Biodata
| Feature | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | Stelle (星) |
| Alias(es) | Galactic Baseballer; self-proclaimed “foremost warrior under Lin Yuan” 98 161 |
| Gender | Female 161 |
| Affiliation | Astral Express; the Nameless 86 98 |
| Occupation/Role | Trailblazer; exhibition fighter at the Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament 85 98 |
| Martial Soul | None; she explicitly confirms this when challenged by the Seventh Elder 167 |
| First Appearance | Chapter 85, “Astral Express” |
Appearance
- Hair: Gray 99 161.
- Eyes: Golden 161.
- Apparent age: Young enough that several Clear Sky Sect members initially underestimate her; the passages do not establish her actual age 161 166 170.
- Characteristic pose: Frequently rests her baseball bat on her shoulder, including while confronting opponents 100 130 161.
Personality
Stelle is outwardly calm but eager to fight powerful opponents. On arriving above Spirit City, she pays particular attention to unfamiliar Soul Power and draws her bat after sensing Qian Daoliu’s presence. March 7th has to stop her from turning their first contact into a fight 85.
She treats her “Galactic Baseballer” identity with complete seriousness. She corrects challengers who call her by her name instead, and Yan earns her immediate approval simply by addressing her with the title 98 99 102.
Her fascination with trash cans overrides embarrassment or social expectations. She searches bins in public, sometimes climbing inside, and values finding discarded objects more than receiving equivalent items as gifts. Her finds include a Copper Soul Coin, a broken comb, a metal clasp, refined iron, and an old badge 87 88 96.
Stelle combines genuine intervention against bullies with an enthusiastic interest in rewards. After protecting Spirit City’s gate staff, she calculates how much the attackers might be worth in compensation. She also makes the Seventh Elder’s apology to the bullied shift supervisor a condition of their wager 161 162 166.
Abilities & Skills
Physical Strength and Speed
Stelle can overpower high-ranking Soul Masters without possessing a Martial Soul 162 167.
- Holds a Soul Saint’s wrist immobile despite his repeated attempts to escape, then knocks him unconscious with one punch 162.
- Moves through his companions faster than they can effectively defend themselves or release their Martial Souls 162.
- Repels the Seventh Elder’s Clear Sky Hammer without moving from her position and remains composed through prolonged exchanges with his Martial Soul Avatar 168 169.
- Previously fought hordes of the Antimatter Legion, including Voidrangers 169.
Baseball Bat Combat
Her metal bat serves as both an offensive weapon and a means of meeting heavy attacks head-on 100 168.
- Single-swing knockouts: Sends Huyan Li, Feng Xiaotian, Yu Tianheng, and Dai Weisi out of the tournament arena with one swing each 100.
- Energy enhancement: Activates blue patterns along the bat before delivering a stronger strike against Yan 102.
- Serious Bat Strike: Breaks the Seventh Elder’s accumulated Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer force and sends him backward 168.
- “Baseball Bat True Body”: Her joking response to the Seventh Elder’s Martial Soul Avatar; she lights up the bat’s patterns rather than manifesting a Martial Soul of her own 167 169.
- Demonstrated limit: The Seventh Elder’s Shock Absolute numbs her palm and knocks the bat from her hand 169.
Flaming Lance
Stelle can dismiss her bat and summon a lance engulfed in crimson flames 100.
- Flaming charge: Rushes Tang San with her body wrapped in fire, breaking the platform beneath her initial acceleration 101.
- Projectile defense: Spreads crimson energy before the lance to deflect Tang San’s hidden weapons 101.
- Ground eruption: Drives the lance into the arena floor to release a burst of crimson energy 101.
- Golden barrier: Blocks the Seventh Elder’s descending hammer after being disarmed and sends him flying backward 169.
- Rapid weapon switching: Changes from lance to bat against Tang San, and from a disarmed bat to lance against the Seventh Elder 101 169.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Baseball bat — A gray metal weapon that can appear in her hand, vanish into blue motes, and channel pale-blue energy 102 161 169.
- Flaming Lance — A summonable, flame-covered weapon used for charges, energy bursts, and defensive barriers 100 101 169.
- Credits card — Receives her share of the Clear Sky Sect’s payment after the Seventh Elder’s defeat 172.
- Salvaged collection — Keeps discarded objects recovered from Spirit City’s trash cans and collects loose Golden Dragon King scales 87 88 127.
Relationships
- March 7th — Fellow Astral Express traveler who repeatedly tries to restrain Stelle’s fighting impulses, trash-can searches, and questionable gift choices. Despite her exasperation, March cheers for Stelle and bets all her saved Credits on her victory over the Seventh Elder 85 87 103 167.
- Dan Heng — Fellow crew member who accompanies her around Spirit City and remains calm when the Seventh Elder disarms her. They also witness the hatching of Ruan Mei’s little dragon together 87 155 169.
