The Four Great Ratmen Clans and the Founding of the Council of Thirteen
In the Skaven Ratmen Empire of the Death World, the four clans that split off from within each other have taken different paths in their development.
Because there is more than one kind of power in this world, Skaven Ratmen wield their power in the same way.
This is also the main reason for their split.
The clans do not yet have names, but given this trend, Shen Hui has already thought of one for them.
He himself would name them so-called clans.
The largest clan to break away from the Skaven Ratmen Empire.
Shen Hui named them the Clan Skryre —those who wield Magic Energy and technology.
This clan is also the Skaven Ratmen society.
They possess steam technology that they stole and acquired from humans.
It also includes the Magic Energy technology that humans use today.
Furthermore, in the Mist of Lost Direction region of the Death World, these areas are constantly eroded by the Death Power and this force from the Death World.
Driven by Magic Energy, a peculiar crystal containing powerful energy was born.
These crystals, mined by the Skaven Ratmen, are known as Warpstone.
Although the results they developed using these materials, along with the science and technology they possessed, differed from those of human development.
But it is in no way inferior to, and even surpasses, in terms of weaponry.
The second clan, which Shen Hui named the Clan Moulder, possessed alchemy and genetic modification skills.
The origins of this clan are related to the original origins of the Skaven Ratmen.
The Skaven Ratmen were mutated through the corruption of Magic Energy, and then transformed into their evolved form under Shen Hui's control.
Therefore, what this clan was researching was the Magic Energy that caused their mutated evolution.
Through distortion and pollution, various monsters are created.
Furthermore, the discovery of the Warpstone revealed that it contained not only more powerful Magic Energy but also more potent aberration radiation pollution.
With this material, they can refine strange things and even modify genes.
The third clan, which Shen Hui named the Clan Pestilens, controlled diseases and biological weapons.
The origin of this clan is actually related to Abomination.
The Great Ruin will also engulf the Ratmen's Ruined Capital, and the Pestilence brought by the appearance of the Abomination will follow.
This is not fatal for these rat-men who have evolved through mutation.
On the contrary, some rat-men became carriers and spreaders, and these rat-men already carried various viral characteristics in their bodies.
So gradually, the rat-people who had suffered from the Pestilence began to gather together.
They began researching it and modifying it into various biological and chemical weapons.
A new direction for development has emerged within the Rat People.
They studied viruses and even created special rat-men modified by viruses.
It is worth mentioning that in the early stages of the Clan Pestilens's development, Pestilence Doctor helped them when they were researching the Pestilence virus.
At the time, the Foundation contacted the Abomination through the Pestilence Doctor, and during one of these contacts, the Pestilence Doctor was taken to the Ratmen's Ruined Capital.
The Pestilence Doctor then indicated that it was possible to have friendly communication with the ratmen of the Ratmen's Ruined Capital.
With the approval of the higher-ups in Steam City, the Pestilence Doctor was allowed to visit the Ratmen's Ruined Capital a few times.
However, during a conversation about the Pestilence Doctor, it was revealed that he was there helping the ratmen research the Pestilence.
From then on, the Pestilence Doctor was confined to his quarters for a period of time and was no longer allowed to go to the Ratmen's Ruined Capital.
The last clan was called the Clan Eshin —skilled in assassination and stealth.
This clan has a small number of ratmen.
However, within the Skaven Empire, they are a force to be reckoned with.
Their physical abilities are more advanced, but their bodies are shorter.
They possess greater movement speed and immense strength.
Coupled with their dirty nature as Skaven Ratmen, they have a great fondness for backstabbing and assassination.
In addition, some of the ratmen among them have mastered unique assassination abilities through Magic Energy.
You could say they were born assassins.
These are the four major clans of the Skaven Ratmen.
Of course, there are other forces as well, but Shen Hui did not make any further distinctions. The four main forces are still the four mentioned above.
Therefore, the current civilization of the Skaven Ratmen is no less advanced than that of the Steam City.
It was only because of the Sea of Death, the Mountains of Madness, the Great Ruin, and the strange creatures like the Hard-to-Destroy Reptile that appeared later that held them back.
The Skaven Ratmen have had minor conflicts, but no major wars have occurred since.
Regarding the clan divisions of the Skaven Ratmen, Shen Hui also based them on the original Skaven Ratmen history.
Regarding the future development of the Skaven Ratmen, Shen Hui naturally hoped to summon the Skaven Ratmen god— the Great Horned Rat.
Although it's impossible now, before that happens, Shen Hui can first establish a meeting of Council of Thirteen for the Skaven Ratmen, a meeting of the Great Horned Rat.
Shen Hui himself descended upon the Skaven Ratmen Empire.
He temporarily became the largest and most powerful rat among them, and formed Council of Thirteen.
There are twelve ratmen representing various clans, uniting them to stand together when facing the Skaven Ratmen enemies.
And they declared that the gods belonged to the Skaven Ratmen.
Shen Hui explained it as the origin of the Skaven Ratmen, the god who created the Skaven Ratmen — the Great Horned Rat.
All Skaven Ratmen should pray sincerely that their race's gods will descend and conquer this world.
As for why it's called the Council of Thirteen, only twelve ratmen actually joined.
Because the last spot is reserved for the Great Horned Rat.
After doing all this, Shen Hui did not interfere further.
Just like creating Cthulhu, first give them a foundation of faith, let them become faithful believers and provide them with a continuous source of Power of Faith.
In the end, both creating Great Horned Rat and the natural birth of Great Horned Rat will become very easy.
I also took a look at the overall development of the Death World.
Shen Hui discovered that during this period, the number of people falling into the Backrooms World had also increased rapidly.
More and more people are becoming travelers in the Backrooms World, and some travelers have already met in the Backrooms World.
And together they continued to explore the lower floors.
At the same time, a large number of residents disappeared without a trace, which was already documented by the Foundation.
The Foundation has now reopened its investigation into this unnamed supernatural event, tentatively designated SCP-0.
Furthermore, investigators trained at the Miskatonic School also cooperated in the investigation.
To this day, it is unknown whether some investigators have also fallen into the Backrooms World after discovering the problem.
Shen Hui smiled with satisfaction, knowing that the Backrooms World would be discovered by humans in the Death World.
That would spread even more fear.
The current Death World, coupled with the integration of multiple Blank Will Star Core.
Although his own creation World Level level seven, it is definitely no weaker than level eight, and may even be comparable to level nine!
