• Kagura told Chen Qing that major ancient forces were incompatible with the Four Saints Spells, and White Plain used a Black Tortoise Mark to defeat Murong Ziyi.
• White Plain shed her skin as a decoy and stabbed Murong Ziyi, while Ziyue rescued him and discovered a blood-red insect in her own heart.
• Chen Ying fought Zhang Xiaoyun, who revealed himself as Fei Jun and the Vermilion Bird Sorcerer, then helped Fei Jun destroy the Ancient Demon Worm inside him.
• The Four Saints chose Chen Ying, White Plain, Fei Jun, and Shen Yuan, and Celestial Master Zhang offered the gathered leaders symbiosis with Ancient Demons through prepared Dao bodies.
• The emperor rejected Celestial Master Zhang’s offer, while Tian Heng’s forces turned against the West Sea Army at Tong Pass and Xu Hu arrived to help defeat the traitors.

Chen Qing rescued the West Sea Army from the collapsing fragments, while Tian Heng was captured and killed by a mysterious fighter. Kagura trapped the emperor in Myriad Phenomena, but he broke through to King Level and joined her in killing the high priest, leaving the emperor and Kagura poised for a decisive clash.

• Chen Qing shattered the spatial fragment to save Tian Heng’s West Sea Army, refused the high priest’s offer to join the Ancient Demon royal clan, and unleashed the Golden Crow Flame.
• Chen Qing borrowed Xiaoli’s future power to reach King Level briefly and drew the spatial fragments together as Tian Heng regrouped his soldiers, but a mysterious fighter seized and killed Tian Heng.
• Kagura searched for Chen Qing among the hidden fragments, then discovered an Outer Heaven Demon Statue controlling the West Sea Army as a ghost army advanced on Cloud Capital.
• The emperor sent forces to claim the Four Spirits’ pillars while Chen Baifeng refused to help seize Shen Yuan and instead joined Tian Yu’s West Sea Army.
• The high priest and Kagura turned against the emperor, but the emperor drew the Golden Crow Flame into himself and fought Kagura as she unleashed Myriad Phenomena.
• Kagura trapped the emperor in a slowly forming false world, where she absorbed spiritual energy and gained strength, while the empress and Quefeng learned that killing Kagura was the only way to break the technique.
• The emperor broke through to King Level and used the Golden Crow Flame to deny Kagura spiritual energy, forcing her to shatter the false world and break through as well.
• The emperor and Kagura killed the high priest before he could reach King Level, then faced off while the empress and Quefeng watched, unsure who would win.

As the factions fought over the Vermilion Bird Palace, Ziyue’s command and strange power kept the Four Saints Army from collapsing, but the emperor captured her and nearly burned her alive. Bai Hua intervened and trapped the emperor in a painted space with Chen Qing, leaving the emperor seeking a way out as he worried about his injured elder imperial sister.

• Kagura neutralized the human emperor’s attack, but Ziyue destroyed the Four Saints Domain and forced the Ancient Demons to choose their next target.
• The Ancient Demon army attacked the Vermilion Bird Palace, where Quefeng kept the Four Saints Guard from breaking through the Ghost Army’s lines.
• A mysterious celestial figure manipulated emotions, killed Zhang Xiaoyun, and disrupted the Four Saints Army, but Ziyue rallied the troops and went to confront Quefeng.
• Ziyue used repeated reversals of time to wear down Quefeng, but the emperor shattered her hands and burned her with the Golden Crow Flame.
• Bai Hua rescued Ziyue and blocked the emperor’s punch, then trapped the emperor inside a painted space.
• The emperor recognized Chen Qing in the painted space, while Chen Qing explained that Bai Hua had captured him and that he could not escape.

Chen Qing exposed Bai Hua’s impersonation and helped the emperor destroy him, freeing the captives from the painted world. As Ziyue moved against the captain of the guard, he trapped her in the Void Realm, where she fought to survive until Chen Qing could reach her.

• The emperor and the King of Qin discussed their past and agreed that Kagura and the Four Great Guilds were the greater threat, while the King of Qin proposed that Quefeng kill the captain of the guard.
• Chen Qing returned to the battle and discovered that Bai Hua had replaced Ziyue, then exposed the copy by making everyone scrutinize its inconsistencies.
• Bai Hua revealed his true form and fought the gathered forces, while Chen Qing warned that the painted world gave it enough energy to break through its seal.
• The emperor escaped his prison and attacked Bai Hua, but Bai Hua used the copied Two Aspects to reduce him to dust.
• Chen Qing reversed Two Aspects to restore the emperor, who shattered Bai Hua by striking the fixed origin point of the ability.
• The painted world collapsed and released Tian Heng and the other captives, while the King of Qin escaped Chen Qing’s spatial array and the emperor agreed to help him retrieve his students.
• The war priest chose to follow Ziyue, then the captain of the guard turned his troops against her and drew her into the Void Realm with the Demon Void Mirror.
• The captain told Ziyue that she had eaten her mother while struggling to survive, then attacked her as Chen Qing entered the Void Realm and tried to find her.
