• Chen Ying trapped Lu Ming in a spatial formation, claimed him as Jiangnan's prisoner, and passed the White Tiger Gate with Chen Ye and Nie Youyun.
• Zhang Xiaoyun revealed a terrifying power at the Azure Dragon Gate and killed the contestants there, leading Chen Qing to suspect he hosted a powerful spirit body.
• Ziyue tested her Jiangnan students with a vast network of formations, and five Jiangnan contestants eventually advanced from the first round.
• Chen Ye fought White Plain, whose overwhelming killing intent made him yield, and she spared him after reminding him that he was young and still alive.

Chen Yun’s Ancient Demon was exposed and captured, while the Celestial Master revealed the Warlock Dynasty’s origins and Ziyue’s connection to Pu Yunchuan. In the South Sea, the Dragon Palace’s forces attacked the city, and Chen Zhuo killed Ye Qing as Ao Zhen and her companions confronted him.

• Su Changqing and Chen Yun fought White Plain in a distorted illusion, but she poisoned Chen Yun and nearly killed them before Yun Ke’er rescued them.
• Yun Ke’er trapped Chen Yun in shifting spaces and severed the Void Worm from him, while the elders learned that his mother had obtained the Ancient Demon Worm from the South Sea Dragon Palace.
• The Ancient Demon impersonated Chen Yun and attacked Shen Yuan, but Shen Yuan trapped it in a spatial fragment as the Azure Dragon Gate opened.
• Chen Qing warned that the Celestial Master Mansion’s selection was a trap, and Celestial Master Zhang revealed that the Warlock Dynasty was founded by Ancient Demons who had absorbed Pu Yunchuan’s memories.
• Ao Zhen and her companions investigated the South Sea Dragon Palace and discovered that thousands of aquatic tribesmen and flood dragons had come ashore to attack South Sea City.
• The city’s elders tried to activate its defenses as the Ghost Shark General approached, while Ye Qing discovered that her Flame Dragon Pearl was missing.
• Chen Zhuo confessed his resentment toward Ye Qing, then bound her with red threads and drained her life as the city’s formation neared collapse.
• Ao Zhen and her companions found Ye Qing dead and confronted Chen Zhuo, whose parasite invoked the Demon Buddha as Wei Gongzhan argued they had to kill him and hold the city.

As Jiangnan faced Tian Heng’s rebellion and the South Sea’s approaching fall, Mu Hongqing and Liu Yu uncovered a plot centered on the Capital’s Ghost Temple. Wei Gongxing was chosen by Muye and secretly assessed the conspiracy, while Wei Gongyu’s patrol discovered scarlet-eyed members of their own household.

• Ao Zhen severed Chen Zhuo’s head without killing him, and Chen Zhuo warned that his race’s plans reached far beyond the South Sea.
• Wei Gongcheng received Ao Zhen’s warning, suspected a traitor among Jiangnan’s leaders, and tested Xu Hu’s loyalty while Tian Heng weighed rebellion.
• Tian Heng’s deputies moved ahead with their plans, and Meng Sheng lured Old Wolf away as Wei Gongcheng activated Liuzhou’s protection formation and sent for help.
• The Ancient Demons revealed that Tian Heng had first been sent to kill Chen Qing, while Mu Hongqing and Liu Yu entered the Capital to investigate the threat to King Xiang’s forces.
• Mu Hongqing warned the Yuchi Household that the Mother and Child Ghosts Temple sustained the emperor’s Ghost Generals, and the Yuchi family head arranged for their younger members to enter the temple.

Muye and King Chujiang seized the Ghost Temples and used the Ancient Demons to threaten the capital, but Wei Gongxing and Liu Yu exposed their weakness and the emperor confronted them. As the crisis in Jiangnan continued, Shen Yuan defeated Zhang Zhiyun in the third trial, which stood tied after Yun Ke’er lost to Master Ziyue.

• Muye killed Lu Sheng, shattered King Xiang’s barrier around the Southeast Ghost Temple, and began the ritual as King Chujiang’s powerful ally, Quefeng, emerged.
• The emperor’s forces entered the capital, but an unseen attacker killed the dukes and other leaders, allowing Muye to drive the Imperial Guard from the city and march the red-eyed scions toward another Ghost Temple.
• Yuchi Peng found Wei Gongxing on the Yin-Yang Road, where Wei Gongxing explained that parasitic insects gave the red-eyed enemies power but could drive their hosts into madness.
• Wei Gongxing returned to the defenders and warned them not to attack the Ghost Temple, then helped Liu Yu confirm that the enemy had exhausted itself at the North Temple and was preparing to strike the imperial palace after nightfall.
• Quefeng shattered the palace Ghost Temple into spatial fragments, but Liu Yu used Flying Star to bring the trapped soldiers to safety and learned that King Chujiang planned to use factions as hosts to restore the Warlock Dynasty.
• The emperor confronted King Chujiang and Quefeng, revealed that she was Xiao Mingyue’s twin sister, and wagered that Tian Heng would not betray Chen Qing, while Chen Qing warned that Jiangnan faced danger and needed outside help.
• Shen Yuan challenged Zhang Zhiyun at White Tiger Palace, uncovered how Zhang used spatial techniques to create lightning, and ultimately defeated him with the Heavenly Wind Thread.
• After Shen Yuan fainted, Zhang Zhiyun chose to leave him alive, but a gigantic black hand descended for him, and Yun Ke’er then lost to Master Ziyue, tying the trial, and White Plain faced Murong Ziyi at Black Tortoise Palace.
