After Guangchengzi sacrificed his cultivation to locate Bai Anmin, Fang Zelin captured him, attended Guangchengzi’s burial, and returned to Yingping Peak to guide his disciples.

• Fang Zelin arrived at Dinggui Mountain with his companions, where Yunzi’s disciples teased her about becoming his dao companion and Yunzi offered to wash his clothes.
• Fang Zelin discovered that Dinggui Mountain’s tea tree demon had gained intelligence but neglected its natural growth to seek Spiritual Qi, and Daoist Master Fuqing sent it away after its leaves became unsafe to drink.
• Daoist Master Fuqing gathered the cultivators to discuss their stolen Karmic Fortune, and Fang Zelin suggested the Devil Race might have suffered the same theft.
• Guangchengzi performed the Seven Stars Technique to locate the Devil Race member, revealed that he was fleeing southwest, and lost his cultivation before transcending.
• Fang Zelin pursued and captured Bai Anmin, who used an illusion and abducted children to resist, then Daoist Master Fuqing imprisoned him in the Pill Furnace.

Fang Zelin refined lightning-sealed gourds for Jade Void Mountain’s disciples, then wandered toward Youjing City and encountered a female yao living in a village. After sharing his wine with her, he found her awake and waiting when he and the village elders came to speak with her.

• Fang Zelin welcomed Shang Lewei to Yingping Peak, gave her a pill, and learned she had returned Xiao Qin’s pearl, and he later succeeded in refining Calming Pills after calming his mind.
• Fang Zelin took gourds to Ten Thousand Blades Peak and used lightning and the Heaven and Earth Technique to refine them, then filled them with Jade Void Mountain disciples’ flying swords.
• Fang Zelin tested the gourd-stored swords with Yang Xiang and the disciples, adjusted them to build power for a single slash, and gave them gourds and a sword-intent stele.
• Fang Zelin began writing Daoist classics, while Jade Void Mountain disciples shared news of his Dao writs and the gourds with cultivators from other sects.

• The young woman of the Li household recognized the wine’s Spiritual Qi, and Fang Zelin served her a cup, and she identified a familiar flavor and resolved to seek clues at the tavern.
• Fang Zelin found the Li household’s young woman was a female yao, then went with the village elders to her house, where he sensed she was awake and waiting.

Fang Zelin traveled with Tianxi through Great Qian, visited Jiuchuan’s grave, and sailed downriver before meditating at sea for more than six hundred years. He awoke with an Immaculate Body, returned to a much-changed Great Qian, and suspected its current emperor’s unpopularity had weakened its Human Race Karmic Fortune.

• Fang Zelin revealed to Tianxi that he had brewed the immortal wine himself, and she recognized him as the benefactor she had sought for years before joining his travels.
• Fang Zelin and Tianxi reached Qinlan City, where Yunzi divined that he was traveling with a woman while disciples gathered to study his Dao inscription.
• Fang Zelin visited Jiuchuan’s grave in Youjing City, found his farewell letter, and later showed the City God that Tianxi had done no evil.
• Fang Zelin and Tianxi entered the imperial palace and overheard ministers debate foreign visitors seeking immortals, while the emperor chose to let them travel toward the Yongding River.
• Fang Zelin and Tianxi bought a cheap black-awning boat and sailed downriver, passing Eagle Gorge before Fang Zelin meditated above the sea.
• After more than six hundred years, Fang Zelin awoke with an Immaculate Body, declined to make Tianxi his maid, and sailed with her back to shore.
• Fang Zelin and Tianxi returned to a greatly changed Great Qian, where Fang Zelin suspected the emperor’s unpopularity had weakened the dynasty’s Human Race Karmic Fortune.

Fang Zelin witnessed Great Qian’s decline, mourned old friends, and renewed his ties with the immortal sects and Dragon Race. After saving Rising Tide Valley and freeing the stolen cultivation fortune at great personal cost, he refined Heaven-Mending Pills to treat Yunzi and began suppressing the corruption of his Dharma body.

• Fang Zelin learned that murdered spouses had escaped mortal justice and warned Tianxi that demons would gather to plunder Great Qian’s dissipating karmic fortune.
