Before anyone from Blazing Fire Academy could even make a move, Yan Buhui had instantly subdued them all with a single Phoenix Heart-Devouring Chain.

At a time like this, Huo Wu was the only one Yan Buhui would listen to.

Anyone else who spoke would generally be served a slap.

Afterward, he would reason with them in a soft, gentle voice.

It had to be said, such behavior was both terribly domineering and gentle.

As it happened, Yan Buhui was a man in whom both domineering and gentle sides coexisted.

He used force only to solve problems.

"Let them go, and I'll agree."

Yan Buhui did not burst with joy upon hearing that. He merely replied indifferently, "You? You agreed?"

"Mm... I agree to be your wife, on the condition that you let my father, brother, and teammates go."

"Ha, naturally. I have no interest in them."

Yan Buhui spread his hands nonchalantly. "I'm a man who believes in justice. Since you've agreed, you can't go back on your word."

"Mm. I, Huo Wu, will never go back on something I've promised."

"Good!"

Hearing that, Yan Buhui raised a hand and released Huo Wushuang, Huo Tian'en, and the others.

Once Huo Wu saw that everyone from Blazing Fire Academy was safe and sound, she walked up to Yan Buhui, tears streaming down her face.

"Huo Wu!!!" Huo Tian'en cried.

"Little sister!!!" Huo Wushuang cried.

"Vice captain!" the other five from Blazing Fire Academy called out.

"Everyone, go back. I... will be fine." With no other choice, Huo Wu helplessly bid everyone from Blazing Fire Academy farewell.

Yan Buhui was in no hurry.

His wife was saying goodbye to her family, so he had to give them some time. Besides, Yan Buhui was not at all worried that Huo Wu would go back on her word.

That was because he had the absolute strength to destroy everyone present.

That also meant Yan Buhui had absolute control over the situation.

And Huo Wu herself had no choice; she could only be forced to choose.

Although his methods were somewhat unscrupulous,

for the sake of his conscience, Yan Buhui would not tear down the bridge after crossing it, nor would he take the initiative to hurt innocent people.

Huo Wu looked up and saw Yan Buhui's face, with its regal features.

"Why are you so handsome, yet you have to resort to robbing female Soul Masters to make them your wives???"

Yan Buhui gave an awkward, apologetic smile. "Well... it's not my fault I'm handsome, and I can't help it if I can't find a wife. Sigh, being handsome isn't something I can control, and neither are liking and loving someone. They're too troublesome, too tormenting."

"I can only use these simple, rough methods to accomplish some unnecessary things."

"You really know how to talk..." Huo Wu pressed her lips together and asked, "It's really strange that someone like you can't find a wife. You're already so handsome. Couldn't you just find any female Soul Beast? How could they refuse?"

"I'm not interested in females. I'm very interested in beautiful women."

Yan Buhui really did not know what else to say.

Yan Buhui cast a Fire-Warding Spell on Huo Wu.

He carved his own mark on her body.

It would allow her to enter and leave Phoenix Emperor Mountain freely.

That way, Huo Wu would be immune to the eruptions of intensely hot flame on Phoenix Emperor Mountain.

"My surname is Yan, and my given name is Buhui."

Yan Buhui introduced himself. "You can call me Buhui, husband, or Brother Yan from now on. Call me whatever you like; it's only a form of address."

"Then I'll call you Huo Wu. That's your real name, right?"
