Soul Beast Invasion-Are They Sure They Aren't Just Delivering Themselves?

The outskirts of the Land of Extreme Flame.

Yan Buhui could sense the presence of other Soul Beasts.

He hadn't expected that, during his time away, even with the Sky Azure Bull Python, Titan Giant Ape, Three-Headed Hellhound, Flame Bird, Flame Martial Wild Boar King, Earth Fire Lizard Lord and other powerful Soul Beast overlords here,

there would still be Soul Beasts reckless enough to invade his territory.

This was utterly lawless.

The Land of Extreme Flame hadn't changed hands yet. This Soul Beast was probably a particularly ferocious one.

Yan Buhui came here as usual.

He saw that the Sky Azure Bull Python and the Titan Giant Ape, the two brothers, had also suffered quite a few injuries.

It looked as though they had gotten them fighting the invading Soul Beast.

The Sky Azure Bull Python and the Titan Giant Ape straightened themselves up, then came scurrying over to Yan Buhui.

"Did you get a good look at the invading Soul Beast?"

"I might know who it is."

"It was a hundred-thousand-year-old Flame Lion Dog and a Flame Azure Wolf King!"

The Sky Azure Bull Python paused. "Their strength was nothing to sneeze at. Even when Er Ming and I joined forces, we couldn't gain the upper hand."

"In the end, it was only when the Three-Headed Hellhound, Flame Bird, Flame Martial Wild Boar King and Earth Fire Lizard Lord arrived that we barely managed to drive them back."

"They'll probably come back in force."

The Sky Azure Bull Python gave his detailed account at an unhurried pace.

Yan Buhui noticed a wisp of lingering flame on the ground where the Sky Azure Bull Python and the Titan Giant Ape had just fought.

No other flame had ever appeared on this scorched earth before.

And the flame before him was peculiar, somehow different.

This was a flame that wouldn't go out...

A trace of suspicion rose in Yan Buhui's heart. If one of the two beasts truly possessed Eternal Fire, it would simply be another good thing that would increase his strength.

Being able to devour Eternal Fire and take control of it

Yan Buhui looked up and saw the Flame Lion Dog's magnificent mane, fiery red and gleaming. Scorching fur ran from his back to his tail, which bore fiery, star-like points of light, and a flame-shaped emblem was etched into his back.

The Flame Azure Wolf King, meanwhile, was also wreathed in a fiery presence. He looked fierce, yet there was a trace of sanctity about his features. Amid the blazing heat, the skin on his four limbs shone, his claws and fangs were sharp, and he looked bright-eyed and full of vigor.

"You're that Evil Fire Phoenix?"

The Flame Lion Dog leader saw the man sitting on the large bluestone and spoke up to ask.

The Flame Lion Dog smiled calmly as he replied.

"A place like the Land of Extreme Flame doesn't have your name written on it. Why can't we come here?"

That was what the Flame Azure Wolf King said.

"Good. Very good."

Yan Buhui clapped his hands in mock applause. "It seems there's nothing for us to discuss."

Looking at the Soul Beasts itching to make a move, Yan Buhui had originally wanted to resolve things peacefully.

Instead, he had received humiliation and rejection.

"What do we have to discuss with you?"