- Himeko — Fellow Express member who supports Stelle’s participation in the tournament exhibition. Stelle later gives Yan a cup of Himeko’s coffee as a reward 98 102 103.
- Lin Yuan — Local guide and collaborator in arranging fights and rewards. He secures her exhibition match, offers Worship Hall trash-can access in exchange for giving Tang San a “proper welcome,” and handles compensation for her captives 88 98 100 163 172.
- Qingque — Celestial Jade opponent who repeatedly defeats her. Stelle eagerly uses an official summons as an excuse to leave their unfinished game 90.
- Yan — Challenger who earns her respect by surviving multiple bat strikes. Her promised reward—a cup of Himeko’s coffee—causes him to collapse 102 103.
- Golden Dragon King — Opponent whom a gate guard remembers her chasing and beating with a bat. She later collects his loose scales and attempts to pull off another before March stops her 127 161.
- Seventh Elder — Clear Sky Sect opponent defeated in a wagered duel. He attempts a surprise attack after losing and ultimately owes additional payment 166 169 170 172.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Arrival on the Douluo Continent
The Astral Express unexpectedly appears above Spirit City during what should have been a normal warp jump. Stelle is immediately interested in the local powers, but March prevents her from confronting Qian Daoliu with her bat. She subsequently joins the meeting in Pope Hall, where the visitors learn about the continent and its Borisin problem 85 86.
Lin Yuan guides Stelle, March, and Dan Heng through Spirit City and explains Martial Souls, Soul Power, Soul Rings, and Soul Beasts. Stelle spends much of the outing searching trash cans instead. When the visitors discover that Credits cannot be used locally, Lin Yuan pays for their purchases with a Worship Hall token 87 88.
Continental Elite Soul Master Tournament
Stelle grows tired of watching the tournament and asks to participate. With Himeko’s support and Bibi Dong’s approval, Lin Yuan arranges an exhibition open to any participating young Soul Master. Stelle introduces herself publicly as the Galactic Baseballer 98.
| Challenger | Documented encounter |
|---|---|
| Huyan Li | Knocked unconscious and out of the arena with one swing despite his Diamond Mammoth defenses and Head Soul Bone 100. |
| Feng Xiaotian | Knocked out of the arena with one swing 100. |
| Yu Tianheng | Knocked out of the arena with one swing 100. |
| Dai Weisi | Knocked out of the arena with one swing 100. |
| Tang San | Stelle summons the Flaming Lance, deflects his hidden weapons, and switches back to her bat when he approaches closely 100 101. |
| Yan | Withstands two ordinary strikes and remains standing after her enhanced attack, earning her recognition 102. |
The host announces that Stelle finishes the exhibition with a perfect record. Her reward for Yan proves more troublesome than the fighting: he collapses after drinking Himeko’s coffee, prompting March to berate her. Stelle later secretly replaces the Express’s planned camera prize for the tournament with coffee as well 103 110.
Dragon Encounters
After the Golden Dragon King is found unconscious in Spirit City, Stelle pockets loose scales and tries to remove another directly from his body. March intervenes before she can pull it free 127.
She later witnesses Ruan Mei’s golden dragon egg hatch alongside March and Dan Heng. When the evolved Luo Sanpao chooses to live with the Express crew, Stelle proposes naming him “Golden Trash Can No. 1” 155 157.
Gate Incident and Clear Sky Sect Duel
Stelle intervenes when black-robed men intimidate Spirit City’s gate staff while claiming to belong to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. She captures their Soul Saint leader and most of his companions, although one escapes into the crowd. Hoping to obtain compensation, she has the captives carted to Lin Yuan 161 162 163.
The prisoners prove to be Clear Sky Sect disciples. When the sect’s elders arrive, the Seventh Elder challenges Stelle. She agrees on the condition that losing will cost him an additional stake and an apology to the bullied supervisor; he offers to double the stake 164 165 166.
Stelle breaks his Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer sequence and counters his Martial Soul Avatar and Clear Sky Nine Absolutes. After he knocks away her bat, she summons the Flaming Lance, repels him with a barrier, and ends the duel with its tip at his throat 168 169.
The Seventh Elder then uses Ring Detonation and Great Sumeru Hammer to attack her from behind after the match. Before the blow lands, an external gravitational force pins him to the ground. Stelle subsequently receives the promised Credits through a transfer arranged by the Second Elder 170 172.

“Old man, this table is public property. Keep slapping it like that, and you'll have to pay if it breaks too.” 166
Trivia
- Stelle imagines asking Ruan Mei for an artificial golden trash can Martial Soul, chiefly so she can summon it anywhere and cuddle it while sleeping. No acquisition is documented 167 168.
- Her suggestion that Lin Yuan possesses “Killing Intent Perception” comes from storybooks, not an identified ability she has observed or uses herself 112.
- Her claim to be Lin Yuan’s “foremost warrior” surprises the gate supervisor; it is a self-appointed title rather than an established Spirit Hall position 161.
