I visit Sweetness City later... I must have a good talk with Karna about this!"
Upon hearing the name Karna, Kunti was stunned.
Yes, Karna was raised by Radha from a young age, raised before he was even born. But if Karna knew he couldn't accept this, wouldn't that be forcing the child to make a choice?
Having lost her own child, she longed to reunite with Karna, but... she couldn't let another mother lose her child too.
Kunti thought this, then glared at Krishna with a mixture of helplessness and anger. She sighed deeply and said to the Pandavas:
"It's not impossible."
The Pandavas:?
Draupadi:?
The Sage Vyasa felt that today's trip had truly broadened his horizons.
Bai Mo felt that the world had finally become something he couldn't understand. No, it should be said that he had finally seen what the world's interior was like.
Is this the world of India mythology?
The Bhima nearby quickly pulled the crowd aside and led them to the side, saying to their brothers:
"What should we do? Think of something quickly! Brother Yudhishthira, Arjuna, say something!"
Yudhishthira pressed his head helplessly and said, "Well... since Sage Vyasa has spoken, this is indeed a measure to uphold the Dharma path, and Mother has no objections..."
Seeing that he couldn't rely on the Yudhishthira, Bhima turned to Arjuna and said, "Arjuna, don't be so silent! Speak up! You brought Draupadi back; you have to deal with this woman!"
"But... I was forced into this by that Brahman, and... looking back now, since Brother Yudhishthira didn't marry, I really shouldn't have married either."
Bhima felt like he couldn't breathe.
"Hey, what's your decision? Mother or master, you have to choose one, right?"
Kama, who was watching the drama unfold, suggested, "How about... we vote?" Yudhishthira took a deep breath and said.
"Don't pull this stunt at a time like this, brother!" Bhima cried in despair, but he was at his wit's end. In the end, only Yudhishthira could make the decision. He first asked Arjuna:
"Arjuna, tell me first, what are your feelings for Draupadi?"
"Hmm... she's quite beautiful and virtuous, I can't find any fault with her," Arjuna, Yudhishthira nodded and said, "In that case, let's make her our master."
It would be too bizarre to acknowledge her as our mother. Our father Pandu, is dead. We can't possibly let Draupadi marry a dead person, can we? Acknowledging God would only be a disgrace for us, but acknowledging a mother would involve our father.
Moreover... since I am not yet married, and according to the Dharma Arjuna cannot marry, then for the time being we will maintain this relationship.
Arjuna, you should cultivate a relationship with Draupadi. After we have finished discussing the throne, I will naturally take a wife. At that time, Arjuna, you can marry her, and the master-servant covenant will be in name only.
Yudhishthira looked at Draupadi and sighed deeply, saying, "That woman was very hesitant when she heard that this was for the sake of the Dharma law. If it weren't for Mr. Bai Mo's firm attitude, I estimate that she would have agreed to share a wife."
Such a woman cannot be evil; she must be well-versed in the Dharma. She would rather harm herself and bear the consequences of this woman's ruined reputation. Such a woman would not treat us harshly and would agree to our requests.
The Pandavas had no choice but to accept it; a great responsibility had been bestowed upon them by Heaven, and there was no escaping it.
Upon hearing the decision to Yudhishthira, Draupadi said in a sorrowful voice:
"But wouldn't that turn me into the victim?"
Krishna smiled sincerely and said to Draupadi:
"It is precisely because you saw this and considered it immediately that you should do this."
This is neither marriage nor master-servant relations. The Pandavas will become the guardians of the Dharma, and Draupadi, you will become a symbol of order, not someone's wife.
Bai Mo added:
"When everything is over, this protective relationship will naturally dissolve, and you will then return as Arjuna's wife. Love should be a choice for yourself, and this time will allow you to get to know each other better."
Furthermore, Kama chimed in, "Since you're so worried, why don't you make a vow?"
Seeing this, everyone nodded in agreement, and then went to discuss the details of the oath. Krishna pulled Bai Mo aside, asking him to be a witness to the oath.
