Lying Low
The Silver Dragon King awoke, and the embers of despair in his heart were rekindled.
Gu Yue traveled in the human world, Zi JI often served by her side. Over time, the name Bai Yushan came to Di Tian's ears again and again.
Lawless and unruly.
His talent is unparalleled, and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a god.
Hearing such praise from Gu Yue and Zi JI, Di Tian's curiosity had long been uncontrollable.
He had seen too many so-called geniuses, who were praised to great heights, only to become a laughing stock in the end.
How many heads does a human boy who is just over ten years old have that makes even the usually arrogant Gu Yue look at him with new eyes?
With the person right in front of him, he inexplicably wanted to try it out himself.
Di Tian slowly raised his right hand and threw a punch.
The punch was delivered very slowly, so slowly that Bai Yushan could see the clenching and unclenching of each of his fingers and the rise and fall of the muscles in his forearm.
But this slow punch seemed to grip the surrounding air as if by an invisible hand, its heavy force making it hard to breathe, and the rocks beneath one's feet creaked and cracked.
Even if only 30% of the First Ferocious Beast's pure power was used, it would be enough to terrify Titled Douluo.
Bai Yushan saw through his thoughts at a glance; he was testing his mettle.
He grinned, a wild smile playing on his lips, completely ignoring his still-healing injuries. He pushed off the rocks and threw a punch as well.
"Good timing!"
His right fist was jet black and shiny, completely covered in Armament Haki, with dark silver magnetic force Entanglement around the knuckles, and blue and white electricity dancing between his fingers.
Two fists slowly approached each other in mid-air.
The closer they got, the more terrifying the pressure from the two forces became, and the rainwater in between was completely evaporated, leaving a straight blank space.
With a flap of her wings, Bi Ji floated dozens of feet backward, her emerald eyes fixed intently on the clash of their fists.
"Bang--!!!"
The two fists finally collided violently.
The immense energy erupted upon contact, and a violent shockwave swept outwards from the two of them, shattering the surrounding reefs and creating a huge crater in the sea. A ring of water rose several meters high before crashing down again.
The torrential rain was cleared away by this punch, clearing away an area of several dozen feet in radius.
For the first time, a look of shock appeared in Di Tian's usually calm, golden eyes.
He felt an overwhelming, unreasonable force slamming into him from the other's fist. The force contained a dark silver fluctuation he had never seen before, heavy and resilient, like a living creature, crashing down his arm and forcefully pushing back the Soul Power he had activated.
His feet slid two deep grooves into the rocks, sending stones flying.
Is this kid really only level 45?
Bai Yushan felt the same way.
His arm was still slightly numb, and a dull ache throbbed in his fist. Di Tian's punch looked light, but it felt like it contained a mountain—incredibly heavy.
Keep in mind that he has already entered Magnetic Field Rotation 10,000 horsepower. An ordinary Super Douluo cannot even withstand a single punch from him. Di Tian can force him to meet the attack with all his might with a casual punch.
Quasi-God level, truly living up to its reputation.
They each took half a step back, then simultaneously regained their footing.
Di Tian glanced down at his fist, then looked up at Bai Yushan. The scrutiny in his golden eyes lessened, replaced by a hint of seriousness.
"Good lad, no wonder the lord speaks so highly of you."
He flicked his hand, tossed his black robe aside, and his gaze swept over the ravaged sea and the lingering stench of blood, his brow furrowing.
"With three members of the Long Clan already gone, the Federation will eventually find out. The War God Temple and the military are not to be trifled with, and with the addition of the Sun Moon Long Clan, this mess won't be resolved anytime soon."
He paused, then said in a deep voice, "This place is not safe to stay for long. I'll take you away from the Douluo Continent to avoid the trouble."
Upon hearing this, Bi Ji immediately nodded. "Okay, I'll do as you say."
She also knew that the most important thing right now was to take Bai Yushan away.
This young man has just broken through to the next level, his foundation is not yet stable, and he is also covered in injuries. If he gets entangled with the Federation's army, it will be very troublesome.
Without saying anything more, Di Tian turned around and took off flying towards the South Sea.
He moved with incredible speed, his black robes fluttering in the wind, and black ripples spreading through the space beneath his feet. Bi Ji flapped her wings, enveloped in emerald light, and followed closely behind. Bai Yushan took a deep breath, using his magnetic field to support his body, and also caught up.
The three figures formed a line, cutting through layers of rain, and sped towards the deep sea to the south.
At first, one could still see the coastline and scattered islands, but the further south one went, the more open and desolate the surroundings became, with only the boundless sea and thick dark clouds overhead. Occasionally, Sea Soul Beast would stir up waves on the surface of the sea, but sensing the terrifying dragon might emanating from Di Tian, they were so frightened that they dived into the deep sea, not daring to show their heads.
As Bai Yushan flew, he silently circulated his magnetic field power, gently nourishing the meridians within his body that were still throbbing with pain.
The power of ten thousand Magnetic Field Rotation circulated through my limbs and bones, gradually relieving the soreness in my muscles and the stinging pain in my meridians. The crisscrossing wound on my chest was also visibly closing and scabbing over.
He could clearly feel his body rapidly adapting to this new power.
After speeding along for an unknown amount of time, the rain gradually thinned, the dark clouds dispersed, and a long-awaited ray of sunlight leaked through the gaps in the clouds, sprinkling onto the sea and breaking into specks of golden light.
Di Tian's speed finally slowed down.
"Arrive."
Looking up from Bai Yushan.
A small island lies quietly on the distant sea.
The island wasn't large; it stretched as far as the eye could see, its circumference estimated to be several dozen miles. In the center of the island rose a verdant mountain peak, not high, but graceful in appearance, with a thin wisp of white mist swirling around its waist, like a white veil.
The waters surrounding the island are crystal clear, a light turquoise near the shore that gradually deepens into a profound azure as it extends into the distance. Waves lap against the beach, creating layers of white foam, and colorful seashells are scattered on the sand. Occasionally, a few seabirds flap their wings and take off and land on the shallows.
The island is covered with lush forests, coconut trees, palm trees, and many other tropical plants whose names I don't know. The branches and leaves are layered and shiny green. Several streams can be vaguely seen in the forest, winding down from the mountainside and eventually flowing into the sea. From a distance, they look like silver threads hanging on a green carpet.
A sea breeze blows, carrying the salty, damp air and the fresh scent of grass and trees, wafting towards you, indescribably comfortable.
The entire island was quiet and deserted, like a forgotten emerald in the depths of the South Sea.
Di Tian led the two of them to the beach. The fine sand under their feet was soft and white, and they sank slightly when they stepped on it.
"This island is in a remote location, not on the Federation's nautical charts, and there are no large Sea Soul Beast colonies nearby, so no one usually comes here."
He raised his hand and waved it, his black robe sweeping across the scene, a gentle force dispersing the surrounding sand. "You all stay here and recover. We'll make further plans once the storm outside subsides."
