Background / History

Yuan recognized the contributions of non-cultivators to the Human Race's development. After Suiren created fire, Youchao developed sturdy dwellings, and Ziyi made warm clothing, Yuan established the honorific of Great Sage for such contributors. The Human Ancestral Land convened its chieftains to formally recognize them. 263

Guiyuan later passed the Method of the Dynasty of Fortune to Yuan. Yuan understood that the method could gather Human Path fortune and support the Human Race's growth, though Nuwa warned that its hereditary model could create instability and internal conflict. 312

Using his position as Human Ancestor, Yuan united the Human Race under the Human Dao Dynasty, formally titled “Human.” He declared the Heavenly Court to be without Dao for cutting off the stars and the path of living beings, establishing the dynasty as a challenge to its rule. 361

Yuan is a pragmatic and deliberate leader who treats human progress, institutional order, and the gathering of fortune as foundations for the Human Race's future. His decision to honor innovators as Great Sages demonstrates that he values contributions beyond cultivation. 263

He is also assertive in defending the Human Dynasty's independence. When Hongjun sought permission to use the convergence of Heaven, Earth, and Human to enshrine Heavenly Court gods, Yuan agreed only after imposing consequences for teachings that interfered with the return of the Heaven, Earth, and Human Venerates. 465
