Background / History
Pan opened the Primordial World as a Non-Native World. Its orthodox path is the Great Dao of Strength associated with Pangu, placing other Daos beneath it and limiting how easily native beings can break free of the creator’s influence. Unlike a Native World, it was not innately born alongside the Primordial River of Time. 366 543
The world preserves the legacy of Pangu opening heaven and earth through the Inherited Memories of Innate beings. The completeness of those memories affects how fully an Innate being can transform, making fragments of Pangu’s form and acts foundational to the world’s earliest cultivation culture. 1
Pan created the world to resist the influence of the Primordial Heaven Realm. Foreseeing that Primordial Heaven would weaken and eventually seek to absorb the Primordial World, he arranged for Guiyuan’s soul from the Myriad Realms to enter the world as a variable capable of opposing that fate. 543
Following Hongjun’s victory in the Dao-Demon War, Immortal Dao became the accepted righteous path while Demon Dao was defined as evil. This distinction is presented as the result of victory rather than an inherent moral truth. 82
As the Heavenly Dao matured, the Immortal Court, Demon Court, and Witch Court began competing for supremacy. Their struggle filled heaven and earth with Calamity Qi, while the North Sea became a refuge for beings fleeing the growing conflict. 82 124
Hongjun’s third sermon culminated in his unification with the Dao, the distribution of spiritual treasures, and the selection of future Saints. Nuwa subsequently created the Human Race, while Houtu’s transformation into Reincarnation completed the Earthly Dao and established the Netherworld. 138 204 254
Cosmology and Governance
The Three Paths
| Path | Authority and development |
|---|---|
| Heavenly Dao | Formally assumes control as the Great Dao recedes. Hongjun unifies with it after the third sermon. 82 138 |
| Human Dao | Emerges through Nuwa’s creation of the Human Race. Nuwa becomes its Lord, while the Human Race develops its own cultivation and political potential. 181 204 |
| Earthly Dao | Perfected through Houtu’s transformation into Reincarnation and Pingxin’s establishment of the Netherworld. 254 |
World Origin
- The World Origin is the world’s purest power and is sealed in its core under the protection of the Three Paths. 333
- Its origin is valuable enough to attract attention from Saints and outside powers. 333 510
- Drawing external worlds into the Primordial World strengthens the Three Paths, but also mixes foreign Heaven, Earth, and Human influences into its originally pure foundations. 513
Laws and Cultivation
- The world’s laws are sufficiently complete that all Three Thousand Great Daos can potentially prove a Primordial Chaos Golden Immortal. 360
- Its strict laws and powerful World Will can suppress even a true Primordial Chaos Grand Unity Golden Immortal. 338
- Many living beings cultivate by absorbing Morning Radiance, Moonlight Essence, and Star Power; disrupting the Primordial Stars would therefore harm cultivation across the lands and seas. 264
- The world’s Heavenly Dao imposes increasingly severe suppression as the Heavenly Dao, Human Dao, and Earthly Dao become complete. 219
