Chen Qing gathered the factions at the Dragon Palace and led Ziyue, Baiyu, and Murong Yunji into its core to seize its weapon-making legacy and jade resources. They encountered the Heavenly Ghost Octopus, which grew stronger after devouring another monster, while Xiao Mingxue and her allies chose to pursue Dragon Transformation species.

• Wei Gongcheng traced Liuzhou’s spreading fear to the Shen Family and the evil entity attached to Shen Xue, while Beiyu’s group pursued Murong Bingyun into the Underworld and Ziyue’s group clashed with him there.
• Wei Gongcheng escaped the Underworld with Murong Yunji’s help and arranged for Wei Gongzhan and Xiaoli to protect Liuzhou, while A Li weakened herself using her memory-altering ability.
• Chen Qing received the court delegation and other powerful factions at the Dragon Palace, then proposed dividing them among its four entrances and warned that the palace’s formation threatened the world.

As ancient powers began awakening and the northern crisis worsened, the Dragon Palace tried to recruit human factions into Dragon Transformation, while Chen Qing warned Ao Xin that the Ancient Insect was approaching the West Sea Dragon Palace.

• Xiao Mingxue chose to search for the Fire Kun, while Ziyue and her allies pursued Chen Qing and discovered the Heaven-Devouring Dragon Whale.

The Heavenly Ghost Octopus reached the West Sea Dragon Palace, where Chen Qing began seeking a way to stop it as another Dragon King Breed appeared.
